Hello Folks! Had a funny moment walking into church this past weekend. As I was walking up, the greeter said to me and my wife "hello folks!" I slowed down and tilted my head with a smile. Not knowing if he was going to think I was crazy, I said "Let's go Folks!!!" and he gave me a fist bump and said it was good to meet a fellow folk from Nateland. You guys are connecting people everywhere, so keep up the good work! Also, if you read this tell Brandon and Jesse they are a bunch of losers because their comment didn't get read! I'll see you at the show in OKC!

Congratulations to Aaron for dropping 100 lbs so far! Only took a Krispy Creme challenge, a marriage, an unofficial gout diagnosis, and the terminating of a 4 year long gymbership. Let's goooo, Aaron!

I had a 2 year run as a standup and I love to hear the stories of the comedy grind, truly inspiring. Also glad to see Aaron get his computer confidence back this episode. It takes 2 guys to replace Bran Flakes when he’s out, and Nate’s reading skills are deteriorating every episode.. my favorite podcast!

Every Wednesday, I come home from a long day at work and turn on TH-cam, looking forward to a new episode of the Nateland podcast. And every Wednesday, I inevitably fall asleep right in the middle of the podcast! I swear it has nothing to do with the content or the wonderful hosts! In fact, I think it's a combination of being in the middle of the week, my comfy couch, and the soothing, low energy voices of Nate, Brian, and Aaron. I always re-watch the podcast either immediately after waking up or the next day so I don't miss a moment. Keep up the good work, folks! Thank you all and prayers for Brian and his family. Missed you this week!

Hey Nate! My Boyfriend Mark and I found you when we first started dating, and watched your stand up special on Netflix together. For our first Christmas, I got him tickets to your show. Unfortunately, we never got to go because of Covid, but have continued to watch all of your specials, and now listen to your podcast. Fast forward to today, and we are now married and expecting our first baby in February. Mark is currently in Officer Training School for the US Air Force and will graduate in a few weeks. I know it would make his day to get a shout out from you on the podcast. You guys are the best- Laura. Ps- if we get a shout out, we will consider naming the baby after you.

The joke worked! The fat closet thing was hilarious on stage in DC. As an avid podcast fan, I heard a few of your jokes that sounded familiar and thought, did I hear that before?!? Turns out they were just premises you discussed on the podcast. My wife and I were thrilled to meet you after your DC show, especially as a new comic. This episode was really perfect for me to hear your early experiences and get a little insight into the road ahead. Really hope to meet you again. Thank you to Nick and Dustin for their time on this podcast. I yelled out “cortizone” as Nick came out on stage, and he was a true professional and ignored it. He was great! Love Aaron and sending our prayers to Bartles during his challenging time. - Vinny Lombardi

My husband taught me to play poker 7 years ago. When we went on a babymoon before our daughter was born we decided to enter a tournament at the resort. Those people were very serious players, and we were not good. People were pretty patient with the little pregnant lady, but they were brutal to my husband. we were at different tables, and had quite different experiences. Haha
We absolutely loved the show in Greensboro NC. It's shaping up to be Nate's best stuff yet!

Hello from Scappoose, Oregon! (Pronounced Sca-poose “like moose”)
Aaron looks shorter than Nic from that seat! He may be a Gout survivor but his slouching with the back of a 90 yr old.
I lost it when y’all were talking about Hershey World.
There’s a cool golf course, only 20 min from Portland, out here that my dad and grandpa play at if you’re ever back in town! When you said Aaron sold out a show, I believed it! I was like Nic looking over at Aaron thinking “sure he could sell out a show”
Also I love how positive and hilarious you guys are! Nate thanks so much for sacrificing your sleep to always do the podcast! I’ve been a big fan of your stand up for years.
Praying for “Bless His Hearts” family and can’t wait for the trio to be reunited!

Hey fellas. I'm a big fan of the podcast and appreciate all your unexpected insights. Something that occurred to me today was how often the show reminds me of sitting around with my bother & sister as a kid and if one of us ever asked any sort of question pertaining to events/people/places outside our regular sphere of influence, my dad would almost dutifully hop up from his chair, march into his home office, and emerge thumbing through a volume of his Encyclopedia Britannica to try and read the entry that applied to the question we may have asked. More often than not however, he would become so distracted by the entry in Encyclopedia immediately preceding or following the topic we were asking about, that by the end of his presentation, we'd have mostly forgotten our original question and generally lost interest. The biggest difference listening to Nate & the gang now is that the rabbit holes they end up running down aren't nearly as dreadful as my dad's, though I suspect you all might still be using the same volume of Encyclopedias. Keep up the terrific work! Best wishes to Brian and his family.

Nate, I've recently become a huge fan of your stand up (my dream is to do standup after my daughter's grown) and this podcast and have been watching all the episodes from the beginning. I live in Hopkinsville, Kentucky and its so fun to listen to a podcast where the hosts talk about towns and places you are familiar with. I listen to a ton of shows but most are recorded in New York or L.A so this one holds a special place In my heart. I just finished the aliens episode and was so excited to hear you were in Hopkinsville for the eclipse! I work at the Wal-Mart Super Center pharmacy and we all went out to watch it. It sounds crazy but its just so cool to think you were here to see something here in little Hopkinsville!!!! My job is incredibly stressful and I love listening to you, Bonanza, and Aaron on my lunch breaks to escape the chaos of my day! Thank you so much for all the laughs!!!

As a folk who lived in Norfolk, VA I feel compelled to inform Nate that the "folk" in Norfolk is pronounced more like "feck". The super locals take it a step further and pronounce the "Nor" in Norfolk like "Nah". All together it sounds like Nahfeck. I grew up in Virginia Beach so I don't get it either. Hey Aaron, Nate and Barf Bucket! Great show and go Irish! The little "what's an argonaut" segment had me thinking how great it would be if you guys once in a while did a special episode where you invite a guest or two and play something similar to Balderdash; a game of bluffs. Basically you are given a topic like Weird Words or Strange Laws and the idea is to make up an answer that the others will believe. There would be one correct answer and the rest are bluffs. You want the person guessing to pick yours. It's a hilarious game when played with the right people and you guys would be great at it! Enjoying the show. Keep em coming.

Hello Folks, I lived in the jungles of Guatemala for a couple of years on a mission for my church and my roommate was from El Salvador. One morning as we were about to leave our house I could smell an interesting coming from my roommate. I said “did you use anything of mine from the bathroom” and he said “yes, I found a tube of paste and I brushed my teeth but it was really bitter.” He then said “I realized it was not for my teeth, but instead for my hair.” I explained that it was neither but instead it was “Desitin” , a rash cream that I used for jungle rash on my behind and “be-front”. With a look of defeat on his face he asked if we could skip our first appointment so he could shower. I said “Yeah, I think you’d better.” Keep up the great work, hope Brian and his family are doing okay, love you guys.

Nate asking Nick for consensus that Aaron’s use of “aughts” was incorrect and then immediately telling a story of Nick being unable to discern the difference between the words Colgate and Cortizone was amazing. Yes, Aaron’s use of aughts is pretentious, but still correct. If we limited language to only the words agreed upon by the lowest common denominator in any room, we would soon be back to grunts and gestures. Love the podcast and it’s members, please never stop, just admit that you need Aaron to occasionally inject intelligent perspectives. Otherwise this all falls apart.

Your Dave Chappelle segment was interesting. I live in the town right next to his and we all (who live around him) know that we just leave him alone and don't bother him at all or even say anything to him. If anything we might say to people around us "oh, there's Dave Chappelle" and go on. I've seen him at the gym and no one was bothering him. (It's an unofficial respect we all have for him)

As someone who sometimes feels like diversity is starting to get forced on us in film and tv….those disability stats are flat out embarrassing.
It feels a little like saying rape is bad, but the disability challenge and nick novicky sounds amazing. How is that not something we should all get behind???

When we were younger, my brother ran to my mom in her bedroom with some great news to share with her. “Mommy! I brushed my teeth all by myself!” She started to dismiss it with a, “oh that’s great honey…” until she saw what was in his hand. Cortizone. She exclaimed, “Griffin! Did you brush your teeth with that???” He proudly smiled and said yes! Needless to say, she freaked out. She grabbed his hand and rushed to find the house phone (this was about the year 2000 I believe) to call Poison Control. They told her to keep an eye on him but because she didn’t think he had used that much, it probably wouldn’t harm him. To say my mom was relieved is an understatement.
I understand how Cortizone and Colgate look similar but another note to add: my brother was about 2 or 3 at the time and I would venture to say Nick is a little older than that 😉 I bet from now on Nick will pay a lot more attention to which toothpaste he uses.. specially at his parents house!
    Lets go folks!

Man from all the discussions the guys had today, comedy sounds like the UFC with the club owners being Dana White and the comics are all the fighters that aren’t getting paid their worth. Very interesting and educational podcast today learning about the stand-up comic life.

Honestly this episode was great and I had a lot of laughs and it’s always fun to rip on banana, but without him this whole episode felt off and and jabs at him just didn’t feel right. Praying for him and his family.

Derek: "I only eat Sour Patch Kids at the movies."
Aaron: "But why stop there? If you enjoy it that much..."
I was totally on board with Aaron's train of thought! But that line of thinking is what got us into our current predicament Aaron. That's a gout mindset, not a intermittent fasting mindset.

After you guys talking about it so much, I was going to wear my New York tie to school today. But without Brian, I didn't have them same zest for life.
Also, it didn't match the shirt I had already put on.
    I'll go proofread this now.

Is it just me? or was this episode way more positive than all the others? It felt weird not having negative facts brought up, or massacres whispered about the entire time by "bring down breakfast." Great episode. Prayers to Brian and his Wife's Family.

    Let's Go Folks!
How many views is a lot? And how does that weigh into the choices you make with your own material and others?
Your appearance on Jay Cutler's podcast (GO DORES!) rocketed him to 4-10X the views. Probably they're Vandy season ticket holders but I'm curious how you and Aaron and Brake Job manage the response volume and if it influences your choices/comedy/material.

It is very obvious that Aaron is not used to facing the camera. Aaron's face during the conversation of how Nate came up in comedy is the same face 5 year old me would make when my mom would run into another adult in a mall and have a full on conversation. I would have to be there physically to not get lost but mentally I wanted to play at the WB store.

Good day, Folks! I tune in this lovely Wednesday to see how the boys are doing and to my surprise, when looking straight at my screen, instead of seeing a worried man, I see Aaron, a kind man who has no business behind a computer. I think to myself, it's finally happened, Aaronland has taken over. To my joy, I realize, no, Bart is just taking the episode off due to family reasons (hope everything is ok). I returned to watching, and then at this moment (th-cam.com/video/o1ebMDx0op4/w-d-xo.html), I think, wait a minute, Bart must be haunting the studio and is messing with Nic's mic. I hope all is well and it wasn't the Haunting of Breakfast, but a mic issue. Another great episode, even though I will have to wait another week to see Brian's smiling face. Thanks as always!
