I don't care about plastic, I want solid structure that's why I préfère the s18, it has proven that it is insanely solid. If was only cruising and not leaving in France where streets are litteraly CRAPPY or paved, where everything is not that far, I would consider v11 but I'm way to impulsive and trying things whenever I ride, so I would feel limited by the v11 in those occasions. Good review, the 11 tire blow out and board burn, especially with super high pedals is a recipe for a hard face plant. I’ll stick with my z10 for awhile
I’ve got a Z10 and S18. The Z10 has stronger hill climbing and better acceleration but the best is the bigger tyre and how you can corner by locking the outside leg keeping the wheel upright and leaning into the corner - that is so enjoyable and stable and no chance of catching your pedal. The S18 has suspension so I don’t superman if I hit a hidden tree root or hole and it’s more nimble at the cost of less stability. If I could add suspension to the Z10 it would be amazing but alas, its hard to change your riding style back and forth so I’ll be selling the Z10.

Do you think that the different suspension design is what's affecting the ride feel? Specifically that the V11 is essentially an EUC with "suspension pedals" whereas the S18's suspension is more like a typical vehicle where the body/pedals are a single unit and the wheel moves? There is one huge drawback to V11 i didn't think about till today: a guy fell down from his EUC and the hit came to the outer parts of suspension and crushed it into pieces. From this piont of view S18 looks stronger because weak parts are hidden inside wheel's budy.
Well if you paid attention to the details of his crash the wheel kept going and hit a truck even denting the truck, that type of crash is bound to do damage.
What concerned me about his crash was that the V11’s suspension can throw your feet off. Chooch pretty much says the same. And I am not I to having to make custom stuff. I don’t have skills like that. Now I’m concerned about my pre-order.
Great review chooch, nice to get a real comparison between the two of these. Just a note on presentation: you might try standing behind the wheels so that you can look at them and the camera at the same time. Staring at the back of your head is a bit awkward, and it messes with the audio as well.
Some guy crashed his brand new S18-2 when he fell off over small unmarked speed bump here in Moscow, one might question his skills, but the wheel landed on top right gap near front light, that's where battery corner is, and the part of the frame which holds right battery cracked open through the screw on top side of battery box. I hope it's just bad luck, poor guy, but I'm going to put some protection on my S18 when it arrives.
I wouldn't bet a dime on what Hsiang have said on how his V11 broke apart after his crash. He couldn't even back it up with video. According to him, he didn't even remember what happened. He was too busy trying to pull his soul back into his human body right after the crash. Who knows if his wheel was ran over by cars behind him. He's a youtuber, he knows how to get perks for free.
We have the inmotion V11 and really love them. My headlight Rome and they sent me a new one. Do you know how to replace them? I can see to anyone out there thinking about get one of these just go for it. They are a blast for sure.
Awkward, could it be the batteires+body arent suspended like on s18 (less undamped weight). Its like having a light motor bike with only pedals damped.
I was all about the v11 but there are a few videos where that thing gets totalled after just one crash. That's not something they can fix by launch right?
Well after seeing what happened to hsiang Crash on V11 and someother professional rider where his V11 wheel Burned out, I do not think V11 meet the Safety standards anymore. No matter what they said the S18 is a much better choice when it comes to Safety concerns.

And NY crush. As for S18, we already have here in Russia a case when on just 25 km/h a guy haven't noticed a bump and broken a metal (!) plate on the top of the wheel (the one where all suspension rails come into) into two parts, it appeared that it is made of a powder metal of a very bad quality. Also, suspension doesn't work good on production S18 due to rails jamming and broken bearings (there are 14 of them inside suspension system btw and as the first owners who has disassambled their wheels say half of the bearings are come in unsafisfactory condition). Thus, looks like there is no much advantage in production S18 having 3kg more weight than preproduction one. After Speedyfit feeback regarding wobbling Kingsong increased the thickness of upper pads. As the result noone likes the new ones and custom designs are already created. I've preorderded S18 and should get the one in about 3-5 days but looks like instead of the riding I will be doing disassambling and fixing the first week or two. So both wheels have a lot of realability and quality problems
Personally I don't believe the avg rider will be facing hills like Overheat Hill ... although a great "test" ... that sort of a riding condition is likely rare. As far as the crash in NYC ... I don't think any wheel that hits the back end of a steel truck probably doing 20mph would fair much better ... the V11 has been dropped and knocked over like any wheel without any major shattering ... so again ... not a big concern to me ... After putting 1000km on a mini-segway ... lol ... I need more than 10mph and 90 min of riding time. I'm a cruiser on bike paths and the side of the highway and with some pads .. will try some trails ... so for me ... V11 all the way.

Thanks in advance! :)
@@TheLillianYoung true that's a valid concern
Awesome video really appreciate it I guess my next one's gonna be the V11 if I can get one
I need something to play. So I decided for S18. I‘ m waiting......
Great review chooch, nice to get a real comparison between the two of these.
Just a note on presentation: you might try standing behind the wheels so that you can look at them and the camera at the same time. Staring at the back of your head is a bit awkward, and it messes with the audio as well.
S 18 it is... Trails here i come!
heck yea! you will love it!! im trying to get the ole demo one back from NYC lol!! Cheers!
Merci pour ta vidéo il semble que ton chat préfère S18.
Z10 quality? I think Hsiang will disagree pretty hard since his poor v11 didn't survive a single crash.
tapping screws in plastic shell with cracks in these places. Good quality.
Hsiang had Z10, Inmotion v11 and a GW Monster die under him. I dont blame Hsiang for that - I think its poor quality in general.
@@paveltroev8221 can you provide a link to this case (video or article)? Would like to read more.
I know they're different wheels bro for different styles, but since they're both not out yet, which one you buying? The s20 or the abrams?
We have the inmotion V11 and really love them. My headlight Rome and they sent me a new one. Do you know how to replace them? I can see to anyone out there thinking about get one of these just go for it. They are a blast for sure.
This is a great comparison. Thx from Canada
S18 the best!
We tottally agree!
@@Eletricz hahaha Brazil !
@Eletricz 🙌
Awkward, could it be the batteires+body arent suspended like on s18 (less undamped weight). Its like having a light motor bike with only pedals damped.
BigBadBoogie that’s exactly what I’m thinking good way to put it
Where can you buy the King Song?
What non suspension euc would you say the in motion v11 feels like power and torque wise
Thanks for the great vid! Where can I get the pads?
Jihoon Han put the link below it’s a great deal for a ton of padding
What material are the side pads? Where did you buy them?
Suspension is the new gen.
Idk I think I like the ex better than both but not for beginners for sure...lol
Which one is smoother over sidewalk seams?
So you like the 18 more but I will wait till they improve the battery
I was all about the v11 but there are a few videos where that thing gets totalled after just one crash. That's not something they can fix by launch right?
Nice video, Chooch
Well after seeing what happened to hsiang Crash on V11 and someother professional rider where his V11 wheel Burned out, I do not think V11 meet the Safety standards anymore. No matter what they said the S18 is a much better choice when it comes to Safety concerns.
@Chooch Tech i see how hard it is just to pick only one wheel😅 good video once again🤙🏻
im thinking about the s18 for my frist EUC
stop thinking and go for it if I would have had the s18 for my first wheel I would have fallen in love with the hobby even more.
Great review! I really like the added pads you are using. Can you post the link on my comment or at least tell me the brand and supplier. Thanks!
Quinton DeMarco Bennett it’s linked below my friend
@@choochtech Sorry I did not see that, thank you!
Kiss the cat for me
Thanks Chooch! One question. MSP or V11? ;)
Pawel Wisniowski that’s a hard one. I have been having a hard time riding my non suspension wheels it feels like I’m missing something
MSP, ( V11 опасное для поездок, так как корпус воздушного амортизатора находится ниже линии педалей, это будущая причина падений)
@@aleksandrselivanov6514 thanks for comment, I was able to test the V11, and not experienced such issue: th-cam.com/video/GBOWG6hZgs8/w-d-xo.html
Seems that the best solution is to have both of them :)
Chill cat!
The V11 I get wobbles at high speed might be that I need pads to grip it better
Hola, podrías poner subtitulo en español para ir conociendo la características
y qué rueda tienes actualmente ?
i just got a white s18 im ready to ride on the street im pretty much good riding in my basement
"Hit it and float with it"
I’m confused. You praised the V11 on your “mountain bike track” video the most and now switched to the S18? 🤔
He praises both.
For my analogy
V11 = sedan
S18 = Jeep
I see what you mean I felt the same, even in the chooch and changes video he kept the same speech. But I think after the riding the s18 for so long and it still working fine, and everythingg that has happened trough youtubers reviews' around the world. He had make it clear, this video is about all this, plus his preference regarding his riding style
Very informative video
S18 or Veteran? First wheel, not sure what I should aim for.
Hey bro, go for a S18 as your first wheel... Veteran is pretty heavy and you will have a lot of trouble to learn on this wheel. Besides, you wont go beyond 30 mph in a short term, It requires some experience to reach high speeds
@AnsiTiv you want honesty? go for a Msp or wait for the Monster Pro see what is coming soon might change youre mind! changing a tire on the veteran required a full dissambly🤔 i do not recommend first row on euc wait they fix problems
Neither. I am telling you from experience learning on my V10f then teaching my girlfriend on her V8f that you should get a used, shit, short wheel to get a handle on like the V8f or lower then make a choice.
@@AstrotardJones I pre-paid V11 not knowing how to ride EUC and yesterday I had a chance of try-n-compare live units of V11 and KS18L
I think your comment is sooo sooo underrated
Weight and size is definitely a thing for a new riders
while I was able to get SOME sort handle for KS18L and ride like 30-40 meters on it(yay)
I was NOT able to get a grip for V11 in the same manner. Barely made a meter on it or so before losing balance, even holding it with your leg is hard and tiresome
The Nikola was my first wheel. I put 300 miles on it in 2 weeks and I’m very glad I didn’t get a lower end wheel first. Unless you got tons of money just buy whatever wheel you want and go from there. Even the veteran. Ya it’ll take you some time to get comfortable on and you will get super frustrated but once it all clicks....you’ll be glad you got a high end wheel.
I want the comfort of the v11. My roads are so crack and bumpy but I keep hearing that the v11 is a bad first wheel
go for it it aint a bad first wheel really you will just never like a non suspension wheel as much
@@choochtech thanks for the reply, I ride an electric skateboard. I feel every crack and bump. I'm ready for something softer on my knees.
THANK.

Overheat Hill... V11 fail... comments?
Arseniy Fomin wow! That sounds really bad.
just don't fuсk your device )
@@arseniyfomin is this why King song released a full assembly/disassembly video for S18?!😅
Rolling the dice quality with S18 , yikes.
If this was my wheel I would just go to the what craft store? I couldn't hear you. 2:48
I just got my s18
Have you got a theory about Shaun’s V11 crash.
He had way too much air in the chambers, you can see how high up his pedals are. No sag at all
chooch tech
They do look high, but as I don’t know how high they should be I took it as ok. Makes sense that he got “bounced” off. How do you think the tyre damage happened? I thought the collision with the truck but Sean said he doubted it.
@@thechumpsbeendumped.7797 they were extremely high and stiff I would bet the wheel bounced hit full speed and when it landed it exploded basically
Your vids are usually some of my faves, Chooch, but this one wasn't great. Needed to do a better job articulating the differences between the suspension in practice. You cover it, but it needs to be the bulk of the vid.
BBC is vile.. 🤯🤯😠😠😠😡😡Thank you Andrew and Tristan tate you help save my life thank you... ❤❤❤. My prayers 🙏🏽🙏🏽are with you both.. Thank you ❤❤❤
After the tests our guys are done, S18 have a better suspension and assembly quality
I wouldnt get KingSong because they lock your wheels for no reason
nah it was a thing they did because alieexpress screwed with the agreement they had. Any wheel bought through my link or ewheels will be fine. Cheers!
Hey, show your cats face.
