My biggest disappointment is Chuck didn't unite with his mother. This was one of the main mysteries in the show anyway. I would have expected a union and hug between Chuck and Elizabeth (whom had been implied, denied and re-implied to be his mother in earlier seasons) or whoever she is. Chuck didn't have a father who loved him, so he at least deserved a mother at the end. She should have returned in a cameo like others at Serena&Dan wedding.

He was a weirdo in season one, but I think the show did a good job deconstructing him. His therapist said it best: “You never had a childhood and so you behave like a child in the worst ways. You pay for intimacy so you're always in control and no one can get close to you. Your superficial connections and lack of authentic emotion leave you isolated and alone. Not just tonight, always.” For a long time, Chuck kept everybody at arm’s length, and really only let Nate in. Blair got in by association with Nate. He grew to care for her as a friend, and eventually fell in love with her moxie. The rest is history.
I'm happy for Dan and Serena but the fact that Lily and William got back together broke my heart, Lily and Rufus was such a beautiful couple and you could really see how much they loved each other
I think the focus was on Chuck's interaction due to his upbringing and how much of his storyline consisted of his relationship with his dad , so in that matter it makes sense

I just recently watched this all the way through on Netflix. I’m really mad that after seasons of riding the emotional roller coaster of Chuck and Blair that they didn’t give them a better ending. Blair deserved a grand, romantic proposal from Chuck. They made their long awaited engagement a business transaction and gave them a two second wedding. I would’ve loved to hear them say vows about how they’re finally together. I just feel like their ending was super rushed and they are probably the couple that viewers were the most invested in.
I agree. But I wouldn’t call it a business transaction. They were always planning to get married, but Chuck had gambled his future with Bass Enterprise to buy Blair’s freedom with the whole dowry situation. They both agreed to wait for each other until their future’s were secure. Chuck didn’t want to marry Blair in a courthouse, and remedied the situation by inviting their families to an impromptu wedding in the park. I really wish we had gotten a proper engagement and wedding, but Chuck and Blair’s wedding was very Bonnie and Clyde. I love their wedding kiss, and the fact that Chuck holds onto Blair until the police take him away.
I remember when I first watched this and from the moment You’ve Got The Love started playing till the end I had the biggest smile on my face. It was a bittersweet moment because all the characters are happy but the shows coming to a end and we won’t get to see them on there future journeys 😢

Ok, guys this is my humble opinion. Blake Lively is an amazing actress and a great person but I never really liked her charaster as Serena. She was boring overall especially with Dan and you can sense that from that last scene. The way they smiled at each other, especially Dan, was just so awkward and they were getting married!!! 😂😅So I always liked Blair and Chuck more and I felt like they were the main characters of the show since their story and them as characters outshined all the others in my opinion. Don't get me wrong but I think what we mostly remember from this show is Chuck and Blair and they still are one of the best and most interesting couples with the most chemistry in many TV series.The way the plot progressed around them, how they matured from start to finish, developed as characters and had a family was the most reasonable thing in this whole show. 😍😍😍😍😍
Well considering Blake and Penn's real life romance had ended then I could understand there would be some who perceive there to be a litre awkwardness between them particularly in this last series and episode. However even saying that, their chemistry in the first few seasons when they had gotten together off screen was amazing and electrifying IMO.

I was mad that the last season was only 10 episodes. I just recently watched the whole thing and I’m still confused as to why it was so short. They could’ve done so much more to set up for the ending in another 5-10 episodes. Also I’m really upset that after seasons of Blair and Chuck going back and forth with each other that we didn’t get some big grand proposal for her. They got engaged because she wouldn’t have to testify against him...what?? That part was so weird.

I just recently watched this all the way through on Netflix. I’m really mad that after seasons of riding the emotional roller coaster of Chuck and Blair that they didn’t give them a better ending. Blair deserved a grand, romantic proposal from Chuck. They made their long awaited engagement a business transaction and gave them a two second wedding. I would’ve loved to hear them say vows about how they’re finally together. I just feel like their ending was super rushed and they are probably the couple that viewers were the most invested in.
I agree. But I wouldn’t call it a business transaction. They were always planning to get married, but Chuck had gambled his future with Bass Enterprise to buy Blair’s freedom with the whole dowry situation. They both agreed to wait for each other until their future’s were secure. Chuck didn’t want to marry Blair in a courthouse, and remedied the situation by inviting their families to an impromptu wedding in the park. I really wish we had gotten a proper engagement and wedding, but Chuck and Blair’s wedding was very Bonnie and Clyde. I love their wedding kiss, and the fact that Chuck holds onto Blair until the police take him away.

I remember when I first watched this and from the moment You’ve Got The Love started playing till the end I had the biggest smile on my face. It was a bittersweet moment because all the characters are happy but the shows coming to a end and we won’t get to see them on there future journeys 😢

Ok, guys this is my humble opinion. Blake Lively is an amazing actress and a great person but I never really liked her charaster as Serena. She was boring overall especially with Dan and you can sense that from that last scene. The way they smiled at each other, especially Dan, was just so awkward and they were getting married!!! 😂😅So I always liked Blair and Chuck more and I felt like they were the main characters of the show since their story and them as characters outshined all the others in my opinion. Don't get me wrong but I think what we mostly remember from this show is Chuck and Blair and they still are one of the best and most interesting couples with the most chemistry in many TV series.The way the plot progressed around them, how they matured from start to finish, developed as characters and had a family was the most reasonable thing in this whole show. 😍😍😍😍😍
Well considering Blake and Penn's real life romance had ended then I could understand there would be some who perceive there to be a litre awkwardness between them particularly in this last series and episode.
However even saying that, their chemistry in the first few seasons when they had gotten together off screen was amazing and electrifying IMO.

I was mad that the last season was only 10 episodes. I just recently watched the whole thing and I’m still confused as to why it was so short. They could’ve done so much more to set up for the ending in another 5-10 episodes. Also I’m really upset that after seasons of Blair and Chuck going back and forth with each other that we didn’t get some big grand proposal for her. They got engaged because she wouldn’t have to testify against him...what?? That part was so weird.
