      The problem in this country is the anonymity of the Internet. "People" have the ability to say things to others that wouldn't dare say in person for fear of getting their asses handed to them. They are cowardly, spineless pukes who hide under the Internet "rock" and pray to God no one ever finds out who they are.

I'm truly honored but honestly, I can no longer keep up with the questions. Please look for answers in the comments, online, or in the FAQs on my website (www.JennyCanCook.com). Hi Jenny. I liked the result of this recipe. Instead of cooking for 3 minutes on the stovetop. I placed the pizza on the bottom rack of my oven for about 3 1/2 minutes. Then I moved the pizza to the middle rack for the remainder of the time. Came out great!

    Made this, but with a Whole Wheat crust, using the same proportions that Jenny uses in her Whole Wheat no-knead bread. 1 cup WW flour, 1/2 cup Bread flour. Also, same as Jenny does for WW bread, 1 tsp yeast instead of 1/4 tsp. Cooked it for 14 minutes in a 550 degree convection oven. The crust turned out perfectly. Thank you for the great recipes Jenny!

      I also cook my vegetables because I want to be sure the vegetables are not very raw when we eat the pizza. but I never thought about sitting them on a paper towel to get the moisture out. I’ve added fat free ground venison but always add the turkey pepperoni.

      @mimiashford5544 4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      @@glasslinger oooh, that's such a good idea...I like them crunchy too, but always sautéed them before putting on raw dough bc I didn't want it gummy underneath them when they released their water. I think waiting til the dough is almost cooked is a wonderful idea to keep veggies fresh & crispy! Thanks for the tip!

I don't put food in the microwave so I just did a quick 3-4 min stir fry my veggies then did the paper towel trick to get the excess water out. We just finished making and eating this fantastic pizza recipe. Being in New England we used the top of our wood stove that heats the house to do the 3 minute pre-cook of the cast iron skillet. Worked perfect, top of stove was 700°F and the bottom of the crust was nicely browned after coming out of the 550°F electric oven! This will now be our “go to” recipe for all our pizzas!!! Thanks Jenny for a great video! 👍👍👍😎🇺🇸🥰

    Hi Jenny. I never watched your talk show when it was on, but I truly believe this is your calling. My husband is the cook in our family, and he's made the bread from your youtube site (the one in the Dutch oven--we had to buy one as we didn't own one). It's the best bread! Looking forward to him making this pizza as well. Will have to spring for a cast iron skillet first. Ha ha!

    I've never made a scratch pizza in my life...until now. I used Jenny's quick method and substituted whole wheat pastry flour for an even healthier crust. The only other difference was my oven was set to about 475F. It turned out literally perfect. Crispy, crunchy crust on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside. I made mine in a slightly larger pan and it was too much for me but I ate it anyway, weighing in at about 1300 calories all in. A slightly smaller pan and about 2/3 the size of pizza would be perfect for me. I have a tiny skillet that's about 6" across and I'm going to make a mini-pizza at about 1/3 the size soon. I used lean turkey sausage and some smoked salmon along with 'shrooms, sauteed onions, my own sauce and about 70g of mozz, topped off with a couple of spoons of parm. Incredible. Next time I'm going to use a combination of whole grain spelt, whole wheat pastry and about 1/4 cup of pea protein.
    I love it. Can't wait to impress my friends, relatives and significant other with it! Thanks Jenny!!

    I just made this. It was so easy and delicious. I didn't add any toppings besides extra cheese. I put the dough in a warm oven because our house is usually cold and no dough rises until summertime. I skipped the stove top and oven because it made no sense to use that much energy. I just added some cornmeal to the bottom of the cast iron before putting the dough in it. I preheated a regular gas grill to 425 degrees and put the cast iron containing the pizza on it. I rotated the cast iron 180 degrees once after 9 minutes and let it cook another 9 minutes. So the total cook time was 18 minutes on the grill. It was perfect. I also made stuffed crust pizza. It was a little messy to get the dough to fold over the cheese but after a bit of fussing, it worked. I used a spatula with a little olive oil to lift the sides and fold them over. It was easier and cleaner. I just filled any holes in the crust with some dough from the edge. Again I only used extra cheese and sauce. It was outstanding. The dough didn't burn as I was worried. I used the same temperature grill and about 10 minutes and turned the skillet and grilled for another 10 minutes.

    Thank you so much for posting so many videos on food. I am in quarantine alone in my little cottage. I bought a ton of basic staple foods and am re-learning how to do the things my grandmother showed me when I was a child but now at 60 can't remember. I baked bread for the first time in over 50 years thanks to one of your recipeS and I will NEVER buy a loaf of bread again. THANK-YOU! THANK-YOU! THANK-YOU! :)

    I made this last night, and it worked out extremely well albeit I did try to mess it up by burning the bottom a touch and setting off the smoke alarm. The dough was fantastic! Crisp on the bottom with a lovely light bread texture, in spite of the extra toppings I loaded it down with.
    Thanks for sharing!

    Hello from Scandinavia! Jenny dear, I have tips for you and to the rest of the world:
    After you add the yeast to the flour, mix it with a whisk and wait 10 min. then add water and do the rest...That's the tip: wait 10 min. The dough will never be the same.
    Why this? Your 12-18 hours waiting, miraculously are gonna be just 3 hours.
    Believe me I have a PMD 'Pizza Master Degree' Ciao amore!

      @@Trickroaduhhh, well, sorry, millions would disagree with u. pizza is an American staple and going thru alll these steps instead of poppin in a family fav like digiorno or red barron is well, just unamerican. besides even if those are not to your liking little ceasars is in most cities and they have a great $5.00 pepperoni pizza that is just awesome!! and pizza hut has a $5.99 all you can eat pizza bar that is outta this world!!! homemade can never be sooo inexpensive as any of these and yet sooo delicious!!
