It’s not that Tyresse isn’t smart, he’s scared of himself. He knows what he can be like if he gets too out of control with his anger, and he’s scared that he won’t be able to hold back. His feelings are completely valid.
Tyreese is kinda slow though 😂

I really liked his character had so much emotion and complexity to him but very sad story arc all in all :( loved that he became a protector for the kids and then Judith. Kind of gave Tyreese the most important role of them all and the biggest test too, he battled not only against the undead but also against himself, with all of this in mind he had to do the hardest thing of all, forgive the one who killed your family.
@@thefocalcode I agree, everyone meets Tyresse and just assumed he’s gonna be this beast of a man, but he’s really a gentle giant. He CAN be a beast and he doesn’t like that side of himself, which unfortunately just doesn’t really work in this type of world
Fun Fact for you about this episode when they shot the scene where part of the group was getting killed in order to become food the main cast was not told that the other actors would bleed that much so that producers could get genuine disgust and panic reactions from Glenn Rick and Daryl ;)
I love the reunion of Rick Carl and Judith but I also love the reunion of Tyreese and Sasha part of the reason she didn’t want to go to Terminus is because she didn’t want to deal with the fact that he might not be there that he probably didn’t make it seeing him with Judith then seeing her take off running behind Rick her crying tears of joy as she gets a big bear hug from her big brother always gets me misty eyed I love their dynamic even just the little bits we’ve gotten of them so far.
The Old lady Mom from Terminus that Carol shot in the leg played the Mom in the Original Pet Semetery. Carol is like fine wine, she only gets better with age. When you see Carol dressed up like a soccer Mom, you.ll see just how smart she is.
Every time I see these Brothers come out with a new episode I get hyped, these are my niggas right here.

the fact that our gang just took out that whole place and technically all thanks to Carol. Without her everyone would've been fucked. This was also the episode for me where she became one of my favorite characters period
Carol used to be a good asset but later on she just became a liability to others. She’s a character that needs to be in her own but doesn’t want to at the same time.

1:36 The guy you recognized with the blonde short hair was Sam played by actor Robin Lord Taylor He was in that episode in Season 4 where Rick and Carol were out scavenging hence why Carol found the watch that Rick gave to Sam He was also the Penguin on Gotham To celebrate his casting the show runners offered him a wrap of his TWD character They flew him out for one day dyed his hair got him in costume and walked him on set and then killed off his character and drained his blood All in a days work.

I dunno I feel like the more the show went on the more Carol became this weird liability even though she’s a strong character. In a way she became a very selfish person who can’t see past her own revenge and wants.

Comic Comparisons : The current arc mirrors an arc in the comic named Fear The Hunters Terminus as a place doesn’t exist but the people do Instead it’s just a traveling group of cannibal bandits who kidnap people and eat them It’s nowhere near as organized as in the show.

I always thought Merle was killed off too early and that it would’ve been SO impactful if he had been in the line up with Rick Glenn Daryl And Bob and was the last one killed before shit hit the fan.

GREAT REACTION GUYS, Season 5 is fire,🔥 this is one of my most favourite episodes in TWD.
"No Sanctuary" 5x1 was the most highly watched season opener episode with 17.29 million viewers and most watched of all time. The episode is considered by critics and audiences to be one of the show's best including the performances by the lead cast.
LOL,😂 I actually thought it was great acting by that baby playing Judith (even though unintentional as she's only a baby), when she went very quiet before Ty' burst back in the shed and took Martin down, it was almost like she knew what was about to happen with her Uncle Ty'. That was a good shot from above looking down seeing what he did to the walkers, Ty's a beast when and if he let's that side of him out.
The first to be slaughtered is Sam - the young man Rick and Carol met on a supply run where she helped him with his dislocated shoulder before Carol's exile. Our guys lined up in front of that trough like animals to the slaughter was frightening and very disturbing to be honest, then when it was going to be Glenn's turn, my anxiety was through the roof and the acting was phenomenal seeing that panic in them, they were scared, especially Glenn & Daryl that panic and look of worry and their chests frantically moving up and down, I remember it had me on the edge of my seat panicking thinking how are they going to get out of this, then I saw Rick trying to cut through what looked like plastic cable zip ties and thought "YESSS, COME ON RICK, HURRY". Phew Glenn cane sooo close "yet again".
I don't think Ty' is stupid, I think he's just afraid of what he's capable off and his anger getting out of control so is afraid of himself and what he could do as he's a BIG strong guy, but you're right AJ he should have made sure Judith was next to him keeping his eyes on her at all times, but I guess the writers Scott Gimple and Director Greg Nicotero thought that's no fun for this episode so decided to make it more tense and throw a problematic scenario in there.
I loved how our group don't cry and give up, always have each others backs and willing to fight to the death if necessary.
CAROL WAS AMAZING,🔥🎆 single-handedly saved everyone and quickly used the old blood and guts trick and so glad she left Mary for the walkers.🏆🏆🏆
That part was amazing where Rick gunned them down the Terminus crew from behind then quickly swings around to check his back that the Terminus lot weren't behind him.
Abraham is a soldier through and through, he protected everyone in the train car shouting "MOVE" when he recognised the tear gas that caught them off guard. Then as they leave at the end he's the last man over the fence, making sure everyone gets out before himself.
In the woods where Rick was digging up the spare guns and hatchet with the red handle that he buried there and Rick says we need to go back and make sure they're all dead - I agreed with him, but I remember crying at that scene when Daryl sees Carol and runs to her and hugs her crying and picking her up 😭 as its the first time he's seen her since Rick exiled her, then Rick hugs her asking "did you do that...".😢 Then when I think I'm done with the tears they get me crying again when we have the Ty' & Sasha reunion and when Rick & Carl see Ty' with Judith and they run to her hugging her and the way Rick and Ty' grab each others shoulders, no words needed, it was almost like one was saying "Thank you brother, I'm so grateful" and the other saying "...No need to thank me bro', it's OK, I've got you...ALWAYS".😢😊🥰
Love when Rick smudged out the sign changing it to "NO Sanctuary" and loved the end credit, loved that you remembered AJ and did a rewind and let us see your reactions, LOVED😆 your excitement guys on seeing Morgan.

FUN FACTS:
Rick, Daryl, Glenn & Bob weren't told anything about that scene in front of the trough whilst on their knees with their legs tied and their arms tied behind their backs because the Director wanted to see genuine panic and fear in them.
Martin in the shed who with the scenes of his hands around Judith's neck was so afraid he was going to hurt the baby they got her real dad to step in so it was his hands we see around her neck and head.
after season 3 you realise that shane’s mindset was right no debate and shane wanted people to see that

The guy in the shipping container, that Glenn let’s out after they escape the blood trough, is one of the group who took Terminus from the Termites that were trying to make it a sanctuary, when the Termites retook Terminus, they locked him in there.
Even though I truly believe the strongest course of survival is keeping one’s morals, which in my opinion, is the strongest key to survival, yet still be able to decide when someone is so morally corrupt and are a danger to anyone they lure in or come across, should be killed, I absolutely agreed with Rick wanting to put an end to the rest of the Termites after what happened with the Guv’na, 😏👍
In my personal opinion, Tyrese should never have had Judith in the middle of the two of them, she should have been over to the side, near Tyrese, 😏
My biggest ‘what the h***’ moment was why in the world did they not tie the guys hands behind his back and his feet should have been tied, 🤔🤨

One of the best episodes of the series. Love it, but it will never beat NO WAY OUT. Everyone stepped up, Carol the mvp, and Rick was amazing. They should've listened to him in the end, tho. The best moments of the episodes were Rick, Carl, and Michonne reunited with Judith and Tyreese and Sasha hugging. Can't wait to see you guys react to the best group of characters in the whole series. Season 5 has the A team, especially with Morgan back.
Also, give my man Tyreese a break. He took those two little girls dying hard. While it took Carol into a cold hearted direction it took Tyreese the opposite. We can't choose how other people grieve.
