Thanks for the Amazon link for the Eheim heater. I picked up another 100W as a back up because of the great price! I use 50W Eheim's in my 5 ten gallon tanks. Never had a problem with them. I use the cheap 50W Tetra heaters in my 3 Marineland Portrait 5 gallon tanks. They've been very reliable as well. I think I may try the Hygger heaters you mentioned. Being able to change the temp outside of the tank is a nice feature.

Awesome! Yea the price is really good the that heater. I’ve never heard anything bad. Having a spare is always handy and at the very least it keeps peace of mind. Hope you’re doing well Rob!
