I’m doing mine right now. The tank won’t come out because it “welded” itself to the body. There are 4 rubber pieces on the 4 corners of the tank and sometimes they weld themselves to the body and the tank. If you have to change this, save yourself some grief and cut an access hole in the floor. It works like a charm. There are videos on this on TH-cam. I know this sounds crazy but it works. I did it. Just be careful. The vid shows exactly where to cut and everything else you need to know.

Mine had that problem doesn’t sound as bad as yours tho lol. I just got a pry bar and pulled it down.
