I love this! Awesome to have T Colin Campbell in the kitchen!
Smucker's Natural Peanut Butter ingredients peanuts and 1% or less salt - for those of us without a juicer
Aaaaaawsome. So much integrity and care ❤
Love these episodes.. 🤩
do miss the lives this week and the zoomunity 🥰🥰 totally deserve a break @ChefAJ 🤗💚💜
I agree with you about the Instant pot. I was intimidated at first because of ideas I heard about old fashioned pressure cookers. Now that I’ve cooked in it, it’s all I use. I keep telling my children about it. My daughter-in-law bought me one a couple of years ago. Thanks Chef AJ. ❤️
Excellent video!! Thank you!
I saw this clip in its entirety very eye-opening
Loved this episode. Thank you Chef AJ!
Very interesting,,,love both recipes too.... can't wait to try them.....
What a treat!
That was an awesome treat to watch.
The food look so good and it is so great and powerful! The truffles look great and the soup is a wonderful thing.
I have an Instant Pot and I use it every day. I have never had anything turn out badly in it. I just made a vegan mushroom leek risotto last night in it, and it was easy and fast, and it turned out beautifully. My omnivore husband had seconds 😊. It really has changed the way we eat.
Please, share! That sounds divine.
@@suzyq6767 it’s the mushroom risotto Instant pot recipe from Vegan Richa, but instead of the onion, I used one leek. Instead of oil, I used broth and left out the salt. Top it with some nutritional food yeast and black truffle powder, and seriously, one of the best dishes ever!
🌿🌷🌿 Such an important message brought to us by the revered Dr. Campbell along with Chef A.J.

Such a nice time :) thank you for sharing
I love this!
For a little over 25 years I have been plant-based. My dad died at 73 from heart attack. My dad had cholesterol And he's past that genetic down to me. I am 5'4 and 114 lb and for the life of me I still have to take it's only 5 mg but I have to take a statin for my cholesterol. Eating plant base yes has reduced it dramatically but I I can't budget more than five or six total points down. And I know the doctor is talking about that on this episode
Same here. I wish this was talked about more. I know I’m not doing anything wrong but it feels that way because of how clean I eat and run 5 miles a day. Still high cholesterol but just can’t bring myself to take anything yet. Have a bad feeling I will end up on the.
Either Dr. Campbell or Dr. Esselstyn touches on the subject of statins. Sometimes they are necessary and that's all there is to it.

I’m 62 and vegan for 7 years. I’m a woman, 5ft. 2in. My goal weight is 120, my college weight, so slowly losing 20 pounds to get to my goal weight. I gained weight eating a lot of starches as a vegan and my metabolism slowed way down after age 60. I am now high raw high fruit for about 9 months. But I’ve always had perfect blood work. I don’t take any medications. I wonder if you would try to do a high raw high fruit diet you might be able to lower your cholesterol naturally that way. My parents and grandparents all had high blood pressure and arteriosclerosis. My father had 8 strokes and died age 78. My mother had congestive heart failure and died age 80 from complications from open heart surgery. My grandmother suffered TIAs and died age 92. My grandfathers passed from heart attacks. None were overweight. They all ate animal products, though, at every meal. I eat high raw high fruit weekdays. Then on the weekends I eat cooked food. Try eating salads and fruit and smoothies, and plant-based yogurt for a few weeks but no cooked food. Then add in cooked foods on the weekends gradually.
Bringing in the Big Guns!
Loved this episode with Dr. Campbell. I regularly use my Instant Pot to make soy yogurt from Edensoy plain organic soymilk and some yogurt saved from the last batch as starter. If I don’t have any saved I get a small container of Forager plain cashew yogurt and use that as the starter. Turns out great every time.
The sounds terrific. Is there a specific recipe to follow to make the yogurt? Please and thank you.
Lile the episode 👍🏼
Greetings to all!
I have an instant pot but not used it yet, it intimidates me.
It's not difficult at all...just jump in and try it!
@@CHEFAJHI chef AJ. Please what is the exact discount code. I appreciate you!
@@terrybartick1754 Which discount code are you referring to? 😞
Is this an old episode ? Chef AJ has been using powdered vanilla for a long time and the movie was from 2015.
yes it is
Well, she kind of gave it away when she said "when my book came out 4 years ago," which was 2012, so this has to have been 2016 for the video, I think.
Which model of Champion Juicer are you using?
Where can I get the recipes especially the soup for stew made with yellow split peas and squash
Hi Nancy,
I think Dr. Campbell said that recipe for the split pea and squash soup is from That China Study Allstar cookbook. I love your name, Nancy was my mother's name. I wish you good health and happiness, good luck with lowering your cholesterol too.
