the thing is that just "last input only" can be used with literally any keyboard, as this thing is really easy to do with a script. These scripts are banned in CS, but Razer's snappy tappy is somehow allowed.

I don’t think I’ve come across a company that prioritises the needs of the community as much as Wooting. I purchased my 60HE+ not too long ago and it is without a doubt the best keyboard I have ever used, super responsive and probably was the biggest game changer for me in competitive gaming, for CS alone it was insane. Now seeing them come with more software updates and improvements to performance it really just feels like my wooting will never get old. I really appreciate the fact that such a company exists and wish them all the success in the world. Thanks Wooting!
Pretty much the main reason I pre-ordered an 80HE instead of waiting for someone else to release a "real" TKL HE keyboard. As much as I want the standard TKL form factor, no other brand gets even close to wooting software update and support quality

Having a wooting keyboard is one of the most annoying experiences, you update you're keyboard today, have the coolest features , and then tomorrow you have to update it again so you have some other features that destroys even the slightest thought of buying another keyboard... Now, if we leave the sarcasm aside, spending a little bit more on a woothing keyboard is one of the best investments in peripherals, and yes, they are more expensive than others but these keyboards are worth every damn penny, well done wooting team, I salute you!

Some options for naming: * X Keys / Groups, where the X means eXclusive * Cut Keys / Groups, since one key is cut off when the new one is pressed. * Solo Keys / Groups, since only one of the keys happens at once In music software they are called "exclusive groups" for example when an open high hat gets cut by triggering a closed high hat sample, and it's a group since any number of samples can be in the group to cut each other off. When the original key is still down after the new key is pressed then the original key re-triggering is called "return triggering".

The feature based on actuation is extremely good as it is really. Some people say it’s trash but that’s because they never got used to it. Having the option for last key press is cool but it essentially is cheating
@@PureCapsaicin It isn't "essentially cheating" it is actually cheating, SOCD is banned in a lot of competitive and fighting games. There's a reason why it wasn't commonly used for the past 20 years since it's invention.

chrome exposes an api to allow webpages access to hardware, which if you think for even 1 second could be insanely dangerous and allow for all sorts of phishing, hacks, exploits, etc. firefox hasnt implemented the api for privacy and security reasons

I ordered the 80HE already and a friend of mine was sending me the Razer video this morning with: "You have to buy that asap." I m not that deep in the razer/wooting keyboard game but i kept thinking, well i can t imagine wooting not having something similiar since the products seem so well received and the transparency of the company is so high. Here i am 2 hours later with that video :D. Awesome. I 100% made the right choice and i am suuuuper hyped for the 80HE, especially with the Jade Switches and the brand new snappytappy tech!
I've had my 60he for a long time now and I want an upgrade, so I'll definitely be getting the 80he when it releases. I am finally able to build a setup I want and I can also upgrade it along the way and so you guys releasing this kb soon is great.

@@MehKore You're right. Because this feature is very intuitive and should be something every keyboard will have sooner or later. It will be absolute standard with no cost increase connected to it, since its an extremely simple software update. Meanwhile higher refresh rate monitors, higher poll rate mice etc are connected to more cost. So these things are way more "problematic" than this feature everybody is whining about. And I dare say they are not problematic at all. So there is no issue here whatsoever.

just got me hands on the 80HE. They also added extra stuff without me paying extra so i feel really appreciated and cannot wait to see what all the fuss is about.
Just installed the beta. It's responsive, fluid and helps with directional movement. I'm happy that wooting supported the beta with all their products. TBH was going to get a razor keyboard b4 the beta.

@@MehKore You're right. Because this feature is very intuitive and should be something every keyboard will have sooner or later. It will be absolute standard with no cost increase connected to it, since its an extremely simple software update.
Meanwhile higher refresh rate monitors, higher poll rate mice etc are connected to more cost. So these things are way more "problematic" than this feature everybody is whining about. And I dare say they are not problematic at all. So there is no issue here whatsoever.

I greatly applaud your attempts at keeping gaming with integrity, but with how fast you reacted to razer, I'm impressed!! at the end of the day it's competition for yall and I respect the response. If it wasn't for the fundamental mentality behind these decisions, I definitely wouldn't care enough to spend the money on this product, but the company is top notch!!

just got me hands on the 80HE. They also added extra stuff without me paying extra so i feel really appreciated and cannot wait to see what all the fuss is about.
As soon as I saw his video i knew this would be easy asf for you boys to implement. You boys are the best.
Just installed the beta. It's responsive, fluid and helps with directional movement. I'm happy that wooting supported the beta with all their products. TBH was going to get a razor keyboard b4 the beta.
