Really well done on the filming & editing., too. Tight and succinct. Im learning to edit right now and picked up a couple ideas to try. Keep up the stellar production 🤙🏽

You gave A.I. "your idea". A.I. made suggestions. You refined it's suggestions and made it yours. You played the instruments, you sang the lyrics with "your melody". You did this all in "your style". If A.I. had attempted the entire process it would have been something completely different. Therefore "you" wrote this song. A.I. was a collaborator. Great song by the way, you should copyright it, continue producing it and release it. Sounds like a hit to me.
I would disagree with the statement "this song was written by AI". It's confusing though. You wrote this song, but then again you didn't write the song. It seems like it's more of a collaboration, but that doesn't really sound right either. Maybe it was "inspired by AI". Or maybe it did "write" it, but you acted not only as the producer, but also the engineer, and performer. It think this is what is exciting and also disconcerting about AI. It's sort of uncharted waters that is going to require a new way of thinking, interacting, and relating to the intersection of technology and creativity. I think it's going to take a while for us to all wrap our minds around this new reality/paradigm. Thank you for using your talent to grapple with this!

If there's one thing I've learned it's that technology has the tendency to strip the humanity out of music, which is one of music's most compelling traits. It will indeed be interesting to see what the future holds, and it is indeed a hell of a time to be alive!
Nice work, a great example of how AI can be used to help create. As long as we can still make decisions on our own, we will be okay. If that freedom is taken away...

Everyone who wants cheap/free art, offering artists work "for exposure" finally has their cheap labor. That's a big problem solved. I think plenty of people will still appreciate human creativity. For me nothing beats live music and improvisation - even the simplest of tunes. And the connection I have with another human while playing together- that is unbeatable. But first - a lot of creators will lose their job though..that sucks. It will get better later - it might open up the arts to everyone - as a hobby - and not as a way to make a living - which can get stressful and uncreative from my experience..
I agree the future should be bright freed from soulless drudgery for some and "pays the bills" jobs for many but the interim bleak I fear but needn't be if we recognised the urgency and start actively planning and managing the transition starting now not leave it to sprit and ghost of market forces but alas history be our guide fail to act quickly enough with many as some are already will feel much pain unnecessarily. 😢

My thought is to replace the highlighted guitar with synths and keyboard 🎹 but instrumentation. Lose the organ. Make the backing guitars a bit more emo. Perhaps tamper down the drums etc. make the vocal more emo. Ha! I guess I think it should be an emo synth pop influenced track for Manga.
I don’t know, they gave you a chord progression and lyrics but this could have been performed 100 different ways. It’s good because of how you handled it. It didn’t choose your guitar tone or the melody.
I've always wondered what it means to "write a song". Is it the person who writes the lyrics, or the person who puts the chords and melody to it? I'd say it's a combination of both. I suppose I wrote this song is collaboration with ChatGPT.
