1:27 The guy you recognized with the blonde short hair was Sam played by actor Robin Lord Taylor He was in that episode in Season 4 where Rick and Carol were out scavenging hence why Carol found the watch that Rick gave to Sam He was also the Penguin on Gotham To celebrate his casting the show runners offered him a wrap of his TWD character They flew him out for one day dyed his hair got him in costume and walked him on set and then killed off his character and drained his blood All in a days work.
I love the reunion of Rick Carl and Judith but I also love the reunion of Tyreese and Sasha part of the reason she didn’t want to go to Terminus is because she didn’t want to deal with the fact that he might not be there that he probably didn’t make it seeing him with Judith then seeing her take off running behind Rick her crying tears of joy as she gets a big bear hug from her big brother always gets me misty eyed I love their dynamic even just the little bits we’ve gotten of them so far.
Fun Fact for you about this episode when they shot the scene where part of the group was getting killed in order to become food the main cast was not told that the other actors would bleed that much so that producers could get genuine disgust and panic reactions from Glenn Rick and Daryl ;)
GREAT reaction. This has got to be "one of the best", if not arguably by many thee best, episodes of TWD, brought me to tears. It had me on the edge of my seat wondering how they were going to get out of this one, but when you looked at what happened inside the shipping container marked 'A' with our group in, there was no time for crying, giving up, or letting fear take over, everyone down to Carl was making a weapon out of anything they could find and down to their zips and shoe laces, we were ready for war or to fight to the death if necessary. DON'T MESS WITH CAROL, I'm glad she left that woman 'Mary' for the walkers, she deserved that. If it wasn't for her, goodness knows what would have happened. Even poor little Judith knew when that guy had that knife near her when you could hear a lit of banging and slamming outside of the barn, she stayed quiet because she knew what time it was and she knew her Uncle Tyrese was coming back in that cabin for her and was going to teach that guy a lesson. Loved how Rick hugged Carol and asking if she did that, then the way Daryl ran to her and picked her up off her feet and cried and hugged her made me weep then just when I think I've done crying comes more tears when they follow Carol and Rick & Carl sprint towards Tyrese and grab Judith and hug and kiss her. My goodness I must was drenched in emotional and happy tears.😭🥰😍 FUN FACT: The producers/directors didn't tell our group what was going to happen when they were on their knees in front of that trough where those men were knocking them out with the baseball bat then slitting their throats to drain out their blood so that scene was apparently their genuine reaction - they were really scared! Loved the closing scene with all our group (13 of us, Judith makes 14) walking down the train tracks away from 'Terminus' and Rick smudging out the sign changing it to "NO SANCTUARY".👌🏽
I always thought Merle was killed off too early and that it would’ve been SO impactful if he had been in the line up with Rick Glenn Daryl And Bob and was the last one killed before shit hit the fan.
Comic Comparisons : The current arc mirrors an arc in the comic named Fear The Hunters Terminus as a place doesn’t exist but the people do Instead it’s just a traveling group of cannibal bandits who kidnap people and eat them It’s nowhere near as organized as in the show.
Daryl and Rick hugging Carol always melts my heart.
