I play a lot of instruments in different genres but in the rock world you are the best teacher ever.i am teaching my son the guitar and piano.but like i always tell him know the song!! And you do a great job doing that so thank you!

There are some good lessons out there for Summer Nights. Just a pain in the a$$ to play without an old Steinberger with a trans trem. That's why Eddie really only played it on the 5150 tour and noone wants to transcribe it lol. Great song though!!!

The best EVH guitar lesson. I'm surprised this is much easier than I thought. Still hard to play it perfectly in time since it is fast and I'm always sloppy, but stuff like VH is much easier than like say Deep Purple or Scorpion who always play in the scale. The blues licks are in the same class as Eric Clapton I think, only faster. EVH is a magician with his bag of tricks.
Carl ALL your new lessons would be 10x better if you keep this new format!!! It’s awesome, but I’m sure it takes a lot of work. It’s a whole new level when you add the backing track and play the demos of each section!!
looks like a cool app but i hate subscription models i like to pay once not monthly plus ur great on youtube so why pay i learn more then enough from you and other lessons on youtube from different players. you are the best i just dig how you do it on here. thank you

Thanks for nice lesson. You should add some theory comments in your lesson (if possible, I know EVH doesn’t really stay inside traditional bounds). Also some comments on your setup would be helpful to get the level of distortion and sustain that is needed for the tapping and overall tone.
