Viva performance is one of the best sites for volvoparts. I can find parts there that I can’t get from Volvo in Sweden. Really impressed with their products.
Because of you, I finally found and bought a 2005 V70R. It's garbage, but I love it. It needs so much work done, but watching your videos have inspired me to invest the money into the car and get it back to its former glory.

Sold my M2 because I now know I like old cars more and because of my 2 dogs. Thought about buying a good E34 540i Touring when I find one. Now, after watching your Video, the V70R is also in the box. Great car. ✌️
Those wheels are amazing, they hide the Brembo calipers perfectly!
These rims are every nice. But somehow, I still prefers the Pegs or Titan on Volvos. Gun metal or silver.

Installed my new Swede Speed Air Filter this morning (red) in my 2005 V70R 6-Speed. I can both feel and hear an appreciable difference in pull, especially when set to the "Comfort" mode. The "Advanced" setting is very very responsive with the new filter and allowing more air in.

Looks sweet Gregson! Viva has helped me also in a big way for my P2 V70R! They supplied me with a single mass flywheel which is half the weight & more efficient grab to say the least!

Regarding Roof Rails. I had them on my 2002 V70 in the UK when i bought it in 2014. Over here in the US, I got my next v70 (2004) last February and it didn't have them on (Though it did have the very expensive headlights), and to me it looked wrong. So I went along to the local Volvo dismantlers and got a clean pair and fittings, and it looks as it should now.

The real question especially for true R owners is... Do they rub or should I say how bad do they rub because as we all know these cars turn like a tank as it is and to limit that even more could be a real PITA! Love the car and the channel! Our shop car is a 04 S60R sitting at around 480WHP and George over a VIVA is amazing!

I bought some nice rims that look just like those but in black 225 18 size.
I put them on v70 xc gen 1 amd can't wait till i put them on man.
Because now i have 16 size and now i put a 18 .big difference.yours looks very cool.greeting from poland

They look like the Volvo Medusa alloy wheels from the V50s, they were 18 or 17" though, not 19s.

I put 16 inch Andromeda (900/S90 V90) on my 05 S60. Wheels certainly make a difference.
I have those same tires on my 06 9-3 Aero, and 12 VW Golf R! Tires seem to be holding up really well!
Am I the only one who greatly enjoys this video in terms of visuals but is annoyed by the amount of loud, quick and repetitive talking ('it looks SO GOOD')? There is no rest, not for one second in this video. Sometimes you gotta let the car be and speak for itself

Wow! Those wheels really set off the rest of the car. Love them. The fitment is on point too. Seeing this makes me want to pick up some better wheels for my V50 (the fitment is atrocious on the factory 16s).

Ordered my Swedesource filter last week, very interested to test it first hand here in the UK when it lands. Looking good buddy, personally, I'm a big fan of the 18" pegs but it's all taste/preference

VLA is like my old factory Volvo wheels on my S60, were flow formed and VERY expensive to replace. Had one bent that I had to fix instead

No no no no you are wrong the painted trim started late 2004, plus the new headlights and taillights (the R only got the taillights), new front and rear bumpers (yet again the R only got the rear) and 2005 got the headlight washers inside of the wipers.
Here in the US we lagged a bit on the model years. 2004 had plastic trim. 2005+ had body color.

Hakkapelitta makes the best winter tires there is (makes sense from the climate in Finland), have not tried their summer part, but not expecting them to be able to compete as good in summer conditions.

i tried few times petrol volvo its okay But DIESEL ones are better torque is awesome and fuel efficiency is also great .
How low is it ?, front and back ?

Looks are only half the story. Part 2, what's more important ride or looks? Also how do the weights of the wheels compare? Car feels slower to accelerate with the 19's? Guesses on how many miles before you bend a wheel?

Are you going to do a roof rack delete? My v70 doesn't have roof racks and I've got the same rims and colour as yours. Its soooooo clean without roof racks!
Plan on it yes! My friend is holding some trim pieces for me in Maryland, but can’t get them due to pandemic. Hopefully this summer.

I hated the R wheels and white mirrors.
Personally I have never liked 5 spokes on Volvos... Don't suit the shape at all.
But fair play 👍🏻 car looks sweet now.
I've had the same wheels in 8.5 x19 and gunmetal finish on my grey V70 for over a Yr now and get a lot of comments on how good it looks... With the volvo Centre caps (mine are period correct ones) people think they are standard as they suit the car so well., 👌
BC coilovers to....mine is a lot lower than yours which makes the wheels look even better on the car.
Camber adjustable top mounts are essential if going low on these though.
Awesome wheels!! Wish I could run 19s, but the roads in UK are just not smooth enough 🤬 Ferrari (5x108) BBS split rims are always a good option too 😉!
My personal suggestion would be to consider a different center cap, as the silver on silver doesn't give much contrast. Moose's on yellow would look ace against the dark blue bodywork (that's only my opinion of course). Think about the colour of the caps / calipers / bodywork to get the perfect harmony?

I agree on centre caps 👍🏻And the fact the roads are in a terrible state.
But 19s are fine in UK.
I have a V70 with 8.5 x19 and the ride is no harsher than 17s or 18s..
It's also now slammed but again with decent coilovers it's not much harder.
I've actually had people comment on how smooth it is.
Drive a BMW M and you'll know what harsh is.

I really should have expressed my words better, I meant that (around me at least), potholes and speed humps are rife (S60R on std, recently renewed 4C shocks with eibachs), so the 18" pegs leave just enough wall thickness to cope. I agree the ride itself is fine, even with polys and bars, I'd be happy to slap 19s on if it weren't for the 'oles'n'bumps.
My p80 R with KW coils on the other hand... 19s would be awful 🤕

Honestly not any worse than the 18” pegs with winter tires.

Being replaced today actually! And that thing isn't flimsy at all. Steel and screwed into the tow hitch.

About as good as you can expect from 235/35/19s lol. harsher, but very bearable.

@@MrEdoorklep Magic blue is zover ik weet nooit geleverd op de S60/V70. Wel op het model vanaf 2010. Als je de motorkap open doet zie je rechts op het schutbord een plaatje. Daar staat waarschijnlijk 0452.
