That firetruck at 1:30 has a Coleman front axle. Coleman axles were bit of an engineering marvel and are a worthy topic in truck history all by themselves, and with IHC being the predominant brand for heavy-duty 4x4s in those days, a lot of IHC trucks were equipped with Coleman axles. But I don't know if they came that way from the factory or if they were aftermarket conversions (which I understand was common in those days as well).
Those were some pretty nice looking old trucks. They may not have been very aerodynamic or the most comfortable trucks to drive down the road but, they all had some style to them. Back in the day you could tell what the truck was coming at you on the road, now days they all look kinda the same. Thanks for posting & stay safe.
Drove many IH back in the 70's/80's Loadstar, Fleetstar, Brand new Paystar tri-axle dump in 84. Last IH I drove was a 2010 Prostar, Excellent truck with cummins in it.. 4 yrs 465000 miles I put on it.

We had a 1952 IH 3/4 ton with a 4 speed.I learned to drive with that old girl.It worked very hard.Yes I wish I had it back.

Yes, Detroit was a very common option in IHC trucks.
IH made some good pick ups. & the grand daddy of all SUV's.
