Thanks Calum, I’m sure Alistair will appreciate that. I remember him being quite fond of this video 😃 Also I think this might be the first time anyone has mixed us up 🤣 Cheers, Douglas
Thank you! The views are fantastic on a clear day, even back towards the city, although I’d pick the mountains personally. How was it underfoot for you?
Fantastic video , we ran up Earls seat yesterday. Got a little mixed up as to where Earls seat was lol. But a great adventure and we found it in the end. Vlog will be dropping on my channel today. Dropped a sub too, thanks for sharing.
I’ve no idea how people run up these places! Met a few runners on my last solo munro. It was a long day for me, so no idea how they all felt afterwards 😂 I’ll give it a wee look. Thanks for the sub!
@HighlandHikers haha don't get me wrong mate , we have a method lol. Walk the up and run the rest. Ah thanks for that. Wish I'd have saw your vlog yesterday lol so we properly knew for navigation. We came up and over drumgoyne and then back over it to the car after Earls Seat. Absolutely shattered last night 😂
@runningwithstephen Going over twice! If you parked at the distillery then you can bypass it on the way back. The loop I did in this video was great. Once off the hill it was straight along the cycle path, back to the start.
The Earls Seat sits right on the boundary between East Dunbartonshire and Stirling so it’s in both areas. Cort-ma Law isn’t the highest point on the east side of the Campsies either. Lecket Hill with a height of 547m, which is just slightly north of Cort-ma Law, and still within East Dunbartonshire, is taller than Cort-ma Law as well.
My playground growing up, awesome ,we used to slide down dumgoyne,it was great fun
That would be long sledge down in the winter!
Great video!
Thank you ☺️
What gorgeous weather you got for the walk 🚶♂️. Stunning scenery. Have a great weekend 😀, Brian and Sah
Thank you. We’ve somehow managed to get glorious weather for our last few walks, but I’m sure it’ll balance itself out soon enough!
Thank you for this video Alastair. You make our local hills look fabulous!

@@HighlandHikers When we eventually cross paths in the hills, I'll need you guys to wear name badges, haha!
This was a brilliant video, I've done this hike recently myself, although it was a misty day! Looks very different on a clear day. :)

Thanks for this. Planning on getting this done asap. Done Cort Ma Law yesterday on the eastern side of the Campsies. Cheers ATB
Thanks Marco. It’s an enjoyable walk when the weather is good but could be very boggy just now.
@@HighlandHikers it will be, Cort Ma Law the other was a total bogfest!!!
😂 the section of this one between Dumgoyne and Earl’s Seat is where it would be worst.
Great video! What views! Thanks! It's good to see the route on the OS map, and to have peaks pointed out (like Ben Lomond).
Thanks Alasdair. It’s a great area to go walking with plenty of routes to take and as you say great views!
Brilliant vid Al, great views!
Thanks Gav, much appreciated

@HighlandHikers yes 🫣. I think a little more research next time, haha. Yes this video was very helpful. Thank you 😊
Earls seat isnt in east dunbartonshire, its in stirlingshire. Cort ma law is the highest peak in east dunbartonshire.
