Couldn’t agree more I waited so long for 5 to come out when it did I bought it and was absolutely gutted just couldn’t get on with it I thinks 4 is so much better I found 5 to be boring I actually deleted it ! I’m still playing 4 best game ever !

SE5 maps were over populated?

I prefer the HDM over the welrod because when I miss a shot with the welrod it takes a second to reload and the enemies are already shooting me with their SMG‘s when you have a HDM and you miss a shot, you just keep shooting till they’re dead.

Thanks for another interesting Sniper Elite vid T Wilson - up to your usual quality as ever. The DeLisle is a delight, and to my shame I've spent years ignoring it, running with the large repeaters with better scopes and bigger magazines. It's SO much fun I've re-run the entire game just using the DeLisle and a shotgun, shame there's no bayonet options in SE4 as that would truly be the absolute icing on the cake. Will no try it with the Pump shotgun and bayonet in SE5. Loved the background history you stuck on as well, well done, keep up the excellent work.😁

I love the FNAB - hands down the best secondary. If I don't have it, I have the drilling. I did recently play through Authentic plus primarily with the STEN and I can attest to its accuracy and efficiency. I wouldn't feel outgunned with one.

Wow. I went into this expecting the Delisle at the bottom. Would love to see someone clear an authentic plus survival map with it, that would be damn impressive. When I first got the game I loved the Carcano because of the advanced zoom and the extra bullet. If you are playing anything below authentic difficulty, it doesn't really matter. Pick what you like and run it. My top rifles are the Winchester, Mosin, Carcano, K98 and Springfield. I would be comfortable taking any of these for anything, including authentic or authentic plus. Next tier would be Swedish Mauser, Enfield, G43, SVT, Mannlicher and the Ross MK. III. Last tier would be the M1's, the ZH29 and the Delisle Carbine.

se 5 has sound masking with any vehicle with an engine which makes more sense than there being 150 generators around an empty ruin in se 3

Being a run n' gun type of guy, the Shotguns in any FPS are always my favorite. In Goldeneye 007, the Automatic Shotgun is a weapon variant of the normal Shotgun (which is not normally found in the game). The Automatic Shotgun fires five pellets ahead of Bond in a cone shape, making it almost worthless at long distances, but extremely effective at short range. The Automatic Shotgun is slightly faster then its original counterpart (Regular Shotgun), and the cone range is not as wide, making it very useful against groups of enemies at short range in open areas. The Automatic Shotgun is superior to the regular Shotgun in every way. It surpasses in terms of accuracy and damage, and has lower recoil and noise. Each pellet does less damage than a normal strength weapon (such as the PP7), but a target hit by all five pellets will take even more damage than if they had been hit by the Cougar Magnum or Moonraker Laser. The Magnum does 2 damage per shot, the Moonraker laser does 2 damage per shot, while the Automatic Shotgun does 3 damage per shot (0.6 damage per pellet, 0.6 x 5 pellets = 3 damage). One shot (5 pellets) from the Automatic Shotgun does 12.5 damage to the head, 6 damage to the body, and 3 damage to the limbs. With 5 shots in the chamber, the Automatic Shotgun makes you an absolute close range freight train, and allows you to one-shot kill at least up to 5 people on average before having to reload. This makes the Automatic Shotgun have the 9th highest damage output/kill potential out of every weapon in the game (10th highest damage/kill potential out of every weapon in the game if you include the Tank Turret as it's own weapon): 1. GOLD PP7 2. GOLDEN GUN 3. GRANADE LAUNCHER 4. REMOTE MINES 5. ROCKET LAUNCHER 6. GRENADES 7. TIMED MINES 8. PROXIMITY MINES 9. AUTOMATIC SHOTGUN Furthermore, If you have 2X Automatic Shotguns (Dual Wielding 2 Automatic Shotguns), that means you have 10 shots before reloading, and you do double the damage per shot when firing both Automatic Shotguns at the same time (6 damage), which means you do 2 more points of damage per shot compared to 2X Cougar Magnums (Dual Wield) and the 2X Moonraker Lasers (Dual Wield). With 10 shots available before reload with 2X Automatic Shotguns (Dual Wield), that means you can dish out up to 30 more points of damage before reloading compared to 2X Cougar Magnums (Dual Wield) and 2X Moonraker Lasers (Dual Wield), and have the ability to one-shot kill up to 10 people on average before having to reload, which just makes you a close quarters bulldozing rampaging monster. Also, as a bonus: The Automatic Shotgun is only found in Statue. The Automatic Shotgun was originally supposed to be available in Frigate, and it was possibly removed for balance reasons. Many pre-release screen shots show the Automatic Shotgun, one of them being a shot of the watch with 6 bars. The Automatic Shotgun appears to be based on the Franchi SPAS-12. When the player reloads the Automatic Shotgun with four shells or less in reserve, the shells in the rack on the gun will be used, but this is a completely cosmetic change; the number of shells in the rack has no effect on the function of the weapon. Although normally only found in Statue, the All Guns cheat allows Bond to obtain it in any other mission. In Caverns, it is possible to find guards with this weapon after Trevelyan escapes into the elevator. (These guards have good taste, indeed). This weapon is dangerous under enemy guards' hands, as being hit from the Automatic Shotgun inflicts the full damage on Bond regardless of range and they fire it much faster than the player. Trevelyan wields an Automatic Shotgun in Caverns, although he never fires it. (A man of good taste, indeed).

if you play with the auto-aid for aiming, in the form of a "red diamond", then it does not matter at all which rifle you choose. The difference in rifles is noticeable only when you play without the auto-aid for aiming. in my opinion, the Winchester 1895 is most suitable for playing without auto-aid aiming.

If you play like the author of the video, with the "red diamond" that helps you aim, then it doesn't matter which rifle you take. If you play "like an adult", then the Winchester 1895 is the best option in my opinion.

Last week (on November 2024) Sniper Elite 4 was only eight bucks for a black Friday deal on PSN. Sony finally did something right and inadvertently saved me what I would have spent on a copy of S.E 5 at Best Buy. When are these studios going to learn that no, not everyone wants to play CoD.

I Just hate the COD vanguard weapon customization system in this game, basically it's out of issued weapons, with a bunch of experimental attachment.

i have already picked MKB-42 and realized his complaint is the recoil and someone said to just pull down, so its basically an ak47 in csgo, i even picked it cause it looked familiar didnt know it even had the same mechanic, anyways will try your first and prob go back to my favourite

I love the Carcano in the campaign, it’s truly excellent!

There is one reasons why I use the Carcano more than the Mosin-Nagant The first reason is that the Carcano is clip fed.

My preferred choice has always been the FNAB. It’s just so good at power and it really doesn’t need a fire because it’s just so damn powerful and I love it.

Yeah, I totally agree with this. The PPK is good but not the best I used it. My first played Deathstorm 3 and it was good, but I think the Luger is better, which is the gun I use now. and yeah, it’s totally just gets the job done it’s perfect for close range.

I've recently found a passion for SE4 and I knew I was on to something with the Carcano. I traded my Delisle for it mid-mission on a whim and just tore through everything. Your sense of humor is also impeccable. I lost it at every joke and witty line 😂

I'm curious, did you find that any of the lower rated rifles were actually more useful on Survival mode? I'm thinking of the M1 specifically. I didn't ever use it in the game, but in Survival, it is my go-to main gun. And if not, what do you use in the Solo Survival mode?

I'd be interested in knowing what your favorite loadout(s) are for survival mode! You rank the guns VERY similarly to the way I would, so I'm naturally curious as to whether we use the same or similar loadouts for the survival mode. Either way, cheers, well done!

I've recently picked the game up again to finally go for the platinum and while I haven't used most of the Rifles I completely agree on the De-lilse and the Carcano. I remembe that I've used the former for my first playthrough, but I've switched to Carcano for authentic, simply because of better long range shots and a better scope (4x vs 6x) and so far I'm happy with my choice. That being said though, I probably play the game wrong though as I rarely use the Sniper at all as I prefer the up close and personal approach, so knife and Welrod it is for me for most of the time and if things get ugly I use the Thompson M1. In the end it almost completely depends on how you want to use the gun: If you're good a changing targets and want to kill multiple ones in a short amount of time quick reload is essential, but if you only rarely use it, but definitely want to kill the target with one shot looking for the one with the most damage might be better.

Especially the level design is leagues above SE 5. The newer game feels lazy and buggy in comparison.

Feel like you were a bit hard on the Nagant revolver. If you’re using it as a stealth weapon, you’re only firing a few rounds at a time and can keep it topped up to avoid the unusually-long empty reload animation. I think the damage and accuracy make up for the slow rate of fire and reload

Your top two are the same as mine. Hard to decide between the all around strength of the Carcano and the stealth of the DeLisle.
