I worked as mechanic on AM General Military Trucks. The Trucks are really good and the job gave me the feeling being at home. The job has been in Schweinfurt from 2007 - 2008.
This is an awesome lineup, love this era of Internationals. The Fleetstar at 5:25 appears to have the wrong grill looks like it should be on a Loadstar tilt hood.
10-4 my friend!! We'll see you there!! I'll also be hanging out with John A. from Wind Gap,PA.who owns one of the original BJ and the Bear Cabovers, hopefully he gets it together to get it there for the weekend. Have a GREAT day!! We'll see you soon!!
If it's the one thing I love it's an all original truck. The only thing is the inside is usually in bad shape but the outside looks good. That's the case with some of these trucks.
You can buy engine parts at any auto parts. On the 304 345 or 390 motor use the key word scout will save you time and money. Today a truck will part out one piece at a time for 10 times more money than the truck will sell for. Like a Detroit engine. Detroit engine will part out at over around 4,000 piece buy piece. You can also use other parts on international gas engine.[ford carb] convert to electronic ignition use dodge parts . Things like water pump can be rebuilt easy with parts from a bearing store. Any truck tran will fit in place of 4 or 5 speed by changing you input shaft. If your input shaft gear is bad you can press it off and install new gear., And that is some thing most people don't know because it looks like it was all built together. So all parts are available. But old international mech. are rare. So are old Detroit mech. @@dalekrueger1175

That first one was a common cab and chassis for garbage trucks in the 70's. That's when I remember them from.

Wow those trucks were in amazing condition considering their age. Not to mention they were practically given away at those prices. Thanks for sharing!
+myjet4life Bid on the red once or twice until it hit 1000, too big for my driveway.

I hadn't notice that before but now that you mention it....
Barry Wilkinson you are right it does have the wrong grill.

7:17 That M Series engine goes treek-treek-treek...Sorry for the owner's pocket. Gas prices are very treacherous!
5:51 love that blue paint
having a hobby is wonderful and to be so focus takes a lot of control for me. very cool people
Impressive lineup

The Ford Aero Max and KW "Ant Eater" look a bit out of place in the line.
Friend, where is that place?
Some real beauties.Thanks
+shnimmuc Just wish I had the money and space for them all.
like your videos hello from Utica/rome
That fleetstar 2000 Is cherry. Heard that decompression when they fired it up
I really should have bought one of these trucks. They sold for practically nothing.

5:25, my favorite...
Do you sell them
How do you not buy them all....
I think about this auction often and realize that I made a big mistake not buying one of them.
@@Dailydieseldose315what were they go for remember, reasonable, or did it get crazy...
@@joeschlotthauer840 nothing higher than 1200.

Holy International Harvester Batman....
That (to me) is unbelievably reasonable....
Are those trucks or dinosaurs? LOL Would've liked to see them in action. Thx for sharing
+ddrum705 Me too! I wish I knew they were up there all these years.

A real deal truck dude!!
Did any of them had the awesome Detroit Diesel engine?
+Eric Ryder Sadly no. Mostly gas! Blech!
No Detroit?! No power!! Lol!!
That 2nd one definitely needs a Detroit Diesel in it!!
Looks almost the same steering wheel I got in my truck
Anyone looking for a 78 International TranStar 4070 day cab completes including instruments all glasses in intact
Internationals started mostly as farm trucks as that's why they were called corn binders.
Can we say "Factory Fresh?"
+TheNyarcangel Insane!
Nice trucks! You do have a Chenango County accent, by the way.
+bronxfireradio HA! Never heard that before. I tend to talk a little lower on these videos so people don't think I'm nuts.
Maxxforce swap to all those gassers!
