Aria on bass and vocals, and Jonah on drums are both 16. only been playing together a little over 2 years. The Warning, Bring Me the Horizon, and Spiritbox are some of their influences. Quinn taught herself to play guitar by listening to The Warning's Queen of the Murder Scene album As you see , the band are horror fans. lol. Their heaviest song to date, loving it. The first single from their upcoming 2nd EP, released on Halloween. I'm thinking the tapes on the TV at the end might be the tracklist. Check out anything from their 5 song Debut EP, Thrones. Yup, that’s my take on it too. For the band their inspiration was ‘The Poughkeepsie Tapes’ a movie about found-footage but yes, the lyrics have general power, control & manipulation vibes as well. This is the 1st single of their forthcoming 2nd EP (the other tapes at the end hint at the other songs?). Their 1st EP ‘Thrones’ is a spectacular debut with a wide range of songs. ‘Daughters of Witches’ goes hard as well, ‘Broken Glass’ really showcases Arias awesome bass & as a sucker for B&W ‘80s power ballads ‘One Left Standing’ is my favorite🥰. & yes, Jonah the Destroyer truly lives up to his name on the drums.

I have been to more than 300 concerts in Japan and the Passcode concerts are definitely the wildest, there are bodies flying everywhere and the whole crowd bounce non-stop, it is absolutely fantastic.

Seeing them live once is definitely not enough. I've been to one concert and I still barely know what everyone on stage is doing. This is doubly true if Ata, bass (Knock Out Monkeys), is performing with them that day. He loves to be a back up dancer even when he is performing with them. 🤣 Fun fact: all of PassCode's songs are written/arranged/produced by the guy that is also their manager Koji Hirachi. Not so fun fact: he's only 32 and only 4 years older than the oldest vocalist Kaede. 😫

They do use autotune because they are an Electronicore group. So that's part of why it sounds so clean. They all sing well without but Electronicore vocals often lean on autotune because of the genre. The most smash you in the face Passcode song is Passcode - Taking You Out mv There are also a couple of good lives of it.

The performance at the Pepsi Centre was only the third time ever that they had performed this song live. 🤯 This performance is the exception, as normally their live performance doesn't sound as good as the studio, it sounds better. HEHE! 😜

One of the first times they had played the song live, a few months before it released. The album's 3rd single, "Hell You Call A Dream" , was also played here before it's release. The band's favorite to play from the album is "Automatic Sun", there are several live versions of that, but wasn't played here at Pepsi. And for all the songs on this album, The Warning has on their channel, track by track explanation videos, 2-3 minutes apiece.
