Great video thanks. I took ownership of mine a few weeks ago with the full panniers and Givi top box. I was a newcomer to the quick shift but got used to it within seconds and wouldn’t look back!! Waiting for this bloody weather to clear!!
That's the touring screen fitted to that bike, when I test ride the GT I found the touring screen awful and my dealer changed it back to standard for me and it was 100 times better. I'm 5'll. Bought one in black and love it.
Nice looking and sounding bike. I think Suzuki need to start incorporating IMU’s on this as the competition all seem to have them and adds some extra safety on what is a quick road bike. That said I think it looks better than the Kawasaki personally
Hey Lofty, Fish here. What did you think of the windscreen? I'm 5'8" and your a head taller. Absurd thing to ask I guess. I'm not sure if you could shrink yourself to my height! LOL
PMSL shink a Quart into a Pint pot.....I found the screen ok..I was well above so in smooth clean air.......try before you buy...pehaps a double bubble?
Hi Lofty.. Great video.. Not the bike for me although it sounds cracking.. Need decent passenger seat and centre stand.. Are you going to review the new Yamaha Tracer 900 GT plus..??
I did a lot of research into this bike (decided on the naked, non-GT version and loving it). I believe the windscreen causes issue for riders around 6'1 and above. I.e. at 5'8 I believe the windscreen should be a perfect fit. Beyond that I would recommend the bike.. Obviously I don't know your preferences/needs etc but the engine and ergonomics are amazing. It is properly rapid, easy handling and confidence inspiring as hell. The GT has a big advantage over the naked beyond the fairings and touring capacity as well - a TFT dash that is pretty good looking!

Did you get to use the cruise control much on it? What were your thoughts? I haven’t tried it yet and seems counter intuitive to the way I ride bikes?
@@richie4421 Time and Place....I use all cruise controls, love them....but thats me
Great review. I've had mine just over a year now and still loving it.
Thanks for watching.....it's a great bike
Great review. I have subscribed. Another video supporting my decision of the S1000 GT as my next bike. Thanks!

I have that bike in black, but I can't believe how good it is on fuel I have been getting nearly 60mpg.
PMSL thrash it more 😅🤣😂 Thanks for watching..it's a great bike
I know you reviewed the vstrom 800 re more recently but would the vstrom be a good cheaper alternative to this one?
For a big lad I'd go Strom.....but there are discounts to be had on the GT currently.....thanks for watching
