My first time playing on that tutorial part where you shoot the spotlights I took out the suppressed 1911 and shot the guard in the nuts. I was like damn
v2 and 3 had the best killcams, no idea why they removed the different variations of the "bullet flyby" noise in 4 and 5 as it made the killcams significantly more intense
Just for you know if your read the Intel on the sniper under the radar at the first mission (yeah the one that shot you in the face xD) you learn that his dog got puppies and he asked a permission too see them

This game series has taught me something, if there is no one to alert to then every mission is a stealth mission. Also those invasions man. I do love em. At least game makers can cover their AI with competent enemy players. XD

I think sniper elite 5 in terms of the weapon selection and maps isn’t nearly as good as the previous, but I’m a sniper elite fan no matter what and it is still pretty good. Mission are shorter now and take less planning. Can’t have it always be the same tho. Good game. I like invasion too. They fucked up the kill cams for some reason tho it’s like my bullet goes in 2 inches then their head FLIES back before my round even had a chance to go through. Now it’s it’s sitting there in the killcam way above his head lol. Also if I get a shot right in the head I don’t see the entrance and exit in the skull just shows the brain which doesn’t show any wounds. Kinda disappointing
From what I've read, you get a XP penalty if you turn invasions off, and the anti-camping ( in a sniper game lawl ) will autokill you. So quitting out is just quicker if you just want to play the campaign in relative peace.
It's not punishing you for turning them off it's rewarding people for playing with it on. How is this such a hard concept for people to grasp? You don't need it on to max anything out, there's nothing special unlocked and I'm almost 100% sure you only get any extra XP for doing shit WHILE invaded. I never saw the little XP notifier say I was getting more than standard until there was an invader and I was completing objectives. The anti-camping mechanic needs some work though.

The game has done a fantastic job of making me go non lethal because of those little character blurbs. And then removing all true incentive to go non lethal by making lethal takedowns give more experience. Truly genius.

Yeah... almost every shot I took on a guy to the head in Sniper Elite 5 ended up with me giving them a haircut and their helmet going flying more than 100 meters away while they live to alert the ENTIRE map. Never had this happen before in SE3. Rare occasion in SE4.

I haven't experienced too many bugs tho, just the scope disappearing from my sniper and some ragdoll glitches but it's very fun to play with friends
