Some excellent ideas here I'll definitely try. I discovered your channel a few weeks ago and wanted to comment on the quality of your videos and information. Great work and I'm looking forward to watching your channel grow along with your garden. Cheers 👍
I just want to thank the algorithm for suggesting your channel.. You seem to explain exactly what is needed in a way that makes sense and seems very doable! Thank you and thanks to the algo!
Thanks for all your methods of preserving your herbs. Another way to use your herbs would be making different herb salts. Using dehydrated herbs combined with sea salt or hymilayan salt in a spice jar. I also make different herb teas and herb dipping oil. 😊

I’m definitely trying the microwave trick! I have been looking for ways to preserve my herbs so they retain their flavor!
So glad you found it helpful!
So the microwave method works? They're truly dry? Or is more required?
Yes they are really dry! The main thing is just not microwaving them for too long, just until they’re crumbly
Stick the oil in the freezer and you will get the best color when blending.
Microwave made my herbs bitter what went wrong
Oh no! Possibly overcooked? If you microwave in short intervals just until they’re dry, they should be fine
