@@driver46 I wouldn't lose any sleep over it. In my experience, unless you're doing a real slick edit, 70% of people will be annoyed by music, no matter what the music is. You may really get me by putting Best of the Rising Sun on this, but someone else would really want Freebird, someone else wants Mozart, and a bunch of people just want to hear the motor. I've had people complain about music on a time lapse, as if they were missing the pure engine sound at 5x speed. Best to leave be.
Nc owner here; I don’t even watch this race anymore as the sound is so intoxicating- it’s enough to satisfy! Xlnt driving & timing your shifts-stay safe n keep her flying!!👍🏁
Perfect example to show how a light nimble race can outpace heavy and powerful depending on the environment. You are practically driving a TT5 car but on A7's.
Just bought essentially a clone of your car, that comes with 17x9 RPF1s. Wondering if you've tried fitting a 245 A7 in the stock fenders. Car has 245 now but 200TW (I know A7s are way wider) After watching these videos, hope the car I bought is half as capable. Those were some fast cars you were out on track with, but having an NA Miata that's punching well above it's weight I'm hoping my new NC continues that legacy
Hi, I got care with rolled fenders and than I butchered them even more . I think that for 245 you have to have at least some roll on your fenders to prevent rubbing in corners . I hope you will have great time with it 👍
I totally enjoy your track videos! I was wondering if you were still on your first 2.5 Ford Duratec engine in your NC? Also how do you feel the engine is handling the upgraded cams. My Freind’s is on his 2nd stock 2.5 swap engine. And I am getting ready to buy 2.5 for a swap and was wondering if I should put cams in before the swap. Thanks for any input and can’t wait for the next track video.
Hi , thanks for comment. I am on my third 2.5 but first one died( in 3 track days) due to very bad tune before I had AF gague it was running extremely rich. Second one lasted over 40 track days and was mostly killed by idling without any oil for few minutes( by mistake of course) . If you have time and you want to mostly track it cams will work great but for the street use you will have more torque with stock cams from 2500rpm to 4000rpm . These engines are pretty reliable if you put redline to 6800rpm and don't torture it like I do up to 7500rpm . All 3 I got were really cheap in 200$ range with local pickup so I have no complains at all. If you decide on cams definately do it before you put engine in the car because it is really painful to do it after .
Awesome thanks for the prompt reply. Yes my car will be mostly for track so cams will go in before swap. Did you use the stage 1 or 2 cams for your current engine? How many track days in this engine?
@@kelybobele I used Esslinger stage 2 cams , this engine has about 20 track days mostly competitions . Also I never changed valve springs that some recommend but honestly with stage 2 cams that is unnecessary. I added oil cooler during 2.5 swap just to be safe.
@@mazboost Walter that rebuild lot of Mazdas transmission for racing told me that in their experiance the best option is to use stock shifter. I had two transmission that fork got stuck between 4th and 3rd and he claimed that it could be caused by shifter , I still don't see how that is possible but I decided to test if this one will last longer with stock shifter .

Supra driver is having emotional damage 😅
I opened a 2nd tab and played some Eurobeat over this video. So much fun to watch.
If TH-cam is not so strict with copyrights I would love to play some really cool music in the videos but that would be taken down immediately.

Nice driving bro! Having revenge in the corners for what that Supra does to you on straights!
Quick hands. Nice driving. You made great use of your grip advantage.
Thanks
Insane cornering on that thing! Congrats!
Thanks , I was supposed too how much grip car had on used A7 .
Nice NC and great driving! Chuckwalla is the perfect place for a balanced car to shine.
Great driver and great car combo.
Great job--love your videos! The Supra found 11/10ths ability a few times it seems.
Thanks, it seems he couldn't carry the same speed in the corners with extra weight and those tires . He definately tried hard , I respect that .

The driver mod is real! That Supra is over driving trying to keep up with the NC in the corners haha.
Stoked to try A7 for the first time this year
Need more vids…!!! 💥👍🤣💪
Congrats mate great driving. Are you running the factory shifter setup?
Thanks, I do now. I had CAE shifter for a year that was very crisp and precise .
@@driver46 thank you. Any main reason for the switch back? I'm running the G-Racing shifter in my 2.5 currently. Cheers!

my hero
Your line was much better than the Supra despite his tires.
Thanks , I tried the best I could to carry as much speed as posible in the corners.
