That's what I love about my favorite reactors. They have that ability to react to a movie or show we enjoy at the right time and make you feel better for a half hour or so. On my birthday (dec 23) nobody really observed it. A reactor watched 12 monkeys for the 1st time & it pumped me up.

That coach is one of the more memorable side characters of an 80's movie. He wasn't in it a lot, but damn he was great.
"There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese." LMAO!!!

Great film. You should watch part two. Scott cousin goes to college as the teen Wolf is in his genes too. And instead of basketball he tears it up in Boxing matches. Played by a young Jason Bateman.
The story to me for the first one is like a teen going through puberty. Growing hair grow everywhere. But in a little bit of seriousness it true what the father said to Scott. Be careful what you turn into. Like a life decision. And when the father said I'd don't know who was scared, him or me. Cause being the wolf has power and could be very dangerous. Dad could of killed that man. And Scott could hurt someone if he doesn't control the wolf. Such a righteous key point. Love it. I wish they remake this but more intune with that aspect. Anyway good movie choices.

My mom would drop me off at the local theater back then, and I saw it 3 times in a row, and when released on VHS I pirated it (just like everyone did back then) and watched it often. LOL It was recorded on the same VHS tape with Top Gun and Short Circuit. Let me know if you are interested in the soundtrack. I found the very rare final song on napster 20 years ago, the version with the piano solo. The version on the soundtrack doesn't include the piano solo.

The purpose of a dof whistle is for training your dog. Only dogs can hear that high pitch, the human ear can't; so you can command your dog to do certain commands depending on how you blow the whistle.

Him turning into a wolf was more believable than the basketball game.

I wish this movie had played with basketball tropes more. Foul-out the bully, then intentionally miss the last free-throw and take it into overtime with the bully unable to play.

dog whistle is so high pitched humans can't hear it but dogs can, so the idea is you train your dog to it so you can call them for example at night without making loud noises. that's also why people say it about coded language for example some politician says something but they are supposed to mean something else it's a "dog whistle" that only certain people will hear. i guess an ancient example would be there was a king of England who said "who will rid me of this meddlesome priest?" and one of his homies went and killed the Arch Biship of the Church even though the king didn't "technically" say to do that.

I know I keep commenting but the writer of this movie went on to have a successful career as a comic book writer who write many Spider-Man and Batman stories: hence him saying Spider-Man’s manta in this movie. It’s not a coincidence

This movie almost tries to out 80s itself. The dialogue, music, and acting are so of the time. Brings back a lot of memories. I loved movie as a kid. Pretty funny to see it now

Come on man. A dog whistle is a whistle that only dogs can hear. It is at a very high pitch. You can use it to train your dog without disturbing anyone around you. No need to yell, clap, or snap commands if your dog is trained with the whistle. They were huge in the 80s.

This was one of my favorites as a 1st grader when it came out. I loved werewolves since I was really little. I loved the Saturday morning cartoon too but parts of it annoyed me by how different it was from the movie... like the town didn't know and they had to keep it a secret.

If it's at all possible, add the movie Greedy to your list of movies to react to!
The Back to the Future movies and Teenwolf are the best Michael J. Fox movies.
But Greedy is the low key underrated gem Michael J. Fox movie!!!
    Best Regards!

Bro I watched this as a kid and haven't seen it since now. I did not know how freaky the movie was lol, I didn't remeber any of the love stuff and totally forgot how everyone was just chill with the wolf transformation lol. I thought this was just a cheap Disney Channel type of movie but this was great as hell
