You're lucky to have so many FIENDS to go adventuring with. I'm hoping to get out for an overnight in my area as the forecast shows colder towards the end of the week. Need some frost to reset the ice again. My studded Wrathchilds have so much grip at the expense of rolling resistance. My dream trip would be to do a canoe route in Temagami on frozen lakes if there was little to no snow. Cheers from North Bay!
Thanks. Was wondering where you are based. The Ottawa region has a lot of adventurous souls. We somehow find ourselves and range in age from early 20s to 60s.
Great video mate, awesome trip! A lot of my friends don’t understand why I do some of the things that I do, they say “You’re crazy, that cannot be enjoyable!” I tell them that it’s a bit like hitting yourself in the head with a hammer, it feels so good when you stop! Get out of your comfort zone people, you only live once and you can’t go back and give it a better shot when you reach the end of your race. Best wishes from Down Under mate 👍🇦🇺
It’s excellent that you are riding with an e-bike. They make cycling a lot of fun for a variety of people either due to age, or health issues, or just to make it easier to go farther distances. Where in the world do you live? Are you in a warm climate? If so, doing an overnight trip may be easier. Winter is hard with all the gear and the safety factors and risk, cold, sliding on ice, freezing, hypothermia etc. The other challenge with an e-bike, as I am sure you know is charging the battery. But I am sure you can find a way to do it. Find a friend who can carry most of the gear and maybe a spare battery for you and plan a short ride into the campsite. 20-30km and make the trip all about the experience and not about riding gnarly trails with risky and icy descents.

Love this! Embrace the winter adventures!
Thanks Meaghan! It was a blast making the video. But even more fun spending time with friends and challenging myself on two wheels.
Cheers, Gene! What a great adventure!
Thanks Bonnie!

Thanks so much Greg! Sounds like we are wired the same way! Not many people get it when I tell them or show them these videos! Yes, we only love once.
That is a great time! I really enjoy bike packing. As well, what a great place to do it.
We are lucky to have the North Frontenac Forest not too far from Ottawa. You can get “lost” for days in the forest roads and trails.
Go Gene go!!!😊
