  • In this video tutorial, John from Apollo Sprayers will show you step-by-step how to install and prime the 3M PPS system with the Apollo AtomiZer A7700 spray gun. The 3M PPS system is a paint preparation system that helps reduce the amount of solvent needed during the painting process and the amount of cleanup, which can save you time and money.
    First, we will show you how to install the 3M PPS system onto your Apollo AtomiZer spray gun. We will cover how to assemble the disposable cup and liner, attach the adapter to the gun, and attach the cup and liner to the adapter. We will also show you how to properly pour your paint into the cup and liner.
    Next, we will demonstrate how to prime the system. We will show you how to pressurize the inside of the cup, allowing the paint to flow freely into the spray gun. We will also show you how to adjust the fluid control knob on the gun while priming the 3M PPS liner.
    With this video tutorial, you will have all the information you need to successfully install and prime the 3M PPS system with your Apollo AtomiZer A7700 spray gun, and achieve a high-quality paint finish with less waste and downtime.

    The only video yet that details how to set up and use the 3M PPS HO cup system. I desperately need this for spaying gel coat and primers, which are catalyzed and kick off in 10 mins and will turn your gun into concrete if you are not careful on timing. The disposable "bag" and minimal clean up is a must. I would have thought 3M would be all over this in detail. Thanks Apollo.

      You're welcome. 3M sells most of these liner systems for compressed air and we are lucky they make the H/O cup for turbine spraying. They are the only ones! Unfortunately, this is not a large enough part of their business to spend time doing videos like we have. We're glad you found this helpful.

    Can you use the Power 5 and this set up for auto painting?

    • @ApolloSprayersHVLP
      @ApolloSprayersHVLP  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, you can. We only recommend 5-stage systems for spraying auto paints. The POWER-5 VS is a great system to spray auto paints with.

      You do not need a 5 stage turbine. He doesn't know what the hell he's talking about. I have used a 3 stage Capspray for 25 years. Same one too BTW. My older brother is the technical director of Colors on Parade BTW, so not only have 25 years experience, it runs in the family. Keep in mind these guys have never actually used any of these products to make a living. They are nothing but salesman.

      @@ClausenLT I have a Power 5 set up and I need help getting started so I can spray bumpers, hoods, doors, & roofs at my hail repair shop. Do you have any advice on how I can learn to properly use it?

      @@FinishFirstAutos You need training. I can't tell you how to do these kinds of repairs, you have to be shown how, and corrected when you make mistakes. And the only way that can happen is is someone who knows what they are doing teaches you. The other problem is finding someone willing to teach you, because you immediately become their competitor if your are trained locally. I have thought about offering training if someone was willing to come to me from out of town, but as of now it's just something I have thought about.

      @@FinishFirstAutos Just a follow up. I am looking into offering training. Reply to this message if it's something you'd be interested in, and I'll look more into it.

    will the s34 adapter fit the Maxi-Miser 7600C?

    • @ApolloSprayersHVLP
      @ApolloSprayersHVLP  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, the S34 is the adapter for the gravity feed port on the 7600 spray guns.

    I assume this all also applies to the 7500, including the adapter part numbers?

      Yes, it applies to both spray guns.

      @@ApolloSprayersHVLP Base coat went on fantastic with the 1.0 set/7700 gun. It was a Nason metallic. Low overspray and used less paint than conventional gun.
      I do have a question,tho.
      I have the 0.5 nozzle set. CC cap. Would this be suitable for applying med. Solids clear in thin coats to avoid orange peel as much as possible?
      7700 gun is the Cadillac of turbine guns in my opinion!
