24:31 J dancing along to the "Twist and Shout" scene is the best thing that's ever been done in a reaction video. I first saw Ferris Bueller in '86 in Lincoln, Nebraska. I was with a group of friends, about 12 of us altogether. When "Twist and Shout" stated, we were literally dancing in the aisles.
Watched this in 1987 with family. I was 10 years old. Such a wonderful memory! My uncle LOVED the guys in the garage who stole the car! And just another friendly reminder to consider watching the 1980 Oscar winner, Ordinary People. You won't regret it!
My sister almost didn't graduate because of P.E. too. The school had a point system, where you could run off your points; 6 minutes for 1 point. My parents told her that she'd have to do whatever it takes to walk at graduation. My mom literally told her that she did not care if she had to commit a crime, she was going to graduate. My sister ran for 9 hours, right up until 45 minutes before graduation.
I slept all the way thru 10th grade and didn't do shit really 11th or 12 either. Graduated. Had teachers that didn't teach, couldn't teach, just babysat students. As long as you didn't bother some, you got a C. Even didn't show up for 12th grade classes at all and drove off lots. If all the students do the same, they pass you because they have to have enough people graduate to get their money as well.

Not sure if you planned it or it's just coincidence, but based upon the baseball game they attended the movie takes place on June 5th. Also, I am pretty sure this is the first movie to have a post-credit scene.

I had an Aunt Grace when I was younger. Man, the terror I'd put that woman through whenever I'd yell Graaaace at her like Principal Rooney does lol. Would make my Uncle piss his pants laughing.
if we missed a class during the day in the early 90's, we would get an automated "skip call" recording at our house and it was very important that it was intercepted so the parents wouldn't find out lol
I had a friend who almost didn’t graduate from college because of PE. The funny thing was he went to college on a football scholarship and was assistant coach for the high school that was associated with the college. He coached football and basketball for them instead of taking PE and they were going to hold him back for not taking the class. When I was growing up if you were sick enough to stay home you stayed in bed with no tv just books if you could read. Also if you stayed home you maybe got to go out to the sofa after school. It worked pretty good for all of us except my brother who was very happy staying home and reading.
Watching this made me think of another movie for you to check out - they came out around the same time. Adventures in Babysitting. It's a great film and funny too.
Great reaction to a classic 1986 movie, Save Ferris! Another great 1986 movie is The Little Shop of Horrors, starring Rick Moranis, Ellen Greene, and Steve Martin. I strongly recommend this one for the channel, hope you'll consider it!
Yes, that was Buffy. And you recognized Ben Stein too. But did you recognize the lead from Dirty Dancing? In the TV series Ferris Bueller's Day Off, his sister was played by Jennifer Aniston before her nose job. I'm SOOOO glad you watched till the post-credits! But sorry you didn't include the "righteous dude" scene.
This is a great movie. I always liked it. The credits system in high school is a scam. They held me back in the 11th grade because I didn't have enough credits because I dropped an auto technician program that I realized I wasn't cut out for and it wouldn't have been fair for me to stay in it when anyone else would've been kicked out. I turned 18 during August of that year so I decided to drop out. I always hated school and that was just the final nail in that coffin. They already held me back in the first grade and I just couldn't go through that again. Realistically you aren't going to remember anything they teach in school beyond the basics and some random obscure knowledge that you'll probably never make use of and I already learned all that I needed. I stick by that decision 14 years later. School was a prison and I've been free ever since.
Ferris Buller is basically what you get when you max out a character’s Luck and Charisma.

25:19 ........please😁. Glad you liked this one. Great vid, sir!
Hope you are having an great and awesome day ❤
Not sure if you planned it or it's just coincidence, but based upon the baseball game they attended the movie takes place on June 5th.
Also, I am pretty sure this is the first movie to have a post-credit scene.
Def wasn’t a coincidence. LoL
Not sure of you saw Howard the Duck but Principal Rooney was in that too. Along with the wonderful Lea Thomson. Absolutely worth a watch if you haven't seen it already.
Also, congrats on the 35k subscribers! You will no doubt continue to grow and I'll always promote your channel when I can. 🤟
And Leah Thompson was in Some Kind of Wonderful. More 6 degrees of separation in Hollywood
“He about to have you barking at the moon, girl!” OMG!! 😂😂
THIS movie is credited as the FIRST movie to promote an after credits scene.
I had an Aunt Grace when I was younger. Man, the terror I'd put that woman through whenever I'd yell Graaaace at her like Principal Rooney does lol. Would make my Uncle piss his pants laughing.
YAAAAAAS!!! I’m so happy you are reacting to this movie! This came out the year I graduated high school.❤❤❤❤😊
A little weird, but Ferris was in a relationship with the actor that played his sister is real life. Also I believe his parents really got married
Both things are true although both sets of couples later broke up.
if we missed a class during the day in the early 90's, we would get an automated "skip call" recording at our house and it was very important that it was intercepted so the parents wouldn't find out lol
congrats on 35k, love the channel!
25:07 - lol I thought of 'seizure' just before you said it. Great minds think alike lol
You can tell Blank is elite at this by how much of the music he was able to keep in.
When you dropped the “that’s your ass Mr.postman” I lost it! Lol. Nice Friday reference…
@21:08 Gummy from Fletch on the Left. Dude on the right must live in downtown los angeles because I ran into him at the library and he was on a bike.
7:12 “is that key to the plot?” Yes actually
@5:24 Hardly anyone notices that this bit in the movie was a callback to Matthew Broderick’s first major role in WarGames.
Another classic
You're a hilarious reacter. You're channel should be bigger!
"I would beat his ass back to the future." Best line ever! LOL
you actually had me saying Thanks for playing Life as the car goes backwards out the window 😂
This movie is so fun no matter how many times I see it
Watching this made me think of another movie for you to check out - they came out around the same time. Adventures in Babysitting. It's a great film and funny too.
Cameron was in Speed with Keanu Reeves. He was the dorky guy on the bus.
Great reaction to a classic 1986 movie, Save Ferris! Another great 1986 movie is The Little Shop of Horrors, starring Rick Moranis, Ellen Greene, and Steve Martin. I strongly recommend this one for the channel, hope you'll consider it!
"Oh, thanks for playing because that's your ass, Mr. postman" hahahahahaha I am dying!!
Love your reaction. ~ Did you recognize Cameron as one of the bus passengers in Speed?
On your way to 100k next homie. Much love
This was one of my favorite viewings. You killed it JL. I'm gonna add this to my own personal cocaine cabinet 😂
29:03 that last part was to make sure he wasn't about to SA her
Deadpool got his talk to the audience game direct from this movie
This movie has some of the best lines!!
