    Who’s Sparky??? Love this show!!!!!! Share away people!!!
    I am leaving to Sicily this coming week and the lentils sound like absolutely delicious! I I rented a place there. So I will be doing a lot of cooking. And of course a lot eating my Sicilian country food in different villages. I am so excited to hopefully getting and harvesting of vines and trees. The freshness of their vegetables and the fruits. I love bitter greens, so I’ll be having a lot of that. I will be making your whole menu. I will absolutely be making this! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

    Looks good! I have heard not to buy canned tomato, because the acids leech chemicals from the can. I don't know if this is true though

      Yes, Dr. Fuhrman says to buy tomatoes in glass jars/bottles. Not easy to find though.

    ???? If using chia seeds, should they also be ground????

    • @madisonsnellings8501
      @madisonsnellings8501 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      As long as the chia seeds are allowed to soak for an hour they won’t have damaging effects.

    • @madisonsnellings8501
      @madisonsnellings8501 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      As you obviously know they multiply in size 10 fold and can have negative effects on digestion. Grinding them would ease in digestion as well.

      Flax seeds are ground bc your gut cannot digest the outer shell of the seed. as far as I know we do not have this problem when digesting chia seeds

    • @madisonsnellings8501
      @madisonsnellings8501 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@nirvana328 from some articles I found
      “without soaking when you eat them, the enzyme inhibitors also will bind to nutrients we need, potentially create nutritional deficiencies, and irritate your digestive system”
      “ if you eat dry chia seeds, without giving them any liquid to absorb before ingesting them, they'll absorb the water within your system and potentially cause a blockage”

    I made the kale dressing recipe using 1 cup of water as irected on this video. The dessing was way to thick so I doubled he watet to 2 cups. The dressing was usable but not pourable and seemd dry on the kale. Did Chef AJ misquote he recipe? I'm wondering if she meant to start with a quart of water rather than a cup?

    I will have to cut this in half since I would be the only to eat it at my house.

    Instant pot question, is this one the 6qt or 8qt? Which size do you you most?
    PS Can’t wait to try this recipe!❤

      You can always make a smaller recipe in a bigger InstantPot, but it doesn't work the other way around.
