    I received my 900 Breville yesterday. I am so thrilled. I baked 2 sweet potatoes and two yellow potatoes. Today I’m going to air fry them. I know I’m going to eat more potatoes now that I have a Breville! Mouth watering video! Thank you.

    Two of my favorite plant based influencers. Chef AJ was who got me started when I was looking for a diet to lose weight. I then got on to Dr. McDougall and all the others she mentioned. Later I somehow found some of Dillon’s videos. Everything just made sense and I have now been plant based for three years. You two are so interesting and funny. I love to eat and, being from Idaho, I love my taters.

    Thank you, Chef AJ. I purchased a combination convection oven toaster oven air fryer for my art studio. And I didn’t get very many instructions with it so these are great tips. I haven’t done much air frying and I’m excited to try some of your ideas! Thank you for keeping me inspired to eat whole food plant-based oil free!

    I’m so excited to try these. Just starting my transition to this lifestyle and I’m a “saucy” girl so I know these will be huge for me as I learn to enjoy more veggies. I look at these as guilt free, in other words if I go heavy on the sauce I will no longer have the guilt, YAY! Thanks for the product reviews. Very helpful.

    Breville has so many different reiterations of that countertop design. I was SO confused when I first saw them. The model that AJ has is the most expensive one. It typically retails for $400. It has air fry, dehydrate and slow cook possibilities that the others lack. So beware - if you see one that costs less, make SURE it’s the Breville Smart AIR.

    • @Just-a-girl
      @Just-a-girl 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      We have the air in Australia. The 900 has it all. We can only get the 650. It doesn’t have defrost or proof..

    The crunching of the airfries! Ahhh! They looked so good! I have 5 people in my family though. It would still take me forever to make enough fries.

    • @amberoscarguerrero9053
      @amberoscarguerrero9053 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I bake sheet fulls of them in my regular oven and finish in batches in the air fryer - they need only around five minutes for the final super crisp up. My mom used to make homemade (oil-fried) fries and she used to pre-cook and then fire off batches. May be too much hassle for some but works for us!

    I was curious about 2 things:
    First, of course there is no acrylamite poisoning, because acrylamite was suppose to cause cancer, not poisoing. That is what they told us a few years ago anyway, and cancer is certainly seen in hospitals. Funny, that nowadays they have forgotten all about this warning. I still bake everything below 200° Celsius, just in case.
    Secondly:
    I have studied 7 semester dietetics. Our professor always told us, and you can also see it in the charts, that potatoes do have almost no fiber and therefore are not as filling as other starches! So, when it comes to satiety, potatoes are short lived. Brown rice and other whole grains are much more filling, due to their high fiber content.
    Huggs from Germany.

    It’s funny you say breville won’t even answer your emails. I want one of these air friers but am hesitant to get one because many of the reviews aren’t that great and a BIG complaint is breville’s almost non existent customer service. I’m on a super tight budget and so if I’m going to purchase something of this cost I expect it to last a very long time, but many reviews claim this thing didn’t even last a year and when they can get breville to respond to them say they are not very helpful at all.
