tournaments and ranked modes do exist btw but yeah its not a large scene like most fighting games the weekly player count usually peaks at 800 averages to 500 based on most active hours so theres room to grow.
the thing is that they would either have to make it only the current base 4, which will get boring quickly, or make a sort of competitively fair character list that includes modded characters sort of like that one channel that does ROA fights I dunno much about yomi tournaments but if they already do this then it's gonna be sick
I’ve found that living in fear of the burst is never the best option. If they burst it’s fine. You did damage to them and they no longer have burst. You have successfully won the neutral fight and limited their resources!
Yeah it's usually no big deal, I'm just greedy and want to make them waste it and continue the combo. Doing damage until they have used it is much better, like you said.
I play android so fearing the burst is the only way I get to do more than 500 per 400 hit combo and when you actually do predict it as Android they forfeit
Trying to shift at the end was a huge misplay, if you are in an rps you check their options and then try something to counter them, you didn't relly check anything, and shift is really slow compared to the 3f grab. Anyway, glad to see you enjoying the game!
ive noticed while playing against my friend (the rat who found this) if you just have ur DI straight down you basically never leave the ground and sometimes will even land after they hit you mid combo giving you a move, extremely annoying to play against

I did use OBS, I haven't had any trouble with it though. I use the game capture then set the source to the game.
