For anyone wondering you cant do Stealth in Sniper Elite 1, the enemies always know where you are

There is something still very charming about sniper elite 3 to this day which I cannot really figure out but although sniper elite 4 was the best in terms of balancing with map sizes ( SE 5s maps are almost too bug) and almost everything else is perfect aboyt se4 but...sniper elite 3 is just solid

V2 would be my favorite if not for the fact that the Welrod is mandatory. Stealth takedown doesn't work if the enemy is sitting, prone or leaning on the wall, and going loud means certain death in some areas. They only give you 1 magazine for your smg so you have to choose either the MP40 or the Pssshhhhhhhhhh for ammo depending on whether your enemies are Russian or German. Not being able to swap shoulders while aiming is a big problem. When you turn right around the corner enemies can see your full body before you can see them, which makes the smg vital for close quarters, since you can blindly spray bullets and stagger enemies without having to fully aim. But I do like the simplicity of V2's controls and the kill cams are more satisfying. (In SE4 when you hit someone there is no bullet hole, so it looks awfully dumb without the xray view).
