The Sheltering Sky is quickly becoming my favourite Crimson song. I swear I've listened to it more times in the last week than in probably the past 30 years. What Vai does in that song is just incredible.
I wish these were complete tunes but major kudos for the much better camera work and the much better sound on this when compared to other videos I've seen of the first dates on this tour. Thanks so much for sharing this. Great job by the band. And to all of you that will be seeing this in the weeks to come - have a great time.
I ;like the way you edited this and segued the songs together I'm going 2 nights in a row end of September I can't think of a more exciting or better band to see and I've seen almost everybody huge including them with Fripp and Bruford.that was a different flavor ,Being a Vai and Tool fan this works well .
Does anyone know if these guys are playing to Click, curious because a few of the tunes Carey has sped up a bit to get them into a different slot then what its started at? No big deal just curious. I know zillions of bands are playing with tracks these days. Kind of of goes against the principle of this band though these guys are into improv, and thank goodness for this!. Just something that crossed my mind.

There are plenty of individual songs videos up. Also one complete show in full though it is audio only. Just search around.
I agree it’s great camera work and quality, but it cuts out from the songs at the 1:33 worst possible time! At least for my snobby arse.
@@fluxy-b You're not snobby. The cutting of tunes is definitely a bummer.
I will be going to this show, not one of the biggest but definitely one of the most exciting of the year. Legendary music
Saw the King Crimson twice 1982 and 1984 will not be going to this. Miss Fripp/Bruford
This is amazing. The original lineup was mind bending!!! But time, and space. This group is absolutely brilliant, though!
Completely GELLED!

Is there somewhere a good sound recording of this event ? I will damn myself to obtain one ! that's so far above what we hear today. Fantastique !
Crazy editing is really jarring.
Yeah. It makes it suck huge
@@jackg9581yall realise he probably doesnt want to sit there and hold up a camera the whole time right?
It’s fun to compare these videos to the videos from the 1982 tour, esp the one from Munich.
Original was way better
Would’ve loved seeing Crimson with Jamie Muir
