I stumbled across your videos in the summer, I really Enjoyed your teaching techniques and you got me started painting blanks in September, I’m retired and wanted a hobby to keep my hands and mind busy, I really enjoy it, I’m just painting myself a collection of baits because I’ve fished most of my life. Glad to see you posting videos again, I have a lot to learn, Thanks
So I have just gotten my 1st bait painted with the help of your channel !!! This is going to be something I can't put down . Keep up the good work !!!!
Glad to see your back , we have all missed your talent, Would you think about doing a tutorial on cleaning an air brush i fight it constantly and know I am doing something wrong, keep up the great work.
I am happy to see you're making more videos! I hand carve lures from wood and often reference your channel for inspiration on what to paint them. You're a fantastic teacher! Thank you for making these videos.
I love your work, you make it look so easy. I did some airbrushing back in the 90s, I've been trying to do a few lures but there nothing like yours. Being 65 things aren't as easy to learn.
Thank you! Cranking out some simple patterns are the way to go. A lot of times I’ll “warm up” with something super simple and then move on to the more in depth patterns
So glad to see you back! For what it's worth, I wish you would stop the fast action style. I'm a beginner and have watched every video you have on TH-cam, it seems I'm just watching, not learning as much. But welcome back, please keep posting, and many thanks.
Theres a easier way to do the white on the ear, just use the same stencil you do the black with and slide it back just a touch, then when doing the black put it in the nornal spot youd want the black. It will leave just a little spot of white and cover the rest with black. That bait looks good and i may try a similoar pattern myself when i get some more colors in. I still need some detailing colors. I do a decent gill now but i want to get it a little lighter in areas. That pearl pineapple is one if my favorite colors on gills and some other patterns lol.
@@BakerBuilds just takes a drop or two to spray the white first lol. I find very few actual bluegill with that white but it sure does make the bait pop in that area lol.
What a great blue gill pattern. I'm anxiously awaiting my stencils and some more colors to try one myself

Yea right on, I was just trying to save some paint since I would have had more white in the airbrush then what was used on the bait haha

What glue do I use for my eyes?
I just use normal super glue. Using the gel kind helps keep it from running everywhere 👍
