Love the channel Thrifty! I watch your reviews all the time for a detailed 360° view of most RR and Marbles knives! I recently just picked up the Marbles Black Stag Congress Whittler and was absolutely blown away with the quality for the price! If you haven’t already picked one up, I highly recommend it! Chicago Knife Works still has them in stock (as I am writing this).
Thanks for the recommendation, Andrew. Looks quite good for the price. Happy to hear you are enjoying the reviews. Have a great day.
Very nice great looking Congress pattern! One of my favorite patterns!!
A stylish 5th pocket carry with great southern vibes. I'm happy to have it, Mike.
Funny how they couldnt get there blues blue back then. I got a teal trapper and it was green also. But then they did the black and blue series and got it right! Cool congress! Thanks for sharing TK!!
Yep, should be the teal green smooth bone. Love the color anyway. Looks great. Thanks, Andrew.
The color on those covers looks awesome. Nice one, buddy!
A deep teal green. Lovely. Cheers, David.
The music tracks that you pair with your post review slideshows are always apropos and moving.
Thanks, Robert. I appreciate you watching all the way through.
That is one good looking Congress! I really like that!
Do you know if they make any Congress patterns with Carbon or upgraded steel?
Thanks for giving us a closer look at this one! Have a great weekend!
The Stoneworx Congress had 440B, all that comes to mind from RR. Thanks, Peppered.
The RR Black&Blue Congress is just amazing in its color. It feels so good in hand. The only thing Im worried about is will it resharpen easily and hold an edge.
It holds an edge reasonable well. Of course that'll depend how you use it. Sharpernng 440A is relatively easy with just a bit of practice.
I do like the congress it's a pattern I have definitely warmed to of late. Thanks for the look at this John 🙏🏻
You're very welcome kind sir. I'ts an elegant pattern, I seem to like this size the most. Thanks Slippy.
Another beautiful RR knife, that blue bone is very lovely on that Congress! Thanks for sharing, take care and Cheers!
Thanks a bunch Toad. I hope you're doing well. I guess work is kicking your butt lately. I hope I can see and chat with my amphibian friend, Sunday.
Not a bad color of teal. Great knife and another excellent video buddy!
The color may not be as intended, but it still looks good. Thanks, Randy.
The congress is an interesting pattern with its bent blades, simple color scales look really nice, thank for sharing, TK.
There's lots of charm to the congress. It's a pattern I've grown to appreciate.
Thank You friend🌲🙏🌲
Thanks for visiting, Ofer.
It look almost green on my uncalibrated monitor.
Thanks TK
Yea its closer to green than blue for sure. Just the way the dye turned out. Thanks Check.
Pretty knife. Wish they would have kept the horse shoe insignia plate.😊
I wished they had as well. Just a cool looking design. Thanks, Rasputin.
That is a beautiful little knife. I love the overall shape and the color of the handles. An excellent review TK. Thanks for sharing that beauty! Cheers, RW

Looking forward to the milestone, RWA. Thanks for being a part of it. Glad you like the Congress. Take care.
Hola buenos días, es una navaja preciosa y seguro que bien afilada es muy útil para tallar madera.un saludo 🙋🏻
Very nice looking knife. I've not had my hands on a Congress. I find the handle shape a little odd. Does it sit well in the hand?
I've not had any issues with comfort. Not too bad.
Just found this channel and I love it! Subbed and liked.
Welcome aboard, Scott. Glad you found your way here. I've been sick this week, so apologies for the slow response. Thanks for coming.
@@ThriftyKaniffy feel better!
I'm seeking a new whittler to give relief to my old, sturdy Pine Knot stockman. I love the congress pattern (with blade type configuration of the RR1950) but need closer to 4" or longer for my hand size. I'm concerned about whether an RR can handle extended sessions. Any recommendations? The RRR Dude Whittler has gotten my attention but a "standard" model would be a preferred price point.
You might give this one a shot. Last one bought didnt have the greatest fit and finish, but for a budget user it just needs to work, and that it will. smkw.com/marbles-green-stag-bone-congress
@@ThriftyKaniffy Thank you for this. Bookmarked the link for future consideration. In an upcoming vid, I'll ask if you have any insight to whether or not there is a practical function behind pinched bolsters or if it's pure aesthetics.
@@Steakfrie Just an aesthetic choice really. Thanks, Steakfrie.
Sweet
Thank you , Jeff. Cheers!
