  • GT3 RS and Mustang 5.0 in serious track trim chasing down Miata NC 2.5
    So much fun trying to keep up with these beasts , little Miata didn't disappoint . With 180,000mi on the car and junkyard 2.5 engine swap NC was performing really good , GT3 RS could be much faster of course but it was great hanging there for a lap and listening to amazing sound of Porsche.

    Sounds like Turbo Joe needs to Turbo Yo NC next and then you can hang with a GT3 for sure.
    I get my Miester R CRD's soon and I'm so excited!

    Impressive driving! Are you still on the first 2.5l you swapped in? How many hours on that engine?

      Thanks, first engine died after 3 track days due to bad tune AFR was 9
      But this one is doing well over 15 track days so far.

    I’m considering 2.5 swapping my NC as well, track focused. How do the stock components handle heat? What about stock callipers?

    • @driver46
      @driver46  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I used original cooling system until 2.5 swap and it worked just fine ,car had 177K mi . During swap I got aluminum radiator and oil cooler and temperatures are just fine even in 105f outside temperatures . Stock brakes are just fine as long as you use good brake fluid ( Castrol SRF in my case) and pads . I got big brake kit last year but the difference is ony in the feeling of brake pedal .

      Yeah , definitely way to aggressive inputs from steering to gas pedal .
