Megumi, Urara, and Tomari. The fighters in Japan spend their days training as well. Michiru is summoned by Jinki and heads to Ariake Arena in order to unveil the plot underlying Deluxe. But what awaited him was a terrifying power instead.

Michiru's fights are always fun to watch you could tell he was constantly trying to figure out what the strategy of Dragontree was so he could counter it
20:45 still over here but why do I feel like Michiru is about to lose and vanish like those rumours. That Naruto like Divine Tree is going to consume Michiru's skills and maybe transfer it to Sophie

I like how the arts of the calamity cards depict the "seed" (Or Griphosid) that travels from an alien world to what looks like planet cray in the Grade 3 calamity card art. Just looks really cool.

Like someone else said, this was another great episode yet horrifying if you think about it and while that “No Guard” at the end was chilling, I gotta give “Daiki Yamashita” major credit for his vocal performance here, he really did an exceptional job of portraying Jinki and how antagonizing he was, especially during his cardfight with Michiru because you can definitely tell he was having a blast with this alongside the fact that music score and the visuals were very beautiful, I would argue that this is not just my personal favorite cardfight but my favorite episode from this season, its surreal that they made Grade 10 cards, yet it did!!! 😈🤩✨
His voice was good but I want to see how they do it in English
Imagine like dragontree are actually corpses of past zeroth dragons and that's why the units that can use are actually using zeroth dragon corpses , this is a theory because the similarities between it and zeroth dragons as well as the fact canonically overdress is after gyze death .
I honestly like that for once a top level player sees something clearly otherworldly and will clearly screw up everything and just goes ‘that’s really cool’. It’s very refreshing.
This is like when Kai fought Takuto in OG Link Joker arc! And 15:34 is so much like the Zeroth Dragon OST!
The moment in this episode is exactly the same as when Kai fought Takuto in Link Joker. The protagonist who is the top rank fights the villain of the story first. Before losing and being invited to go to the same side
Yeah. Except Kai wasn't top ranked anymore, as he felt Aichi and Ren both surpassed him. Thus, he would join Link Joker to gain the power to defeat them.

Jinki is one creepy bastard but I’m always a sucker for Apocalyptic/ Calamity motifs and that thing about the “ultimate fighter” makes me think human experiments like what we see at the end of G season one with Taiyou. Very hooked, take me along for the ride Vanguard

Ok this episode is actually 🔥 and michiru being the villain is his way of revenge for overtrigger
The ultimate fighter thing was hinted at various times .The computer at the start that talked to Michiru, the headphones activating and now Jinki has two souls (red color matches too)... The quantum supercomputer shown in the opening of the first season.... and the whole point in making a deluxe circuit (collecting data). I'm excited to see how it goes

Wow, this episode definitely blew me away. Jinki's fight against Michiru has the expected result but it's spine chilling. Jinki's deck is giving both Deletor/Gyze vibes, due to it being able to mix with different nations and being alien in origin, but also having a unique ride line, skil and win condition that even gets Michiru excited and say "No Guard" in a spine chilling way. As for the rest of this episode I enjoyed it as well, it's nice to see Megumi again and is getting more attention than usual at school due to her participating in the Deluxe and Urara joining the same group as Raika's to connect with the front and counter fighters is actually a nice way to progress her character. As for project Uniformers itself, I think it's more than just creating the "ultimate fighter", especially since Jinki never explained on how the process works. Overall another great episode which is just as good as the last one.

So Jinki's card is basically a fusion of Glendios and Gyze, huh. Interesting.
This episode gave Vanguard Movie vibes from how the animation was and the OST in the background.
Tbh most of the fight I had no idea whats going, first Jinki soul charging again and again then before I knew it become GRADE 10 then overtrigering at last attack?! Michiru using everything in his hand wasnt enough to beat that. Jinki's deck is like a ticking bomb.
Also props to animation team once again animation of units and expressions of both Michiru and Jinki was so good. And VAs as well I had chills when Michiru said "no guard" last time.
There is also two flame Michiru saw, their ultimate plan and what they have in store for Michiru and the others. Its hard to wait new eps every week😔

A Grade 10 is now the highest. Previously in the Shinemon Arc it revealed Grade 5 Valkyrion which is in Genesis clan.

Glendios, Gyze and now Griphogila. I find it funny, that everytime the main villain uses some busted cards, their name starts with a G lol
They are also all slow decks, but with tremendous power

God damn bushi, that dragontree thing looks nasty. What an exciting episode, it just keeps getting better. But from the "intro" we got in the first episode, it seems like something terrible will happen to Michiru...I am excited to see where the story goes

Even worse... Grade 10 is a Cray Elemental by game mechanics, so Valkyrion can mill this in Premium Genesis for 10 drive (15 if you count the two attacks it can make with the one Uranus).
To give you a short answer, no it's not.

How to make an OP antagonist, make them use deck that uses special mechanic that limited for them or still hasn't available to protagonist group.
I wanted to say this was Gyze all over again, but... the archtype seems pretty balanced? Like, it's quite telegraphed when the Overtrigger will come, and once the overtigger turn is over, the deck is out of surprises and can't do much anymore.(Of course, that will likely change with more support, but it very much feels like a gimmick deck.) I love the VAs work this season, they really sound like they're having fun or giving their all in their respective character personas.

Still not SS level though. Stuck on G0, you can't rush, you're entirely dependant on drawing specific cards to get markers whereas in SS damn near EVERYTHING did, and you need six turns for there to be payoff.

That was just awsome. Im a sucker for Hydra like Dragons, and the "evolving" Bossmonster trate. So this is all I ever wanted. Cool to see a Gyze Like Card in Overdress. And I assume that alle the Uniformers are gonna use the Tree? And most likely theres gonna be one more form of it for the Hooded Guy. All in all this season is just straight 🔥 and its just three episodes

His skill get he a free "over trigger"? Wow, that is incredible. But I would have preferred that Griphogila have been a grade 4 card, because since the second season never seen a new unit in the anime.

If Griphogila is grade 4, it would be able to ride on grade 3 unit. I think the reason why it has to be grade 10 because they want this one to play in game by superior ride only and new sets of heal trigger with skill can be used.
Well, to be fair, you don’t get the Over Trigger until at least turn 11(going first). That and it’s not in the deck during the entire fight so you can never get it defensively.
Don’t get wrong, I think it’s an awesome concept. But Bushiroad went the extra mile to balance it.

Rush decks are the way to kill Dragon Tree! Michiru's deck didn't get upgrade in anime, but with Empusa released, he could pretty much kills Griphogila before it got to use that guaranteed OT effect.

Jinki's Deck is interesting, it encourages you not to Ride and just Soul Charge, that Triggers an evolution on that Seed that turns it into a Grade 10.
That is Dragon Tree of DS. Dragon Tree of other nations will be built differently.

Quite many people praise OVERDRESS era, which me myself didn't have time to watch it sadly except for a few 4 eps for season 1 which I find quite slow. Maybe because I have been pampered with the imaginations, another world trope. But I will definitely continue it when I have time.

Bushiroad is taking ideas of Buddyfight. The Armed orders were also from Buddyfight and grade 10 were inspired from Geargod oversize from 30-1000.

Continuous: all your dragon tree markers become plus 10k instead of 5k
Cb1: call 2 dragon tree cards from deck
If you have 5 or more dragon tree units it gains a crit.
But then we have the calamity cards from set 8 so still not sure
we have already enough Cb in Dragontree, no ? x)

The thing is that since the ot is on the ride deck you dont need to worry about ot damage or check in early so you can rush early but just need to be careful with the trigger numbers and attack with 10000+ cloumns would be a best way to attck this type of deck

Well that is a long way skill need 6 turns 3 to ride Griphogilla and 3 to remove calamity cards if you faced decks like Bruce ,Bastion also especially against Drajewled
Let's gooooooo man i feel conflicted do i get youthberk or drajewel TD cause damn character wise i like michiru but his deck is really hard to master in my opinion but revoldress seems easier to understand and ngl kinda epic
TD of Michiru is incredibly hard to play effectively. After all, the deck doesn't have Falcate Performer and Rock Agour the 2 key cards of the deck. Youthberk TD can be played just fine though. Though the best trial deck out of those 3 is probably Liarnon.

@@evrest9166 If you can rush the hell out of the opponent on your g2 with 2 Upbeat Dragon on the front then Liarnon will dominate. But in such case I recommend Roroa ride line. With the release of Empusa, Drajewelled can rush now too, but only on Drajewelled turn. But I can't say anything for Dear Days, since Empusa is a brand new card and a promo to boot.

Unfortunately, no. First, they need to showcase how absurd the main g3 that have access to all Dragon Tree is. Second, they are not gonna show any new support for Drajewelled in the next episode, not even Empusa would be there.

And here I thought that Grade 5 was the peak grade that I'll ever see in Vanguard guess I was totally wrong.
SPOILERS!
First few seconds of the I episode I was already like "WTF is that thing!?" and then Michiru VS Jinki happened and would you look at that a powerful and evil card that starts as a Grade 0 and becomes stronger when the time comes and any Nation can use it, now that feels somewhat familiar, though I do like how riding to Dragon Tree of Ecliptic Decimation, Griphogila is very unique.
Since Michiru lost Jinki would most likely use him as a test subject to make him the ultimate fighter he wishes to make, though I think it might fail based on the first episode. So Tohya vs Samuel, looking foward to finally seeing Mechs back at this game.
