    Don't you put to much stress on the hinge of the trollyhandle?
    I would rather glue and duct tape 3 or 4 yoga blocks together to make one single block. And cut out the handle shape. Drill a hole to each side of the single block for a rope.
    Stick some gel pads on top of the block.
    The block shouldn't rest on the handle.

    Kind of a weird question: With the shock absorber that you're mounting the seat on the seat is tilted up. Does it cause any discomfort with your junk when sitting down?

    • @ElectricUnicycles
      @ElectricUnicycles  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      In practice it doesn't. But as I mention in the video, it's easy to adjust the angle. It's actually not very comfortable when the seat is level or pointing down, when you are descending hills. Can feel like you're sliding down.

    Do you think this video could apply to the V8s?

    • @ElectricUnicycles
      @ElectricUnicycles  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes. This technique, using the bicycle seat spring mount, will work with all EUC's that have a similar handle. I'm used it on multiple wheels. I would only caution you that the V8 is a small wheel so it may be too short to be effective for seated riding.

  • @thebladeofhades4507
    @thebladeofhades4507 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Love your seat mods, I know you have a bunch of wheels, have you thought about when using a block you could drill two horizontal holes for the seat mount to make one seat interchangeable between all your wheels that you mod.
    One seat and a bunch of custom blocks tailored to each wheel.

    • @ElectricUnicycles

I am sure that a seat would help, and your video is of great help, because the seat is neither too high nor too bulky, and besides, I would already have the right one, I should only buy the seatpost to put under it. But I would also add an additional fixing, so that the stresses are discharged on the frame and not on the handle.

      Steve O you think the slot in the seat is solely there for the purpose of allowing access to the bolt if it’s facing up? Do you have a reason to think that it’s not for ergonomic reasons? I always thought it was there to relieve stress on your tailbone. Your Coccyx. I didn’t think access to the bolt was normally a problem, but that’s a clever idea to flip it up.
