These are difficult if you don't have a certain level of core fitness. I would do your max plank morning and evening for a couple weeks. Records your results. And then when you can comfortably do both 30+ seconds, then you're ready. I'd start with 3 sets of 3 on each side with 1 min rest between. Working your way up to sets of 10 each side alternating each side. You'll be amazed at how fast your body adapts and your core will feel amazing (because it's getting much stronger)
