think a darker part is that this might be why maul was so willing to betray ahsoka and the rest years later. he knows that ahsoka is fully willing of using and disposing of another if she feels it. She left maul unarmed against the clones as bait and bait alone. in the end he returned that favor.
I got goosebumps when I saw this one. Got to say we see a bit of a different side of Maul here and in this entire arc. Really wanted these two to team up. Lets not lose hope. Remember Maul hasn't gotten off the ship yet. There still could be a chance. Who knows maybe all three of them are on an escape vessel together.
True.. I was disgusted to see that its not going to happen, especially since it would have been the right time to team up, but no .. Honestly I don't have too much hope of seeing a team in the next episode, dave certainly decided otherwise, which is stupid, because many of us were hyped to see a team Maulsoka for escape order 66, imagined maul with blue saber ^^ ( as with kenobi saber red and assaj ventress ). After I don't know about you, but I have a bitter feeling for Ahsoka, Maul offers her help to survive together, she refuses, he asks her for a weapon so that he can defend himself against clones, she refuses, she only uses Maul so that she can help rex. It's order 66, there is absolutely a whole battalion full of clones on the cruiser for kill she and maul + rex now, and she finds a way to be selfish and go alone, she doesn't care if maul dies, all she wants is to serve the bait. I do not know if this is wanted but Maul and go up high enough in my esteem in the last 2 episode unlike Ahsoka, especially since she makes stupid decisions. Even obi wan kenobi would have teamed up with maul to escape the purge.
In a strange twisted way maul actually tried saving the jedi order by going up against sidious and then warning them in mandalore…but the jedi just kept going deeper into that rabbit hole…

Notice how Maul was like "follow my lead". That pretty much summarizes what Maul thinks of Ahsoka. To him she's still Skywalker's little Padawan, meant to be lead, and used. Another indicator on how Maul underestimates his enemies.
Well to him she still is, he wasn't trying to kill her when they fought, if he really wanted to he could have, how well he fared against Sidious proves this, he was messing around the whole fight but when it was just Maul Sidious got serious and was even frustrated when he manages to land a kick on him, no one aside from Yoda and Mace have done anything close to that, and he also stalemates Mace and Secura in Son of Dathomir, but he is still arrogant which is what usually is his downfall.

That and Ahsoka landing on Mandalore
Maul is so unique. He's dark side aligned but doesn't have anything to do with Order 66. It's like he's watch a bomb drop on a city in the distance. The Jedi city.
Darth Maul is one of my TOP favorites in the entire Star Wars franchise and whoever is the voice actor for him in this show does it PERFECTLY. Manipulating and sinister voice

Love the little detail of the clone on Maul's left looking behind him after noticing Maul's eyes shift to Ahsoka. That little detail is so cool to me
Maul should be angrier with her, she was warned and she ignored him
I think he's just happy to be alive and he's probably even happier to be proven right.
After everything Maul has done to Obi-wan and the Jedi, Ahsoka had no reason to believe him.
He kinda sounded like that's where he was going with that first "you..." and then he changed his mind lol.
Loll that kind of reaction would have made him sound like a really mean parent.
He's a former Sith Lord, and like loudboy317 already said, has a terrible history with Obi-Wan. Desperate as Maul was, Ahsoka had no incentive to believe him. And the only reason we as viewers felt her decision was foolish was because we already knew where the story was gonna go, and we were lying to ourselves thinking her one decision could've had a chance of changing it. Unfortunately Ahsoka's not an audience member.

Even after being betrayed by Palpatine, Maul still praises his master. Guessing it shows Maul knows nor even cares that he's no different from him (they are both Sith after all).
Maul can't even be mad in this scene. Just in awe of Palpatine's genius.

Well thats what happens when an army of thousands of clone troopers suddenly appears in Kamino and nobody seems to look for deeper info
Such a shit plot hole for attack of the clones tbh
When you realize that the clone army really was never their army.
think a darker part is that this might be why maul was so willing to betray ahsoka and the rest years later. he knows that ahsoka is fully willing of using and disposing of another if she feels it.
