SNL was the best it has been in a while when Nate hosted. It was amazing … felt like old times having a comedian host. The Washington skit was hilarious… I have watched it multiple times.

Same! As of 3 weeks ago I was without warning jobless, homeless, “living” in my 2007 Buick which as of last Friday does not even drive. Broken down in a park and ride, middle of winter in MN (thank you Jesus it’s a very mild one at the moment!) feeling so empty and sad like I’ve never felt before BUT I have my faith and have stayed positive and most of all I literally listen to Nate over and over again and laugh out loud to the point where I worry someone might here me and wonder if something is wrong with me 😂 oh what laughter can do for us, love that he doesn’t use inappropriate or foul language and all of the jokes are about normal everyday life things!! Very few comedians have kept my attention for more than a couple of lines and none, not even one has EVER had the ability to completely captivate me like Nate has 🥰🥰🥰 such a blessing and this mother of his I could just sit and talk to for hours, I just love them!

I am listening to your mom share about your family and their lives. She mentioned a lady, Amy, they met at a play who told them how your comedy routines help her through the night when times are tough. Me, too. I am a missionary in Honduras. Been here for 25 years helping children. Came after Hurricane Mitch and 36 years of teaching in US. I recently found you when looking for clean comedy to lift my spirits when things get heavy here. Thank you for all you are doing for so many of us who need a good laugh at 2 in the morning and all day long. God bless all you do and increase your influence for the kingdom.

She and her husband should be very proud of him and his achievements. I feel the same about watching sports 🫣. Love her energy. Thank you for birthing Nate. He killed SNL. Going to see him in Lexington in May. ❤

I think Nate’s mom and I must be related! I feel exactly the same way, wouldn’t let my kids do certain things in the 80’s too. I love Nate’s sense of humor, reminds me of my own boys.

Nate's speech patterns and mannerisms definitely came from his mom 🧐

I love it that Nate's family loves Jesus and are not into smut. I never had any interest in the smut TV shows or smut comedians. Nate is funny proving good clean relatable comedy just works.

Mrs. Bargatze, I have been so curious about you. "Who is Nat's mom!?!" I bet she's a beautiful soul. ❤
    I was right!
Well done, Nat's mom, well done, by the grace of God. Amen!! 🙏
P.s. sorry about that time you fell in with the 'wrong crowd,' and got a tattoo. Nate was livid, as you know! 😂

I raised my kids in the 80s and 90s also, no simpsons, I didn’t even like smurfs so I might have taken it too far, but I wanted to make sure my kids weren’t exposed to awful things. I homeschooled, after putting them in public school for awhile and saw the writing on the wall so I pulled them out. I think God started a big movement in the 80s opening parents eyes in a big way!

I was really interested in Mrs. Bargatze. I would prefer an interviewer who let's her talk without interrupting or overtalking. But thanks for having her as a guest.

Oh. Is that where the love of Vanderbilt originates? I went there and it’s a wonderful school. I presumed Nate loved it simply because it’s their local school.

Crazy to think, we talk about the important of kindness and being nice and treating people with respect, and we elected someone, and are at risk of electing them again, someone who is the opposite of those things. I wish more people believed in the importance of kindness.

Why would anyone say something to someone who's going to preach about their speech issue? Remember Moses? God still used him in such an amazing way.
