My concern with China is when was confronted with a video of Chinese moving prisoners with heads shaved, bound, and blindfolded en masse, their ambassador said "this is just how we move prisoners" and refused to provide court case documents. Don't worry about us, issues do exist but mostly we're fine. Immigration is a recent event so acceptance takes time, and Muslims in the West have to deal with the 1000 years of animosity due to close proximity with the West, so there are historical factors. But, on the whole, we're fine, especially in Britain. Although, other Western countries do have worrisome issues.
The Muslims in Europe actually have roots in their own countries where they can return to. The Chinese Muslims live in their own homeland so there's a difference.

They get to have basic living subsidies covered with houses or condominiums given to them if they need to be moved for development of mines or agriculture. Their children enjoy easier admission to universities. They got to have as many as children they wanted whereas the majority Hans cannot have more than one child before except farmers in countryside during prior era. Top entertainers often are minorities because Hans consider them handsome or beautiful.
Affirmative Action is probably not the right word for this. In America it was supposed to correct the great injustices that the US committed against black people throughout slavery and Jim Crow (spoiler alert: it didn't actually correct much of anything). But unless you're saying China has oppressed its minorities and is now trying to correct that error, Affirmative Action is not a good term to use.

Chinese government practises real Affirmative Action for minorities. They get to have basic living subsidies covered with houses or condominiums given to them if they need to be moved for development of mines or agriculture. Their children enjoy easier admission to universities. They got to have as many as children they wanted whereas the majority Hans cannot have more than one child before except farmers in countryside during prior era. Top entertainers often are minorities because Hans consider them handsome or beautiful.
Affirmative Action is probably not the right word for this. In America it was supposed to correct the great injustices that the US committed against black people throughout slavery and Jim Crow (spoiler alert: it didn't actually correct much of anything). But unless you're saying China has oppressed its minorities and is now trying to correct that error, Affirmative Action is not a good term to use.

In every country including the US have laws to protect national security of the nation. This include China. In Singapore you can be detain without trial if you commit treasons, etc under the Internal Security Act against the State. In China you have freedom to pray to a tree for good luck and fortune. The CPC government will not jail you.
