This is a truly super supergroup. I could easily listen to a half-hour of them at work tinkering and tooling around with the sinister sounds of "Industry."
@@jamieflowers1493 Belew and Levin aren't covering themselves. It'd be like saying the latest incarnation of King Crimson was a cover band because Fripp was the only original player on many of those songs. When BEAT plays 'Red,' then they are a cover band.
I'm 49 years old I was fortunate enough in the 90s in New Orleans at the House of Blues to see the two band lineup of King Crimson one side of the stage Trey Gunn Adrian belew and Pat mastelotto the other band Robert Fripp Bill bruford and Tony Levin don't get me wrong this is amazing I respect the shit out of this but what I saw on the 90s was one of the greatest musical movements I've ever seen no photography and no smoking
Yes, I saw the same lineup 1996 in Munich at the "Philharmonic Hall", where usually only classical music is played. At the time of the Album "Thrak". Great experience. Never saw King Crimson live again, because I doubt anything can be as good as it was then.
@@flguitarslinger I think your are finally right! I have done quick research and nothing came out for those three together, i guess I mixed some memories…
I love Vai, I love Danny, but how I wish Fripp/Bruford/Pat this tour. This is only me. No hate, or sorry. Just fantasy! Anyway, love that this great music lives the new way!! Big fan from the biggest country for many many years! Peace!
Man it's great to hear Vai play these parts.
In fact, it is great to see him playing non metal guitar parts ❤
If this wonderful quartet doesn't make some new music together, at some point, I promise to go postal.

Yyaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
What an incredible lineup....thanks for sharing!!
Fabulous work from maestro Steve Vai. What a sweet chemistry he and Adrian Belew already have!
They have been playing together a long Time ago with Zappa.
@@faure-georsremi4540 I thought Belew didn't arrive with Zappa until about the time Via departed.

@@faure-georsremi4540 Adrian played with Zappa 1977 - 78. Vai didn't join Zappa's band until 1980. Adrian was there first.
@@kpaasial thanks for the precision
This is the band playing I've wanted to see!
If aliens talk about their beautiful and scary landscapes it might sound like this. Stunning to get to hear this live! Just fucking great.

A LVL 99 Band, ladies and gentlemen.
It's super fun. The absence of Fripp is deafening however.
Very cool!
Fuck this is beautiful.
❤
Adrian Belew doesn't play guitars. He tortures them.
