Such a great tutorial. I never thought in a million years I’d be able to do this shuffle but after a very small amount of practice (half an hour) I can now do it every time. Thanks for sharing your skills with the world! 😎👍
Thanks for this tutorial! I am an adult but I have physical difficulties with my hands and have never been able to really shuffle cards. And I love card games! Now thanks to this lesson I can finally shuffle my own decks properly.
Being a playing card collector and casino chip collector, as a kid, I've seen my Lolo do this so smooth. I'd try and emulate him but he does it like a pro dealer in a casino. Even trying to learn from this guy still takes a lot of practice.
I've seen the squaring action done slightly differently and, I think, a bit more cleanly and reliably. The two halves are brought closer together while still in their angled "v" (closer than you bring them) until the the entire deck can be squared by pulling inward from the edge facing away from you.
I just can't riffle them like that. I can riffle them normally, a normal in-the-hands-shuffle (without table) but I cannot do it on a table. The pressure is just way too great and it just ends up creating a really non-smooth motion. Do you have any tips, Asad?
don't do it like this dude is doing... cup your hands like an oven mitten with just your thumbs separated and secure the cards with your rest of your four fingers, and riffle with using your thumbs on having the cards shaped like a diamond V.
Do you have to "lock down" the cards somehow? Whenever I do it, often the cards start "slipping" and falling out instead of falling into the same place. Do you lift the piles completely off the table, or do you let the back edge rest on the surface?
+Wilky I had this problem too. Look at his other 3 fingers, they are pressing down the outer-back corner of each pile. That helps keep them in place. He didn't really explain that part.
aditsu Well, he explains most of it. I was putting way too much pressure while riffling, so they flung in every direction, also doing it on a clean and slippery surface is way harder than I originally thought. After practicing for a few days on a mat or piece of cloth, I can now do it consistently on a regular surface as well. Was pretty much just me not doing it properly.
Great Tutorial Asad, Always nice to check in and watch a few videos while practicing. I actually linked this vid in another I watched for anyone looking for some great tutorials. I hope you're having a great weekend.
I'm trying just now, but seems that my hands are bigger than yours (and many other tutorials around). Should I try bigger sized cards? Or stick with regular playing cards?
When I shuffle the two packets together there is a tendency for the uppermost cards of each packet to "miss" the interlacing and therefore not get shuffled. Any ideas as to what I am doing wrong?
Im going to buy a few card decks, i have been practicing every day for 3 month, what would you recomend in terms of tossing and doing the tricks that you do here on the channel? (or if anyone in the comments knows about this sorts of things). btw i live in sweden
Great tutorial Asad. Might I make a suggestion? Since you got the table riffle down maybe you could do a tutorial in adding, after the riffle a table bridging of the cards to end the that shuffle. I believe most people call it bridging the cards. Its easier for me to bridge the cards in my hands but i see other in videos bridge the cards after a riffle why the cards are on the table still. Anyways good work as always. Bye
I can do sybil cut and worm but i cant do this i've been practicing this for last 3 months any tips for me when im riffling the cards they riffle from both edges no matter where my thumb is
+aditsu try to put a little bit of pressure with your middle fingers on the top card of each pile, don't grip the piles with your middle fingers from behind when you riffle them, let the surface be the grip. because of the pressure the cards will stay and will not spread around. worked for me just now, i had the same problem.
@unrefillable I'm talking about after the table riffle shuffle is done to add a bridge while the cards are on the table, which is different than a , "in the hands riffle with a bridge." Hence why I asked Asad to cover the table bridge technique while a table riffle shuffle is done.
Very easy shuffle to learn and very effective. Took me like 5 minutes to get it right. I learned the in the hands riffle shuffle then this so this was very easy for me but *I recommend you guys learn this then the in the hands riffle shuffle* as you need better riffling in the in the hands.
Now i can riffle them but i cant square them up i think i put too much presurre but then when i tried to push them loosly its still very hard to push together any help please?
I'm just noe able to put my index finger like that.. Every time I try to put my nail down to the cards, my middle finger compensates by applying a lot of pressure inwards.
its ok this shuffle for magic tricks but for real poker games or in casinos not really. you lift to high the cards and that is not good. but its ok for friendly games
Michael Ptak no you do need strength! When holding it you need to be able to keep a grip! I have very non flexible cards, so I have to develop thumb strength.
I use Gold Dragon Backs by bicycle they are so smooth to use i got them from amazon i also have black tiger bicycle cards they arent as good but they got me to learn how to do lots of tricks i recomend both of those packs but if u want to learn get the black tigers but if you know how to do stuff get the Dragon Backs get the gold they have the nicist back design
This is easier on the cards, less interesting to look at, requires a freaking table, and is harder to boot than leftmost flashier and simpler versions you can find elsewhere online. That's why it's imperative that any self-respecting budding magician master it before they move on to other riffles. A great tool.

Hot tip: good to practice this sort of thing on a mouse pad.
7j557j7j5 mmmm that was hot
took me an hour to figure this out on my own :( nice comment
Brilliant!
Thanks

This is the best riffle tutorial I have ever seen A+++++
also using the right types of playing cards will also make it easier. thick bicycle decks can be too stiff to flourish
What kinds would you recommend?
I think that’s the issue I’m having. I’m trying it with board game cards (like It’s a Wonderful World and Spirit Island) and they’re far too stiff.
I just started doing this, thanks to this video, and wow he's certainly not kidding about that card friction, it feels pretty crazy :o
You Mismag and Encyclopedia of magic are THE BEST CARD TRICK TEACHERS! :D Respect.

Top, top, shuffle thank's. It took me about an hour to get it just about right. cheer's.
I learned and now can perform with ease THANK YOU ASAD
What's the difference between this deck and standard Bicycle playing cards? Is it easier to do this with Bee Stingers?
Depends but I'd say he just wanted to use these cards for this video
Great Tutorial Asad, Always nice to check in and watch a few videos while practicing. I actually linked this vid in another I watched for anyone looking for some great tutorials. I hope you're having a great weekend.
I've been trying to do this for almost 1 week now and every time I watch this it pisses me off. Can you please explain it better
did you manage to do it yet
@@sen1679 lol
@@karlson9036 bahaha
he just did it that way because during a bridge the cards show a little which is why they dont do it in casinos
Does it make a difference if you use paper cards or cardboard cards.

I reccomend you get standard bicycle cards, or Bicycle Gold Label if you have access to those.
Jag glömde att säga att Offason är inte lika breda som Bicycle Standard (;

Great job m8, helps me a lot
What brand of cards are those
I can do sybil cut and worm but i cant do this i've been practicing this for last 3 months any tips for me when im riffling the cards they riffle from both edges no matter where my thumb is
How do you angle the cards against the table/mat so that they riffle smoothly and don't spread around when falling?
+aditsu try to put a little bit of pressure with your middle fingers on the top card of each pile, don't grip the piles with your middle fingers from behind when you riffle them, let the surface be the grip. because of the pressure the cards will stay and will not spread around. worked for me just now, i had the same problem.
+The Schlimmfisch Thank you! Yes, pressing down the corner seems to be the key. Then the angle is not important. It just needs practice.
Do your cards bend when you shufffle like this?
If your cards are bent, just bend it on the other way and it'll be fine as long as you don't crease it
My cards are way too stiff for that 😮
Where do you get a good Quality card mat??🃏😀
Where did you get yor mat?
DUHHHHH ! M.C Donald's

What are the cards called someone tell me please
Bee Stingers
when i release tention with my thumb it lets about five cards at the same time go down please answere
Bend the cards more
Also make sure the deck is perfectly aligned
Seems to work. Normally 1/7 of the cards on top were on top before
Try it with three decks in ur hand
its ok this shuffle for magic tricks but for real poker games or in casinos not really. you lift to high the cards and that is not good. but its ok for friendly games
Great elegance, thx so much for all your tutorial
The nails on my folded fingers hurt doing that 😢
Have I heard joint? ☺
Great tutorial; it helped a lot!
Really helped
You know the one thing he doesn't teach you in these videos is that for most shuffles or tricks, you need finger strength or nothing will happen
Your hands should be very loose and relaxed while doing this shuffle. There is very little force involved. You are probably riffling too hard
josh plaut fuck
You are so freekn wrong lmfao.
Michael Ptak no you do need strength! When holding it you need to be able to keep a grip! I have very non flexible cards, so I have to develop thumb strength.
ahh u need to apply alot of pressure. it seems in the videos that there is no pressure at all.. thats why i couldnt do it until now
I use Gold Dragon Backs by bicycle they are so smooth to use i got them from amazon i also have black tiger bicycle cards they arent as good but they got me to learn how to do lots of tricks i recomend both of those packs but if u want to learn get the black tigers but if you know how to do stuff get the Dragon Backs get the gold they have the nicist back design

thanks helped so much
I can't do it its too hard

Nice tutorial! Could you do a tutorial for the table bridge too?
Man, this is great! Thank you!
its a safe shuffle, and then there is cold stacking
First of all, you can bridge the cards with the Tabled Riffle Shuffle.
Second of all, I normally flash the card faces.
Good vid
easy tnx!
let me guess :D the intro is by joeyfx, isnt it? :D

Every single time I have ever shuffled a deck of cards like this, the top card of both decks gets bent to fuck and back and ruined.
@HALSEYDJ1 r u sure? i have the stingers and the borders are not that thick.
great!
thanks! jesse ding
That's different, it's covered in his video 'in the hands riffle shuffle'
is there a way to shuffle a deck of cards which are not made up of plastic?
+Hamza Shakeel this is not a plastic deck
1:50 i see a leg ?O_o how did you film it xD
its a very beutifull trick magick
How can I do the sybil cut but not this stupidly simple shuffle! It's so annoying!
theres a little clerical error on your website in dragon backs ;D
(sorry my english)
its a bit harder to do on the sides maybe its cause i started from the short end (top) when i learned this...
OMG I WANT THAT SPECIAL BEE DECK D: OMGEEE
