Rick's group never respected that about him because of the hope he took from them all. I love that scene when Rick tells Negan he's gonna kill him eventually no matter what, it just show that Negan didn't completely break Rick and you could see geuine fear and anger in Negan's eyes, incredible acting from both.

Comic Comparisons : Okay I know I’m hella behind but let’s catch up. 7x9 Rick does meet Ezekiel but their discussion goes much different Ezekiel is completely on board from the jump not even hesitating to join Rick’s rebellion The junkyard people (Scavengers) don’t exist in the comics. 7x10 Completely unique to the show The Scavengers don’t exist in the comics. 7x11 Completely unique to the show In the comics Negan doesn’t take Eugene or anybody else back to the Sanctuary. 7x12 Completely unique to the show In the comics Rick and Michonne aren’t in a relationship Rather it’s Rick and Andrea. So far this second half of this Season has been a fresh experience for both comic readers and show watchers alike and this episode is no exception Trading between the Saviors and the Kingdom is never shown on screen Benjamin doesn’t exist in the comics Richard does die in the comics but not until the war actually pops off The rest of this episode is unique to the show This is one of the best episodes of Season 7 seeing Morgan’s descent into his old ways was incredible. Also nobody from the Kingdom stepped in because Gavin told them to leave them be.
