One of my all-time favorites from them. Love everything about it. It doesn’t feature Asami’s full range or two solos and a harmony, but it doesn’t need to. I think it has an amazing riff and cadence, and it gets going out of the gate like a runaway locative and just doesn’t stop. I love Midori’s unhinged solo into Haruna solo/fill and that epic breakdown. Just doesn’t get any better than that. Miyako bringing it home at the end. Fell in love with Lovebites due to this song, so it always ranks pretty high up there for me.
I suggest you some less known but amazing songs of Lovebites: "Today is the day", "Signs of deliverance" and "Empty daydream". In these songs you can listen to the most wild and insane guitar solo by Miyako and Midori and a phenomenal drums work by Haruna......

After watching the 'Thunder Vengeance' video from that concert, I started to realize that LOVEBITES was becoming my favorite band. This video is from the concert, which was released as 'Five of a Kind - Live in Tokyo 2020' (released: July 2020). The Blu-ray of 'Five of a Kind - Live in Tokyo 2020' reached #1 on the Japan 'Oricon Music Blu-ray Chart'.
💜Miho sings her song: 06:51 , 07:42 , 11:38. Unfortunately, Miho was the most underrated member of the band. Miho received the least attention from the fans, remaining in the shadow of Asami, Miyako, Midori, and Haruna.. It was only after she left that I realized how important Miho was to LOVEBITES

Her contribution to the success of LOVEBITES, including international success, is huge! Besides this, Miho could have written many more great songs for LOVEBITES. As great as these songs of hers: 'Thunder Vengeance', 'The Final Collision', 'The Hammer of Wrath', 'Burden of Time', 'The Unbroken', 'M.D.O.', 'Golden Destination', 'The Apocalypse'. With the 4 songs on "Awakening From Abyss", I'd say, that her peak on songwriting was 2017/18, which is almost 7 years ago. Her contribution to LOVEBITES will never be forgotten, but we should also not pretend, that the "Thrash" is gone with Miho. Take the new "LOVEBITES EP II" for example! They haven't lost it. And Miho needed to go that way, it's a win-win for both of them! It's no good to have someone in, who's not convicted to be in the right place!

Miho took part in the creation of 5 songs (35.7%) 2020 - 14 new songs. Miho took part in the creation of 4 songs (28.5%) Miho's activity in creating songs is approximately the same. The maximum difference between years is 5 - 7%. This is not a big deviation and therefore not essential. The Single 'Golden Destination' is the last release that included songs in the creation of which Miho took part. The single was released on February 19, 2020. LP 'Electric Pentagram' was released on January 29, 2020. It turns out that not "almost 7 years" have passed, but 4 years and 7 months. And if we take into account that Miho left on August 17, 2021, then (at the time of being in the group) she did not take part in the creation of songs for 1 year and 6 months! Why Miho left is a separate conversation. Another question is that Miho did not leave in one day! She had thoughts about leaving at least 1-1.5 years before she left. @@GrayFox14 I don't think, we are much apart with our opinion! Miho's departure was a loss, but probably inevitable. Normally, she would have written about half of the songs on "Glory, Glory, To The World", but she did none. Yes, EP (2020) was 4, almost 5 years ago, but her main output was 2018/19 plus/minus 1 year. But she was much more than this, she was band leader with a vision and many contacts (still has her network today!), headbanger and Metal idol, probably the most Metal lifestyle (which is not always helpful), delivered songs and interviews. It was really hard to find a successor (I don't like words like replacement or substitute here!) to fill her shoes, but Fami was a really good catch! She has proven to be able to fill that spot! LOVEBITES has been at a constant top level for years now (2017-2024), but how can you say it was more diverse after such a diverse EP like the newest "LOVEBITES EP II" ? That's 5 totally different songs! Imagine having a full LP in 2025 after this one!

Always looking forward to Lovebites Weds, thanks Team! A lesser known masterpiece is Today is the Day. This showcases some additional group talents, and is apparently a personal favourite of Haruna, who is having the time of her life behind the kit.
This is a good song with some great riffs, but I wouldn't count it among my absolute favourite Lovebites tracks. I love Haruna's short solo and her bell hits though.
Since some people, by chance, see the pentagram at the beginning and mistake them for Satanism, I will explain briefly. The pentagram has been used as a talisman around the world since ancient times, and has been used in almost the same role in the East, although the interpretation is slightly different. In Japan, it is sometimes called the “Seimei crest” because it was used as a family crest by “Seimei Abe,” a yin-yang master who served the emperor about 1,000 years ago. And it alludes to their third full-length album “ELECTRIC PENTAGRAM,” which was released a month before this concert was held, and the music they performed was also composed mainly from this album.
Usually when a pentagram symbolizes Satanism it is upside down so it looks like the two bottom points are horns. This is clearly more of a witchy type thing it's used for different purposes of course just like you explained. 😃
The reason why you notice the difference between the old catalog and the new one is because Miho composed many songs at the time, in fact she and Miyako were the main composers of the Band. Thunder Vengeance, The Hammer of Wrath, Burden of Time, MDO, The Final Collision, Golden Destination, Don't Bite The Dust, Journey To The Other Side and many others...maybe Fami has something more technically speaking, but Miho was an exceptional composer.

I recommend you all to watch THE TOWER OF BLOOD by Unlucky Morpheus (ANKIMO). Vocalist FUKI is a very popular female vocalist in Japan, and their performance is amazing, and the music is wonderful with its dramatic development.
No we didn't... I took it down ...I also removed their other reactions from the channel. Kinda sucks cuz we love them but it is what it is. I wrote a post about it you can see on the channel under posts which explains in detail. Long story short we would hate to get a strike with no warning and that's what they seem to be doing. Most artists will issue a claim and takedown request then give you a grace period to remove it. They seem to just strike the channel with no warning so fuck that... In the end all we were trying to do is bring their music to our audience which would have yielded more merch sales, ticket sales ect... But they kind of see it as we are stealing something from them when we don't make a penny. They get every single penny of advertising revenue from the video on top of everything else. So after taking that all into consideration the decision was pretty easy to remove it.. We won't be featuring them on the channel anymore.

I think it has an amazing riff and cadence, and it gets going out of the gate like a runaway locative and just doesn’t stop. I love Midori’s unhinged solo into Haruna solo/fill and that epic breakdown. Just doesn’t get any better than that. Miyako bringing it home at the end. Fell in love with Lovebites due to this song, so it always ranks pretty high up there for me.
I suggest you some less known but amazing songs of Lovebites: "Today is the day", "Signs of deliverance" and "Empty daydream". In these songs you can listen to the most wild and insane guitar solo by Miyako and Midori and a phenomenal drums work by Haruna......

💜Miho sings her song: 06:51 , 07:42 , 11:38. Unfortunately, Miho was the most underrated member of the band. Miho received the least attention from the fans, remaining in the shadow of Asami, Miyako, Midori, and Haruna.. It was only after she left that I realized how important Miho was to LOVEBITES

Besides this, Miho could have written many more great songs for LOVEBITES. As great as these songs of hers: 'Thunder Vengeance', 'The Final Collision', 'The Hammer of Wrath', 'Burden of Time', 'The Unbroken', 'M.D.O.', 'Golden Destination', 'The Apocalypse'. Or the songs that Miho composed together with Miyako: 'Break the Wall' and 'The Crusade'.

With the 4 songs on "Awakening From Abyss", I'd say, that her peak on songwriting was 2017/18, which is almost 7 years ago. Her contribution to LOVEBITES will never be forgotten, but we should also not pretend, that the "Thrash" is gone with Miho. Take the new "LOVEBITES EP II" for example! They haven't lost it. And Miho needed to go that way, it's a win-win for both of them! It's no good to have someone in, who's not convicted to be in the right place!

Miho's activity in creating songs is approximately the same. The maximum difference between years is 5 - 7%. This is not a big deviation and therefore not essential.
The Single 'Golden Destination' is the last release that included songs in the creation of which Miho took part. The single was released on February 19, 2020. LP 'Electric Pentagram' was released on January 29, 2020.
It turns out that not "almost 7 years" have passed, but 4 years and 7 months. And if we take into account that Miho left on August 17, 2021, then (at the time of being in the group) she did not take part in the creation of songs for 1 year and 6 months!
Why Miho left is a separate conversation. Another question is that Miho did not leave in one day! She had thoughts about leaving at least 1-1.5 years before she left. This is one of the main reasons why there were no songs of hers in the 2021 release (EP)! If Miho had stayed in the band, then I am sure that she would have written 30 - 35% of the songs for each release!
It is wrong to treat numbers and the concept of "peak"(on songwriting) in the way you treat them. 😊How can you determine the activity in a band as it applies to today of someone who left this band more than 3 years ago ??? 🤔This is a mystery to me. Sorry, but I don't understand this.
But, if we follow your logic and accept your rules of the game (although I am against such rules), then the peak of Miyako's composition .... (oh, 😳what a horror!) has also PASSED! It ended in 2020!😟

As for me personally, I consider Miho's departure a huge loss for LOVEBITES (for many reasons). I have learned a lot about Miho over the past few years. And that's why I say so.
Note: Miho has never been my favorite member of the band. My favorite member of the band (since the first day of discovering LOVEBITES music) and my #1 favorite guitarist is Midori! To be clear, Ritchie Blackmore (in his prime) is my #2 favorite guitarist.
As for the music. LOVEBITES is my #1 band. Miho is not only thrash. In Miho's time the music was more diverse and there were more thrash songs. This is my opinion.🤗 Nothing personal.🙏
@@GrayFox14 I don't think, we are much apart with our opinion! Miho's departure was a loss, but probably inevitable. Normally, she would have written about half of the songs on "Glory, Glory, To The World", but she did none. Yes, EP (2020) was 4, almost 5 years ago, but her main output was 2018/19 plus/minus 1 year. But she was much more than this, she was band leader with a vision and many contacts (still has her network today!), headbanger and Metal idol, probably the most Metal lifestyle (which is not always helpful), delivered songs and interviews. It was really hard to find a successor (I don't like words like replacement or substitute here!) to fill her shoes, but Fami was a really good catch! She has proven to be able to fill that spot! LOVEBITES has been at a constant top level for years now (2017-2024), but how can you say it was more diverse after such a diverse EP like the newest "LOVEBITES EP II" ? That's 5 totally different songs! Imagine having a full LP in 2025 after this one!
God of Thunder has been served. This is how to open a concert and setting the mood for the rest of it. I have the related Blue-ray and it’s mind-blowing. I also have the DVD of their excellent performance at Wacken Open Air, Germany, 2018. My next suggestions are “Above the Black Sea”, “Under the red sky”, “Dancing with the devil” (all live)

A lesser known masterpiece is Today is the Day. This showcases some additional group talents, and is apparently a personal favourite of Haruna, who is having the time of her life behind the kit.

This is a good song with some great riffs, but I wouldn't count it among my absolute favourite Lovebites tracks. I love Haruna's short solo and her bell hits though.
Since some people, by chance, see the pentagram at the beginning and mistake them for Satanism, I will explain briefly.
The pentagram has been used as a talisman around the world since ancient times, and has been used in almost the same role in the East, although the interpretation is slightly different. In Japan, it is sometimes called the “Seimei crest” because it was used as a family crest by “Seimei Abe,” a yin-yang master who served the emperor about 1,000 years ago.
And it alludes to their third full-length album “ELECTRIC PENTAGRAM,” which was released a month before this concert was held, and the music they performed was also composed mainly from this album.
Usually when a pentagram symbolizes Satanism it is upside down so it looks like the two bottom points are horns. This is clearly more of a witchy type thing it's used for different purposes of course just like you explained. 😃

The reason why you notice the difference between the old catalog and the new one is because Miho composed many songs at the time, in fact she and Miyako were the main composers of the Band. Thunder Vengeance, The Hammer of Wrath, Burden of Time, MDO, The Final Collision, Golden Destination, Don't Bite The Dust, Journey To The Other Side and many others...maybe Fami has something more technically speaking, but Miho was an exceptional composer.

Yes!! How Miho rocked (in Yokohama) even got on the big screen, which showed what was happening during the concert in the hall and on the stage. 😊And after the concert in Yokohama, Miho and Akira Takasaki from LOUDNESS met and talked with Steve Harris.
Miho attended two IRON MAIDEN concerts (September 26 in Tokyo and September 28 in Yokohama).
Miho also attended the concert of BRITISH LION (Steve Harris' band) which performed on September 25, 2024 in Tokyo.
The same concert as all of Lovebites attended. One of the few times I have seen Fami. with a band T that is not Lovebites.

you are correct - the main riff in 'scream for me' is relatively simple and easy to learn. now post a video of yourself doing the final solos and i'll be very impressed !! without a doubt the best guitar song i've ever heard. and m+m just make it look so damn easy. it ain't fair i tell ya !

I recommend you all to watch THE TOWER OF BLOOD by Unlucky Morpheus (ANKIMO). Vocalist FUKI is a very popular female vocalist in Japan, and their performance is amazing, and the music is wonderful with its dramatic development.

No we didn't... I took it down ...I also removed their other reactions from the channel. Kinda sucks cuz we love them but it is what it is. I wrote a post about it you can see on the channel under posts which explains in detail. Long story short we would hate to get a strike with no warning and that's what they seem to be doing. Most artists will issue a claim and takedown request then give you a grace period to remove it. They seem to just strike the channel with no warning so fuck that... In the end all we were trying to do is bring their music to our audience which would have yielded more merch sales, ticket sales ect... But they kind of see it as we are stealing something from them when we don't make a penny. They get every single penny of advertising revenue from the video on top of everything else. So after taking that all into consideration the decision was pretty easy to remove it.. We won't be featuring them on the channel anymore.

Never understood the logic of turning down free publicity but obviously someone connected to MTH thinks they don't need it .
