Hello, thank you so much for the constant innovation! One queation, why did you change the rapid trigger minimum to 0.15? in the past I was able to use it on 0.1
We decided to start showing 2 decimals, rounded up, and allowed 0.05mm increments. We set the minimum at 0.15mm because we don't feel confident enough to go below 0.1mm and we would in reality not do exactly 0.10mm. This is mostly due to the start of the press being more difficult to read accurately. Let me explain. The way the sensor works is that at the start of the press, the rate of change is far small than the end of the press. In other words, the resolution at which we can see the signal at the start of the press is relative to the end of press very low and as you press further down the resolution reaches to very high. The higher the resolution, the better we are able to distinguish "noise", the continuously movement of the signal, from actual user press/depress. This is true for all keyboards using Hall Effect sensors, HE keyboards. You can increase the resolution with additional hardware components and more scanning, but this comes at the cost of increased latency. As you know, we prioritize low latency, so we need to find a perfect balance. With our setup, the first 0.3mm makes it too difficult to read 0.05mm differences and 0.10mm would be not 100% representative to reality, it's more 0.13mm. We want to be accurate with our numbers and not misrepresent the real performance, hence we rounded up to 0.15mm and allow clean 0.05mm increments. All that said, we recently released a new firmware update with a new algorithm we created that cleans up signal, removes more false positives, and processes everything more efficient. Meaning that not only did we get the latency down, we also increased the overall resolution. We will review again if it's worth bringing that number down to 0.10mm Hope that gave some insight.
@@WootingI could feel that at the first mm of the press it was less accurate, so I assumed that was the reason. Thank you for the explanation! Good morning, I’ve had my wooting 60 he for about 10 months now and I’ve had no problems with it but now my led lights flicker on and off and my wasd binds would randomly stop working. I’ve reset the keyboard and also turned my led brightness down but that still doesn’t seem to work. I was wondering if you could let me know what the issue is because I do love this keyboard, thanks.
Is there a way to put one of the two binds to the side mouse button? I’ve tried remapping my kb button to side mouse button 5 but it won’t work. It’s mainly because I use my side mouse button to move backwards and I always accidentally hit it and stop moving mid fight.
razer huntsman mini did it better. in short not this surpassing thing, instead which key stroke is push the latest has the priority. shouldnt be difficult for you guys to develope something like that. :)
They don’t want to because many gaming think it is cheating. Especially in the CS community where you do get a true competitive advantage from fast counter strafes.
i have the wooting 60he and i tried on the beta website turn on the rappy snappy but i see no difference? could i be because on the normal wooting web software it doesn't have rappy snappy or what am i missing?
Soo I'm confused. You talked about a lot of issues in the video, but does Rappy snappy resolve this? Or is that what will happen once I activate Rappy snappy? Or what's going on? I use a wooting 60HE and if I press A for 0.1mm to activate it, then press D for 0.2mm, it will be issuing a D input. However if I then move A even further down to 0.3mm, still D is activated. Not A. So it's not working how you explained it in your example. So now I'm just confused.
Right now razer's snap tap is better but wooting's rappy snappy is still in beta. Hope wooting makes rappy snappy as broken (overpowered) as it is in the razer keyboards

We will review again if it's worth bringing that number down to 0.10mm
Hope that gave some insight.

Why not just use warranty
@@dechrysoph5298 thanks
Can't wait for my 80HE after waiting 2 weeks for banking issues to be fixed.
I want those sexy keycaps! My god they’re so sleek without anything on it, I’m being serious!
BOOBY CACTUS! Please make sure you give that cactus more light otherwise it will start thinning out aka etiolation.
Once u go wooting u never go back :) Thanks guys for your awsome work! \o/
insane keyboard tech, wooting is going places.
Rappy Snappy Time! Thanks Calder!
Is there a way to put one of the two binds to the side mouse button? I’ve tried remapping my kb button to side mouse button 5 but it won’t work. It’s mainly because I use my side mouse button to move backwards and I always accidentally hit it and stop moving mid fight.
i might get back into mcpvp because of rappy snappy
razer huntsman mini did it better. in short not this surpassing thing, instead which key stroke is push the latest has the priority. shouldnt be difficult for you guys to develope something like that. :)
They don’t want to because many gaming think it is cheating. Especially in the CS community where you do get a true competitive advantage from fast counter strafes.
There is already an official survey in the Wooting Discord whether this behaviour should be implemented.
@@MrMartinZockt except, now razer is doing it, so why not also do it? Or should all the pro gamers now get a razer keyboard instead?
@@MrSkyl1ne that’s why I voted for yes to implement the feature.
this has been a script since cs1.6 🤣
yesss im so glad my 2HE is compatible with this! downloading it now!
When razer put it on first 😅😂😅😂😅😅😂😅
great update. makes the razer capslock army go nuts in the comments - well done wooting
I heard some CS2 Players were banned for SOCD Changes on FACEIT. Any info if this is true?

when will this come to the wooting utility app for desktop? I don't use a compatible browser (i'll download chrome just for this tho lol)
I think it will be in few days
mine is not showing anything rn. even update my 60he and restart the browser..
Add snap tap too, would hardly take a day for your devs
already out name is socd only works on the wooting site not with the software
i have the wooting 60he and i tried on the beta website turn on the rappy snappy but i see no difference? could i be because on the normal wooting web software it doesn't have rappy snappy or what am i missing?
Soo I'm confused. You talked about a lot of issues in the video, but does Rappy snappy resolve this? Or is that what will happen once I activate Rappy snappy? Or what's going on?
I use a wooting 60HE and if I press A for 0.1mm to activate it, then press D for 0.2mm, it will be issuing a D input. However if I then move A even further down to 0.3mm, still D is activated. Not A. So it's not working how you explained it in your example. So now I'm just confused.
WE LOVE SOCD ❤
Was’t this already avaible when u used the double movement software
Either way making it a settings is way lore convenient
Is this usefull for something in apex?
My 10yo computer in flames trying to understand what language my gaming keyboard is speaking
Is this better or the same as Razer's Snap tap feature?
Right now razer's snap tap is better but wooting's rappy snappy is still in beta. Hope wooting makes rappy snappy as broken (overpowered) as it is in the razer keyboards
Great Products, great Software and great Tutorial. Keep it up!
I really want my 80he to try this feature!!
