The Final Battle of the Clasic SNES FFV, now in HD!. Well as you can see i really tank every party member with Freelancers who has all jobs mastered. Every member equip Ribbon since it guard you again "White Hole" who is ExDeath most dangerous attack as this time, since it KO + Petrified one character, made you losing turns on Revive and remove the Petrified character negative effect. Mirage best seens to be neat to safe agains some randoms later Vacuum Wave pysical attacks (Dont needed at all but it just look so cool to habe the party flash aroun with multy images, kinda a shadow clone jutsu ^^). I also decided to equip Wall Rings on every party member, since my party endourance is so hard that really they only would need very few uses of Blue Magic White Wind to be healed wihout many trouble, and well the reflex probet to be very usefull to return back those nasty Flare Spells in case Ex-Death decides to trow it. Well for attacking i habe Butz and Faris to habe X-Fight paired with two weapons to massive pysical power combined with Time Magic!. I know Rune Axe front Bart is not the best powerfull choice but i just like how this cool gold Axe looks around with the flashy critical hits.. that actually does pretty desent damage every turn. Faris has the Mighty Brave blade at his maximun 150 base power along with Excalibur, mainly to enabled her to make use of the Magic Sword skill since i liked her as a Mage Knight. Well For the summoner stuff who can be better than Lenna? As always she must be the caller of beast!. Paired her with X-Magic really is a top overpowerfull damage dealer for multy party striked the uncomming Neo-ExDeath. And Well Krile is mainly used as a Suppor character using White Magic to ocasionally deal some good Holy damage or also healing the party with Blue Magic White Wind spell. Anyway my party wast just to good defended and ExDeath can do nearly a thing on his first posse. And well i event manage to just toy around with Neo-ExDeath wihout any mayor problem. Doing the fun stuff of strike him with X-Fight or event some Magic Sword strikes to enjoy the visual animation of the Flare Magic Sword.. before let this guy be absorved by the void for good. Reminds me of Medarot Navi on GBA. The final boss is basically a baby/seed/alien/robot who can turn into a creepy tree named Mistral. Its powers are even more dangerous when it's not alone.

I love how the old ff's had some weird wacky ass malformed configuration of mass as a final boss. The thought process being, "how can we make a lasting impression on an enemy? Make it horrifying to look at."

I love it how whenever someone in ff5 talks about the power of the void it's normal but when exdeath talks about the "VOID" it's in quotes

For some reason in the Japanese version they emphasize the word void with quotes (『無』) so this translation just followed that
I'm just picturing Exdeath making air quotes every time he mentions the "VOID". If FFV ever gets the FFVII remake treatment that's what we need.

Neo Exdeath has an insane amount of health compared to everything else in the game. A party the uploaders level can easily kill both super bosses in under a minute, but it takes over 6 minutes to kill Neo Exdeath.
The Neo-Exdeath theme starts sinister at first, then it's all nonsense from here on out. It's such a funny song.
They dont want to make it scary and i actually like it that way just hear trail of blood from final fantasy VII just fucked up.
I will never forget the hype and joy I felt when I made it here and beat Exdeath. This one and part 6 are top 5 for me.

I know I sound childish, but, when he said we are the crystal warriors I teared up because this is the essence of Final Fantasy. Later games don't express this concept enough. Which is why I keep to these older entries, and their remakes (NOT REMASTERS).

FF16 has crystals to be destroyed, but they are not the four elements and rather are the elements that make up the eight Eikons. Water is notably absent.

awesome game, awesome music themes. great villains, Im missing final fantasy V and VI, probably the best 2 of the whole saga I've played
both are good. but if i have to choose which one is better, it's VI. ffv storyline sometimes looked like some kind of child story and it gives you too much hint. gameplay wise, it's one of the best. however, using it properly might not be easy. i used to like 5 most (back when i was 10 or 11)

This game has a glitch in it. The savepoint before Exdeath finalizes the game. So if youre party isnt strong enough to fight Exdeath, you're out of luck unless you kept a prior savepoint. I was unable to complete the game years ago due to this.

FF5 and FF6 had the most epic final boss entries of any FF game imo. It is just SOOO hype.
I think everygame had amazing bosses like this they are all amazing abd the team who made them should always be proud of what they've created. Lasting memories of these indomitable evils

I know hes like a metaphysical representation of death, but I wish they just called him "death" or something, Necron makes him sound like a character more than a state of nature
I grew up with FF4 and that final boss is pretty epic too. Love the final boss music for 4, 6, and 7 in particular
I remember the first time I got in that fight. I was a little kid, I was so shitted in the pants, seeing that mother fucking tree and that thing without any particular shape, the music being so intimidating... Damm.. Final fantasy knows how to built things up

The easiest way to beat exdeath is to master mime then put mimic on the summoner and the other 3 is on mime job, Summoner will use bahamut and all of them will use mimic until you beat the shit out of him. It doesn't consume any MP at all only the first time used of summon.
Also put a white magic for healing, do the same thing for unli healing. Did all of these on PS, GBA & Mobile.
Looks easy enough anyway, he barely got hit. Hope it's not this easy for PR

@@Walamonga1313 yeah I beat this game with 42 as my highest level character. Bartz was the only party member with over 2k health
@@Walamonga1313 I heard you can beat him with any party level with beast masters if you get the right monsters to release. Other than that you can beat him with a low level 30s party if you got a summoner with Golem, a blue mage with mighty guard, a time mage, and at least two with level 6 white magic.

I just beat FF5 for the first time (I've been sitting on it for almost 20 years....) and I was kind of bummed the final FINAL boss wasn't Enuo himself :( I feel like they built him up just to shut us down, a little. Yes, I know you can fight Enuo in the later releases, but it's odd to me he wasn't intended originally to be THE final boss. Great game, though!

In Japanese culture, there are cursed trees used as prison for demons of all kinds. At a certain point, the tree can even gain consciousness because of the negative energy created by the demons inside of him.
Exdeath originally was a tree but with the power of the Void, he molded himself a human shape.
In his Neo-Exdeath form, he fused with the demons inside of him which is why he looks like an amalgamate of different things.

Oh my god this battle was a bitch. I failed 2 times to wipe the floor with Exdeath. I beat him on the 3rd try. In comparison, Cloud of Darkness took me 2 tries. Chaos, Zeromus, Kefka, Sephiroth and Necron all took me 1 try. Exdeath was the hardest for me to beat.
this game in general is one of the hardest FF games
What sucks is the ribbon didn't protect my characters from Zombie when inflicted by Neo Exdeath.
Gil Toss, throw, holy and flare saved my ass in this battle. Mostly gil toss since it did more damage to all four parts than the others did to one part.

The first 6 FF titles required a _lot_ of grinding.
Tedious level building's pretty much a trademark of the FF series; FF5 is no exception.

Its actually easy. Not as hard as it looks. Have your characters at level 40-50. Have two prime mage character (in my case I choose lenna and galuf/krille to be a full mage character) to master summoner, white mage and red mage class. You will get dual cast from red mage which allow you to cast 2 spell in one turn which is can be 2x curaga, 2x holy, or maybe 1x curaga and 1x holy when you already mastered the white mage class. And 2x summon. And master physical class for the other two like Knight,monk,ninja,dragoon,samurai,thief and etc. Turn all of your characters to freelancer to gain the stats of the class that you have mastered. Exdeath will be dead for sure.

@@themantecol this was almost impossible to fight blindly if you're completely new to the series and still around level 40. the last time i fought exdeath, i overfarmed to level 62-63 (just not to get 1 hitted by certain spells and im still struggling). well, i was 9 or 10 back then so yeah
@@smilinggeneral8870 it is possible to do mostly blindly you just need to know the goat head's weakness so it can't cast Almagest. It's weakness is break spell blade it just dies instantly lol
