Meet new bassist Fami, she fits right in. She won the auditions and joined in Oct 2022. Told you the twin 'melt your face' guitar solos were common with them, lol. And yeah those notes Asami hits. 🤘🤘 Lead single and title track from the 4th album, released 2023. Asami wrote it, Mao co wrote the music with her. Fami recorded on the album, but the bass parts were written beforehand, she brought her style and energy though. The bass intros on this and the 2nd single, "Stand And Deliver(Shoot 'em Down)" were a 'here's our new bassist ,this is what she can do' kind of intros.
Stand and Deliver is coming up very soon! I am looking forward to that one. It's insanity to think someone going to audition for band like this! The skills would be needed to be top notch! This was awesome song!.

They received hundreds of applications when they advertised for bass guitarists in a manner that did not place any requirements on nationality, gender, or age. Finally, two Japanese women remained. One had a lot of experience in metal bands and great technique. The other was a 20-year-old university student TH-cam star with little band experience and no idea if she could play metal. And they chose FAMI. Since some fans were uneasy about their choice, they titled their 4th full-length album “Judgment Day” in the hope that fans would judge the new LOVEBITES by this album. (LOVEBITES albums are basically titled in alphabetical order.)
That would be incredibly intimidating to audition for band like this and this caliber. But also shows their skills when they say "judge by the music" because they know what they can do!
When Asami introduced 'Our new bass player, Fami' at the New Cross Inn in London, the first gig of the tour, the audience reaction, cheers and chants of Fami, Fami, nearly brought the roof down. I think the whole band were taken aback by the warmth of the welcome. We all still love and respect Miho, but we have also taken Fami to our hearts. She is a wonderful addition to the band and I have no doubt will take Lovebites to even greater heights. On another reaction channel, if I may paraphrase, a commenter said, "When Miho left Lovbites, she left behind a huge pair of shoes for someone to fill, but that's OK, Fami brought her own shoes"

perfect way to see the supreme talent on display here. first the mv - then the live performance. one song that you will want to do the same with is called ' when destinies align' when you watch the mv first you will question if they could actually pull off the solo section live - one of the best you have ever heard. then the question gets answered in spades when you see them do it. midori and miyako are untouchable.

Really, I can't think of any Metal band that's more accomplished at everything (songwriting, musicianship on all instruments, vocals, stage presence, happiness levels and certainly on looks!). Just like I've never seen and heard a better Hard Rock band than Band-Maid. Or better vocal fry to melodic vocals than Nemophila. Japanese women are basically better at everything than anyone else! To be fair, you have had a lot to take in very quickly and it is a bit like waking up in an alternate reality so hats off to you! You've certainly made a lot of people happy with your reactions so keep doing what you're doing.

3 Lovebites in a row. That's a good sign :) Always good to see a "head in hands" level of reaction. The guitar "solo, solo, solo, solo, duet" overwhelm is real! I find myself holding my breath whilst headbanging because apparently I can't process the music whilst still remembering to breath. You will know you are deep into their catalogue when you run into the Keytar XD The Lovebites songs you listed at the start, all bangers. I will throw my vote behind "Swan Song - with Chopin intro" (the chopin intro bit is important) for another Lovebites track, but really whichever one you pick, it will be a banger anyway. As you mentioned Hanabie, random Trivia. Hanabie begun as a cover band of another Japanese band called Maximum The Hormone. The drummer of Band-Maid, Akane, was inspired to take up / focus on drums by the drummer of Maximum the Hormone. And Tamu, Nemophila's drummer, was also inspired to focus on drums by the drummer of Maximum The Hormone. Also Saki, the guitarist who left Nemophila, was previously in a band called Destrose. Destrose also had a drummer, Haruna, and a Bassist, Miho. When Destrose broke up, Haruna and Miho started Lovebites. MANY wild times ahead XD

Best metal band (Let's just go with band) on the planet. My fav metal band of all-time. They don't miss ever. Midori & Miyako can out shred anyone. They are elite. Immensly talented musicians who are excellent composers. Yes, Hanabie is a must, (Buckle-up) STMLT, East of Eden, NEK!, more Nemophila...the Japanese all-female bands are just, well...better. There is an incredible amount of incredible musicians in Japan.
One amazing thing about Asami is she doesn't use falsetto. She's up there belting in a full mixed voice, over and over and over, with that power, song after song. Trying to remember if she uses a little falsetto in the acoustic version of Rising. Pretty much though, she's full power belting all the time. She also has a relatively deep and smoky voice, at least for her size. Love her voice!

I like your enthusiasm 😄! With Lovebites you can't do anything wrong. Each and every song by them is a masterpiece of its own. In my book, Lovebites are the best Heavy Metal band in the world, since all of human history. Find me any other band with the same power, technicality, raw talent and skill, complexity in song structure, the same positive message in their lyrics, and the same grace and elegance, combined with Lovebites' stage presence! I don't think anyone can. Japan should declare these ladies a national treasure! 😁 (And they are not even my most favorite band of all times! But they are a very close second to Nemophila... 🙂I consider them (clarification edit: Lovebites!!!) the best band in all of the observable universe, at least since the Big Bang). I only love Nemophila just a tiny little bit more because they include harsh vocals, too... But: A day without Lovebites is a day not lived! I highly recommend the three "E" songs by Lovebites: "E"pilogue, "E"mpty Daydream, and "E"dge of the World, as well as "A Frozen Serenade" - which can be considered the fourth of the three "E"-Songs (pretty much like D'Artagnan is the fourth member of the Three Musketeers), an "E"-Song by association, I guess... And since you already reacted to "Revive" from Nemophila: In my book, you can do nothing wrong by reacting to any of their songs either... Watching people discover their newfound love for female Japanese Heavy Metal is a little bit like re-discovering it all by myself and reliving all the sweet moments when I heard this exceptionally good music for the very first time! Please keep on this journey - you are never going to be disappointed. And anyone who does not feel at least one little thing in their hearts while listening to Lovebites should have their vital signs checked to see if they are still alive! This is music for the ages! Swan Song with Chopin Intro 2020 Five of a Kind is the right version and I'd also say for speed metal with melodic tune Shadowmaker MV or Live 2021 Ride for Veengeance either or is amazing live or Music Video
I admit, when I first heard them, I didn't like it. I was never a power metal dude and didn't like Asami's operatic singing style. But then I heard their more thrashier stuff and started to realize that Miyako and Midori are guitar goddesses. Asami's vocals are super powerful and she is such a commanding front woman. Both Miho and new kid on the block, Fami are bass assassins, and Horuna runs a marathon every single set. With a smile! 'Stand and Deliver' was the next realease off this record and a personal fave of mine. It was nice of the band to feature Fami on both intros to their first two realeases since she joined the band! The Fami smile is already legend! The ladies have once again provided us with an OMV and OLV. Hanabie 'We Love Sweets' If you react to it, Harajuku-core heads will come! What is that you ask........🤷♂️😎👍

3 Lovebites in a row. That's a good sign :) Always good to see a "head in hands" level of reaction.
The guitar "solo, solo, solo, solo, duet" overwhelm is real! I find myself holding my breath whilst headbanging because apparently I can't process the music whilst still remembering to breath.
You will know you are deep into their catalogue when you run into the Keytar XD
The Lovebites songs you listed at the start, all bangers. I will throw my vote behind "Swan Song - with Chopin intro" (the chopin intro bit is important) for another Lovebites track, but really whichever one you pick, it will be a banger anyway.
As you mentioned Hanabie, random Trivia. Hanabie begun as a cover band of another Japanese band called Maximum The Hormone. The drummer of Band-Maid, Akane, was inspired to take up / focus on drums by the drummer of Maximum the Hormone. And Tamu, Nemophila's drummer, was also inspired to focus on drums by the drummer of Maximum The Hormone.
Also Saki, the guitarist who left Nemophila, was previously in a band called Destrose. Destrose also had a drummer, Haruna, and a Bassist, Miho. When Destrose broke up, Haruna and Miho started Lovebites.

Best metal band (Let's just go with band) on the planet. My fav metal band of all-time. They don't miss ever. Midori & Miyako can out shred anyone. They are elite. Immensly talented musicians who are excellent composers. Yes, Hanabie is a must, (Buckle-up) STMLT, East of Eden, NEK!, more Nemophila...the Japanese all-female bands are just, well...better. There is an incredible amount of incredible musicians in Japan.

One amazing thing about Asami is she doesn't use falsetto. She's up there belting in a full mixed voice, over and over and over, with that power, song after song. Trying to remember if she uses a little falsetto in the acoustic version of Rising. Pretty much though, she's full power belting all the time. She also has a relatively deep and smoky voice, at least for her size. Love her voice!

The second MV ever is SHADOWMAKER ( the MV was re-upload with out the commercial for the 1st Album and Japan tour) . You need to do 1st DON'T BY THE DUST & After SHADOWMAKER , both song had a excellent MV & LIVE version as well.

I like your enthusiasm 😄! With Lovebites you can't do anything wrong. Each and every song by them is a masterpiece of its own. In my book, Lovebites are the best Heavy Metal band in the world, since all of human history.
Find me any other band with the same power, technicality, raw talent and skill, complexity in song structure, the same positive message in their lyrics, and the same grace and elegance, combined with Lovebites' stage presence! I don't think anyone can.
Japan should declare these ladies a national treasure! 😁
(And they are not even my most favorite band of all times! But they are a very close second to Nemophila... 🙂I consider them (clarification edit: Lovebites!!!) the best band in all of the observable universe, at least since the Big Bang). I only love Nemophila just a tiny little bit more because they include harsh vocals, too...
But: A day without Lovebites is a day not lived!
I highly recommend the three "E" songs by Lovebites: "E"pilogue, "E"mpty Daydream, and "E"dge of the World, as well as "A Frozen Serenade" - which can be considered the fourth of the three "E"-Songs (pretty much like D'Artagnan is the fourth member of the Three Musketeers), an "E"-Song by association, I guess...
And since you already reacted to "Revive" from Nemophila: In my book, you can do nothing wrong by reacting to any of their songs either...
Watching people discover their newfound love for female Japanese Heavy Metal is a little bit like re-discovering it all by myself and reliving all the sweet moments when I heard this exceptionally good music for the very first time!
Please keep on this journey - you are never going to be disappointed.
And anyone who does not feel at least one little thing in their hearts while listening to Lovebites should have their vital signs checked to see if they are still alive!
This is music for the ages! I hope, Lovebites will remembered by humans living 100, 200, or many hundreds of years in the future, much like we today remember Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, Rachmaninov, Mozart, Händl, and all the others.

I admit, when I first heard them, I didn't like it.
I was never a power metal dude and didn't like Asami's operatic singing style.
But then I heard their more thrashier stuff and started to realize that Miyako and Midori are guitar goddesses. Asami's vocals are super powerful and she is such a commanding front woman. Both Miho and new kid on the block, Fami are bass assassins, and Horuna runs a marathon every single set.
With a smile!
'Stand and Deliver' was the next realease off this record and a personal fave of mine.
It was nice of the band to feature Fami on both intros to their first two realeases since she joined the band!
The Fami smile is already legend!
