I swear, after this episode it seems things about this fight were foreshadowed in episode 2. Dialogue from episode 2: Raika: "What true colors are you hiding under that mask?" Sophie: "Well, if you put it that way… Would you like to rip my mask off?" Raika: "I don't need to. As long as you keep hiding your true colors, victory shall be mine." Raika: "Sophie Belle." Sophie: "What is it?" Raika: "You're still hiding something." Sophie: "Next time, let's play with just the two of us. That time, I shall show you my true magic." Not only did they say mask, but also Raika said victory will be his as long as Sophie hides her true colors, and she said she'll show her true magic the next time they fight. Then, six episodes later, i.e. this episode, they fight again and what happens? Sophie reveals things to Raika about Uniformers, and she shows off a Masques unit, and Raika loses.
She says she will show him her true power before leaving when they faced last time, it was pretty much a guarantee after zakusas fight that she was gonna win the rematch with a DT/masque
Oh man here we go here we go HERE WE GO!! Plot kicking in full gear and i never felt so excited and scared at the same time for Vanguard lol since the Link Joker season. Which is funny considering the conflict this season really followed it beats.

JESUS THIS EPISODE WAS INTENSE, from what it look like, this season is going to be where the main cast get corrupted and lose and I have a theory where in the next season we are going to have a change in the main character like mirei or shinobu or something, either way this was a awesome episode

Sophie is such a perfect depiction of a sadist you love to hate, but can't completely dislike. She's so pretty, yet displays such ugliness of character in such a suave way that she really bewitches and strings viewers along like a witch. It's so weird to hear serious and uptight Kourin's VA do such a different character! Truly fantastic voice acting breadth. I can't help but feel she just wants to fight someone who can go toe-to-toe with her without breaking. Cursed by being too gifted in everything she does, she wants to create a fighter who can overwhelm and challenge her... But that's just a guess.

Or he could be YuYu's dad (whom we still have not seen fully) and could be trying to stop what he started. He faked his death to be with his new family, but Jinki still found his dark secret and YuYu's dad will be trying to stop him from behind the scenes.
So sophie's deck not only does dark irregulars stuff (just like Michiru & the greedon kid), and Narukami self binding, but also Genesis Revalation without rearguard resting...that's just not fair
Eh not really, I mean cool that Astroea can now Multiattack and add more pressure, but so far it didn't fix issue with it's reliance on critical triggers. The deck kind of loses steam after binding them and ironically you see less triggers during drive check. The deck really needs a normal unit that can act as critical trigger from at least from soul, drop and bind for this to have a needed consistency boost. At least that's my opinion. I'm expecting I will probably be flamed.

Plot aside obviously, she had some insaaaaane draw luck that had she not got wouldve probably favored raika heavily, however raika also had some crazy luck literally going into gust and popping crit just like their last matchup. But yeah, her draw luck was borderline unfair lmao Either way, it was a somewhat fun match to watch, always a good time with these two on screen.

Wow. After Zorga's reveal last week, this was overall very underwhelming I feel. It's a huge puzzle that's going to struggle with the 8 crits limit, not to mention it's... I dunno... You clearly understabd shit about VG! Zorga needs multiple pieces to make it work. Furthermore Zorga Masques can't run other Zorga due to space in the deck. That's not a problem for Astroa, so Bicomasques can use that skill multiple times unlike Zorga . And 4 attack to boot.
CIA doesn't have authority to make an arrest though. It's not a law enforcement agency. At best, he can detain someone until law enforcer federation like FBI or local police takes said person on custody, but without any solid evidence to back up the claim she made, chances are she won't be hold for long.

I think it’s obvious that Orfist is going to get a Masque with Zakusa’s incident last episode, DE could be Nirvana/Vairina if they decide to take the dark path with Yuyu, Keter I’m honestly not sure, I doubt it’ll be Tohya, Raika is unlikely but not impossible, Hexaorb is gettin a new form which would be funny but there’s no Hexa player in the show currently. Otherwise we have like, Solrarion who could be introduced in the show and then have a masque form next set, many potentials and all pretty interesting

Wow. After Zorga's reveal last week, this was overall very underwhelming I feel.
It's a huge puzzle that's going to struggle with the 8 crits limit, not to mention it's... I dunno... Zorga has a big engine and threatening moves, this just doesn't. It's Viamance Bruce level. They really had Raika brick and Sophie had maximum output to make this scenario.

You clearly understabd shit about VG! Zorga needs multiple pieces to make it work. Furthermore Zorga Masques can't run other Zorga due to space in the deck. That's not a problem for Astroa, so Bicomasques can use that skill multiple times unlike Zorga . And 4 attack to boot.
CIA doesn't have authority to make an arrest though. It's not a law enforcement agency. At best, he can detain someone until law enforcer federation like FBI or local police takes said person on custody, but without any solid evidence to back up the claim she made, chances are she won't be hold for long.
