- Clutch break in period complete. Is there chatter?
Performance clutch and pressure plate with stock dual mass flywheel. I did NOT want a clutch with a single mass flywheel because of the noise

Looking good bro! I can’t wait to do mine when I’m done with ball and have a steady job haha.
I can't wait for that brother. We will reunite soon!
Here in the UK I’m about to replace the clutch this weekend myself (DW I’m a mechanic 😅) on my MK7 Golf R, really looking forward to a clutch that doesn’t slip at stock power!
Good luck! Can’t believe it slips at stock powrr
I have a MK8R and recently did the APR Plus low torque tune to save the factory clutch for a little before upgrading. I was looking into this clutch. How do you like it? Can it take a ripping and dumping the clutch?!
did stiffness issue resolved ?
Yes, feels almost OEM now!
@@DrivenByChris How long did it take for it to soften? I have a sachs performance in 7R but it is quite hard.
In the idle u hear little chattering? Specially when car at operating temperature and you release the clutch ?
You think any of the Jetta parts would fit my 1.4t golf tsi? Trynna do a build
Most of them won’t unfortunately
I just installed a Sach replacement in my 2010 Audi a3 and have driven about 800 kms. I find it heavier than I would like. Would it soften up after broken in?
Mine did!
Which sachs clutch kit is this? I did the TTRS clutch and pressure plate, with new SACHS DMF. Supposedly rated for 400ft lbs tq. I'm on IE stage 2 low torque and under spec, 325+/- hp and 343tq, and it didnt last an oil change. Did the 500+ miles no downshifts to slow down, neutral braking only. Harder pulls over 3500rpm 3rd and 4th and theough the gears on the highway. Slipping since then. Been out twice and its the clutch disk not holding.
I’m honestly not sure which it is. I got it off of ECSTUNING. I left the oem dual mass fly wheel and put in this Sachs clutch which is also rated for 400tq. I think I linked some more info in the description
Did you try to warranty it?
@DrivenByChris I also said fuck it and went with a ringer racing stage 4 setup. Technically a clutch master part just built specifically for ringer racing.
“Uh muh god” “uh muh god” “uh muh god”
how many miles after tune did the stock clutch last you?
yo bro ive hade my car for about one year and now getting signs of my stock clutch getting bad so ill say about a year's time
Are u worried about crank walk?
No, not at all with this clutch.
Head to gym and do leg workouts
No amount of leg workouts will help, trust me
