This is a fantastic video. Real world job done on the ground. Thank you for just being a real guy doing the work vs. some guy in a shop with a lift and expensive trans jack.
This one if the most detailed video I ever seen. I got this exact same truck Super Great video. Great job showing different in cheaper pumps versus quality pumps.
Man… mechanic replaced mine last year with a gm/ac delco fuel pump mu1777. Mine took a crap today. Going to replace it this week, good thing Good thing I have warranty with AutoZone.

You can find many at the scrap yard. Here is a link for a new one that's currently on sale. www.carparts.com/details/Chevrolet/C3500HD/Dorman/Fuel_Tank/1999/RB576341.html?TID=gglpla&origin=pla&gclsrc=aw.ds&gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAADjOeBiXf2XEHqanOn8TDfI8Sfixt&gclid=CjwKCAiApsm7BhBZEiwAvIu2X4yemVy8r4jKwguXKV9tyj0yTY0IvyNZcDGj8gzocyai801VHqSCdBoCFd8QAvD_BwE
It's an SUV based on a truck frame so it's basically identical to most trucks whereas parts are interchangeable. Can you please send me your truck engine size and the year. I can help you find something.

What kind of bat symptoms do you have to change the fuel pump and you case I have a similar car the car well star but will die on me and only will start back on when it's cold
Good Job Sir..! I Wonder Though...Do You think it would Have Been Quicker, Easier... To just Cut an Access Door in the Rear Seat Floor...to R&R the Pump...? Although... You Do have All of the Necessary Tools and Equipment to Getterdone...!! My 2000 Yukon Xl has A Pump with the " Fuel Pressure Sensor " on the Fuel Pump Top Plate, I am Pretty Sure. I have the Check Engine Light on the Dash While Driving for the Tank Sensor...the Fuel pump works Pretty Good, But the Fuel Gauge / " Float " is a Nightmare at Times... Just Not Accurate... Pretty Much - Iffy - at Times... I'm Thinking of Cutting the Floorboard...and Replacing the Pump and Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor / that Should Come Together, as a Set. I like the Way You Work Safely...!! BillinL.A. 11-07-21
Hi William, it would be much quicker to cut an access panel although it is something that I would never do or recommend. I will be doing a fuel pressure sensor on a 2007 suburban this week as well. I am going to lower the tank just enough to remove that pressure sensor. Whichever way you decide to do it, just be safe and I wish I were there to help, free of charge. Thank you SO much for watching!
@@TerenceDIY Thanks for the Quick Response Terence.... I think Probably the Connector pins are Corroded , on the Plug...most Likely.... But I plan to buy a New Tank Sensor , For Sure....Hopefully that will Get Rid of the 0452 code/ Yellow Light on the Dash, So I can Get it Smogged....and Registered, New Tags. I will be Checking / Cleaning all of My Chassis Grounds , Due to the ABS & BRAKE light comes on when I Drive, at any Given Time or Miles Driven.... Thanks for the Videos....!! BillinL.A. 11-08-21.

Thank you SO much and thanks for watching.
I've done this project with my Dad Twice
Both times the hardest part has been putting the tank back up
Really liked your segment about the differences about the pumps, good video, thank you.
Great video. Especially comparing the pumps. I was going to slap a cheap $50 pump but this video convinced me to go oem. Thanks.
Yes, please go OEM. It's too much labor involved to be using a cheap brand. Thank you so much for watching.
Great vid- Thanks for showing the difference on the pumps
Thank you and thanks for watching!
What are th two sizes of tool to disconnect the fuel lines ?
Hi, I believe it was the 1/2" and 5/8". Sorry for not showing that.
Great video Brother!!
Thank you very much and thanks for watching.

Yes that would work but my tank has the back of the tank where it fills at and it's a Chevy Tahoe SUV not a truck @@TerenceDIY
The Tahoe is a truck not an SUV. Please send me the year and engine of your truck. Thanks,

It sounds like you have a bad fuel pump. That's normal behavior when they go bad. Thank you for watching.

😂
So myou make the video. And dint even show the removal? Cmon dude
I am not sure what did you watch but I showed everything. Please tell me what I did not show?
@Terence The DIY'er you didn't even show the removal. Rewards your video. First it's hanging. Then it's down. You didn't show it at all
You could have cut a hole above the back seat and just dropped it in
Never chew gum again recording a video
I apologize. Thanks for watching.
